We met these guys in Winfield Kansas in 1973 and invited them to headline our fledgling Telluride Bluegrass Festival, a game changer, and now Sam Bush has played on our stage for 50 years. Magic. Bravo the Fall Creek Band who did the trick. RIP Freddie.

4 of the best that ever played music in the bluegrass class of music. They took it to a whole new level that others will be trying to get to for years to come.

was on a ski trip to Lake Tahoe when these guys were first starting out and they were playing in the lounge of one of the casinos. Sat there in amazement every night and listened to them. Incredible muscians. Wish they were still together.

John Cowan (lead singer) auditioned for Wynonna's band in `92; she said she didn't want someone who could sing better than her in the band.

When this song was released Heavy Metal bands started contacting John Cowan about singing lead because his voice was so powerful. His heart is in Bluegrass. His talent could take him anywhere he wanted to go.

They are to acoustic music what Queen were to rock: A foursome of unbelievable talent that changed their genre.

I don't think they have ever done as well as they did during this time before they went seperate ways. They where truly magical as New Grass Revival.

Always something my ex wife said about this song that is perfectly true. It is like 4 minutr prozac be cause it"s almost impossible to be depressed when you'red listening to this.

I'm not into bluegrass so much but these guys really rock. The Dixie Chicks are great too. Both bands helped pull fans of other genre's to bluegrass/country combo like no other bands have.

This song is proof that when people say Country sucks they're talking about MODERN country.

Amazing. These guys are awesome. Too bad they didn't stay together. So progressive for their time. The Cowen, Fleck, Flynn, & Bush iteration were the best NGR of all.

This is one of my NGR favorites..... I lost a few of their songs a while back ...Thanks for reminding me to add them again !

I love how all the others are jamming out like rock stars and Bela is standing there like a machine. A butt kicking banjo playing machine that is!

I'm not a huge fan of 'videos' of any kind. But if you were going to introduce someone to bluegrass music by way of a video - this would be the one.

@vidfreak32 I love this, and have since it was released - there are plenty of talented people making every genre of music. On top of that, I see & hear a LOT more integrity in metal these days than in country. Three words "Red Solo Cup."

Tremendous talents, one and all - but Bush's showboating and scene-stealing got on my nerves then, and still does now.
