For the people who are complaining about gnarpy's design, the original designer was found out to be a very bad person, so just deal with it they could've just removed gnarpy in the first place
I think that the only problem with the new design it's that it doesn't look like it fits with the other characters, mostly because it lacks the blocky style

The problem with this design is simple : it doesn’t fit the game style, compare new not Gnarpy and old Gnarpy with another NPC in the elevator and you see the problem. Also the doubling body part is unecessary. The design in itself is good, it’s just not for regretevators style edit : i saw two point made for this change and i will respond if anyone re-says it again first : Gnarpy is an alien so its fine. -No, even if Gnarpy is an alien, why cant xe look like us ? What law or omnipotent entity stops xyr to have evolved like humans but replace apes by cats ? second : creator is bad and you suck -AFRM gave full ownership of Gnarpy to Yeucc, which means that Gnarpy can still be used and not credit the old owner, also i am not saying that the redesign is only bad, just that its not made for the game and feels like more of a fan art than an official character. edit 2 : Yeccu confirmed the rthro-ization of more NPCs, this is sad but i think the reason is because Roblox only promotes games with rthro and they want to expend the scope of Regretevator to maybe make products of it (MARKETABLE PLUSHIEEEEES), not sure tho but i feel like its the most likely reason. edit 3 : I am going insane, the more i dig, the less evidence there actually is against AFRM being a predator..HELP-
The redesign definitely looks better than how it could’ve gone, but xe would look better with the classic blocky style to better fit with the rest of the npc’s plus the general game style. I get it if they keep the rthro style in though.
Honestly, because of how the design was made. I don't think it would've looked better. Because of the arms, it would look weird in blocky style. Though they probably could do it, they did choose to make it rthro style . Though I can get why you rather have it blocky but I honestly think it fits because Gnarpy is an alien, so of course it will look way different from other npcs.
all of the npcs that come in the elevator and stay out of it will eventually get a redesign also this is probably gonna be the new style considering we have new miche and gnarp lol
@reiireiiiyayayayayayayayayaa as well of the concept of prototype is made in the same style, this style of model might just be a reoccurring thing and a thing to get used to as hard as the change may seem
so they would explain why they changed it or redesigned it cuz they will maybe say “uhh let’s not talk about weird drawings and those innnaporate things ok?”
0:19 Ive found 3 tickets on the mine flood level (I have no clue what it’s called) they’re kinda rare, idk what other floors they’re on You can also get a ticket if you buy a floor and leave/disconnect before the floor happens

Gnarpy's redesign isn't that bad, I honestly thought it would be worse. I don't get what everyone's complaining about. Yeah sure it might not fit too well in the game, but I think its fine overall.

