What a clever chap Dan’s brother is, 😂. Seriously though, incredible studio, particularly considering it’s all self built. Have you guys ever thought about all getting together, creating the one stop shop! Ruth family in travel, Dan in filming/editing, Paul Teaching and Touring Pro, Joe The Pro - The Written word, magazine man, General club tinkerer/builder. Damn it, why not just buy a little golf course somewhere, and all move in. All bases are covered. The Marvel Golf Team, every avenue covered, and some tidy players to boot.

What a brilliant studio, not just a place to bash balls but safe too. Well done Paul. Normally we just see Paul as Mr must make but it is great to see more of his personality. It is very easy to think of Paul as the great player as he is but we as watchers only get a one dimensional view of people. Enjoyed the chat between Paul and yourself today, I am happy that I was wrong, I thought Paul was just a machine😂 but today I see something very different

Such a good job by Paul, and as you both point out it takes a huge amount of planning, even a 'basic' cage, mat, projector set up needs a lot of thought and you still need to make compromises. I spent a year planning a garage conversion and a year building out and get to spend a lot of quality time with mates as a result. I still tinker and upgrade bits and pieces a couple of years later. If you want to do a feature on amateur builds around the UK, maybe sharing experiences and tips, and pass near Bristol, you are welcome to have a look around.

Fascinating Sunday show. Paul showing off his secret side. As well as being Head Pro, Manager and green keeper at Ivybridge golf club, he builds practice areas to what looks like a top quality standard, especially the hexagonal lights over a very high tech putting green. That brings me on to his new putter. His 43rd life changing putter that we have seen on the channel in the past 4 years!! How he has the time for all this plus kids and life in general. Must be the Hendricksen gene. Both of you always working hard. Loved his final bit about coaching and watching amateurs and the way they play. Give him a chance with OMP from Golfmates handicap and brain. That would be interesting. Vets, who have played for years never cease to amaze me. They play 3 time as a week and consistently play well Look forward to seeing more

Well that was a bit different! It was really nice to see a side to Paul we don’t really get to see on the vlogs, he’s normally in game mode which is also a credit to him as it’s his job. Top skills on the build a lot of thought and planning went in to it to make it the best and provide a constant platform for every golfer that uses it. Well done Paul top job fella and hope it takes off and goes well for you. Dan top work again 👍🏻

Kudos to Paul. Often wondered what he did for a living besides play golf. The studio is amazing and to have done it himself is extraordinary. I’m building a golf simulation system for my home and would like to know the dimensions of his, what size screen, where he got it from, the projector he chose, and the wall panels he used and where he purchased those. What a great experience that would be for anyone lucky enough to be in that area. Paul your approach to coaching is a refreshing outlook. Concentrate on where mental aspects or course management before any major swing changes. Fabulous facility, what talented individual.

Nice work Paul. Looks awesome especially the two pace putting green. 👏🏻 If we were closer I’d get my son in to see you. I’m making him watch this video as the last few minutes are so true about managing your way round leading to improvement. I just dropped him off for his medal and he was videoing his swing in the net during warm up. 🤦‍♂️ He’s obsessed about how it looks, but will be telling me later how he tripled this and doubled that going for the Seve recovery shot rather than taking his medicine or not flag hunting when it’s not the right time.

Set-up looks great. I have a Mevo+ with pro package and face impact and I love it. We’re looking at having a house built in Hua taking Hin and I plan to have an outside building set-up in a similar way. A proper man cave with my golf simulator centre stage.

Morning dan what a great studio Paul has built. And also the fact he has a little 9 hole course too,if I was younger and had the space and money it would be something I would like to build. And I agree with Paul that you have to have the best of both indoor and outdoor places to practice plus all the equipment to help you out. If I lived a lot closer I’d definitely be interested in going to Paul for some help as I obviously need some work to my game as since the pandemic I’ve gone from 5.3 to 11.8 in my handicap and yes I know I’ve got older and more things bloody hurt now,but I also think it’s to do with my mind of keeping calm. As I can usually know how I’ve hit it wrong but it’s getting it back to where it should be

I loved Paul's philosophy on having a good swing and course management,I'm not quite on my game for the last year and I don't think I'm striking the ball any worse and short game normally pretty tidy so must be course management or maybe it is my lack of ability 😂

A real insight into the legend that is Dan's Brother. After watching the vlogs that he's been in on your channel and actually meeting him once at Carden park, Paul is usually a man of few words but the way he spoke about this project was infectious. We were treated to another side of the man who on the golf course is the silent assassin. Very enjoyable 👍

Brilliant vlog guys, I think I might have to try and persuade my wife to a move to the west country...got to say it's a really well thought out plan for a training facility for all standards of golfer and 9 hole course to boot... Hope Paul's back gets better soon it's never nice and as you get older it tends to bite a bit more often...

Great job on the studio Paul that's just how I'd have it tbh. Nice finish 👌 That chat at the end about improving a golfer is so true. I joined a club last year shooting horrendous scores whilst having lessons. Dropped the lessons deleted all RU-vid tip videos. Started to manage the ball around the course and my scores dropped drastically I'm talking 10 shots a round. I always knew how to swing a club it wasn't my swing it was trying to hit a 300 yard bomb off the tee when it was always a 4 iron in the middle of the fairway then a mid iron into the green 😁 Best thing I ever done was play 3 rounds with just 5 wood 6,8,pw,56 and putter. That got me placing the ball on the course 👍

I would need to find out a way of filming it myself Fraser, I would absolutely love to but the video would not make enough to pay someone to come out and follow me around. I have tested the water with this and got Jordan to film my rounds in Pro Ams but it’s just not viable. I know this mindset may frustrate you and 2/3 years ago I had a few more people willing to help film this type of content for free but those days have gone. Filming it on my own to the standard I want would take too much time, holding up the field and I would focus more on the filming rather than the event.