It doesnt fit in the game at all, that is the main problem with the redesign (ignoring that the whole redesign was made on a lie) We could have gotten worst, but we SHOULD have gotten better. Gnarpy is(or was ig) a pillar of the community, an OC which the people enjoyed, and then the people are given the finger and forbidden from giving input to improve the redesign.
Gnarpy's new design look really nice cute 'nd all, but xe just doesn't look like a little menace to society anymore + xe doesn't fit with the other characters as many other people have said. They definitely should have made xim meanier...
I really like the new gnarpy, new model is pretty cute and looks alike like y.z's model, me and my friends were trying to get him and one of my friends was live, we came at two stud camp and we got... spud, i was so angry i wanted to destroy spud lol, but we had a good time playing regreteveator last night, plus the red armor on gnarpy really shows his bravery and personality!
i think the new gnarpy actually works pretty nicely... like, it looks so different from the other npcs because its from another world or soemthing also yeah i just like how it looks
I will say this, I’m not a huge Regretevator fan but my friend has played it and the art of it has drawn me in a bit. I do not like Gnarpy’s redesign, generally it feels very underwhelming and the concept art for it looks like it was made in 2 minutes with no real thought behind the design other than to change it due to the OG creator of Gnarpy having some issues as you can see in the replies of “FDuckyWasHere’s” comment and probably others. The design feels so separated from the style of Regretevator as everything else is very blocky, you can even see the different with the old and current versions of Gnarpy where the old one seemed to have used something similar to the base Roblox model unlike this one. People are saying “it looks more alien-like” but that never felt like a problem in my eyes, generally it was clear with the whole UFO stuff that Gnarpy was an alien. Also, there were star themes literally imprinted on their pawpads and chest so you can tell they’re more “astral” than the usual characters. The patterns also feel more tabby-like and honestly I wish that they were sharper. This new model gives off a “cute” or “friendly” vibe to it as by the round shapes, but looking at the lore that isn’t the case. I get Gnarpy seeming friendly and stuff but I also wish that the designs had a more tiger-like inspiration to them as a nod to the horrific things Gnarpy has done. I also feel that Gnarpy’s redesign where it doubles everything doesn’t sit well with me. I get maybe there is a small Nekomata inspiration but the ears aren’t splitting they have 4 ears. They also have 2 tails, I don’t know it feels too much. The torso area and limbs feel so basic, like the underbelly isn’t even patterned or anything it is quite literally a blob. It also feels off because everything else yellow glows neon, in the design all the yellow parts glowed neon, in this design it does not. The red armor looks nice but feels bland, it doesn’t even look like armor tbh it looks like wristbands and a cloak on them. To me, it feels every overdesigned but also too basic to fit in and it gives off this sort of weird feeling. Not to mention the other characters are actually quite simplistic in Regretevator, sure there is Pest’s whole Japanese things and other stuff like Pilby but in general they feel very simple in shape and color. Here, Gnarpy’s design stands out due to the previous mention of how it feels underwhelmingly simple in the center but overdesigned in the extremities. It doesn’t have the same feel as the old Gnarpy, it doesn’t have the same vibe as the other characters, and it feels very off compared to everything else. Standalone it is a great design and character, but when you have all the other Regretevator things added on it just feels out of place. Uhh sorry for the long rant I just wanted to get how I feel about this out, this is more of a hate comment to Gnarpy but it’s just how I feel about it. True, the old one looks simpler and better, and plus easier to make memes and draw, which also gave the game more popularity, now it's just a made in a hurry design that doesn't fit and just bad overall.
tickets are obtained through flood fill mine. its a rare chance they appear in a block rather than a coin. (thats the mining flood floor) also, the redisign i actually think is great. the double everything design is great for this weird alien cat creature, and the detailed model doesnt look bad.
Xe actually looks like a war general now, and xe looks more alien like and not just a green cat, plus xyr design is much more detailed and interesting then the original. Plus the original designer shared nswf art with his friends and did other stuff so xe isn't going back to what xe looked like before
@@sprintfoxy1240 Yes they did, the creator of Gnarpy did nsfw bait (or something similar) and a lot of disgusting things, so they changed the design of xem to distance xem from xyr original creator.
The creator distanced himself too from the game and even gave full right of Gnarpy to Yeccu. So the change is imo already unnecessary. But sure let’s redesign just to be sure. Why make it non-blocky ? Why break the game style ?
0:20 some coins can be replaced by a ticket or in certain flors they can be obtained in special ways like on the mining floor there’s a chance for a block to be a ticket block that’s the easiest way to get them for me
The old design was simplistic and looked nice in the blocky style I would say, the new one just has way too much going on and with this model style it just sticks out like a sore thumb like dear god
During the map where you have to mine your way out of the flood, there tickets scattered around like coins, except more rare, you should know you found it when you see it, also other NPCs talk, when sprayed, snowballed given roses etc, gnarpy being the rudest of the NPCs some NPCs having relationships with others, like pest and poob (party noob) which is a case where poob just genuinely wants to be pest's friend but he finds poob annoying, or how wallter and mark, dont like each other, or gnarpy hating every NPC in the game and giving spud serious trauma and brain damages, In the subway map, pest and poob have a 50/50 chance of showing up, same with gnarpy and spud in 2 stud camp, certain NPCs can kill you under annoyance or anger, also 1 specific NPC can steal coins from you,
new gnarps design looks great! It looks more alien ish and war general ish aswell, the style is pretty similar to miche and the prototype, ps they changed it because the origin creator of gnarp groomed little kids ):
on the camp floor only one of the 2 npcs can come in the elevator which is either spud or gnarpy so if you don’t see spud come into the elevator before the ufos appear than you got gnarpy . there will always a be a npc that enters your elevtaor on that floor
On, I have found 2 tickets in my life, you need to find them in mine, they spawn randomly and other people can take it just like the other ores, so I highly recommend private servers, the tickets are green transparent ores and, (obviously), with a ticket inside of them, they are very rare.
How to get tickets: In certain floors like that one floor (Idk its name) where you have to mine and find that air pocket, you can sometimes find F tickets buried inside one of the cubes and that’s how I got mine. I don’t know if there are any other floors with the chance of F tickets spawning in there, I only know this floor. Also it’s most likely you’ll find the F ticket somewhere near the air pocket. Also the new gnarpy redesign is extremely mid
You get tickets from that mining level where you mine to escape the water, you have a chance of finding a ticket in the stone that will make the stone become rainbow
