Yeah I was thinking the same thing, especially with how it forces you to make clever use of otherwise unnecessary mechanics like deflecting projectiles or using the ninja grab and slam on the stars. With a bit of tweaking, this looks like it'd be a super fun fight, and I honestly now want a game that has bosses like this, Kirby or otherwise.

@@perrykv7312 I can think of multiple attacks that'd likely just ignore that. (Reality-Warping Black Hole, Dark Laser, Shadow Cut, Dark Spark, Ice Hammer, Dragon Flare, and Sword Frenzy) Also you can't even hit him most of the time while crouching.
I just noticed something. At 2:34 Magolor drops a cherry, similar to how Magolor soul in the true arena drops an apple before he gets absolutely crazy. Coincidence? I THINK NOT.
Ok, I’m actually curious if the hitbox for the sword attack is changed. Cause in OG, it was always one side was safe, then the other, and then under Magolor Soul. But considering he’s farther away, it makes me wonder if the bit of of the sword is smaller, or even how it works cause at times it looks like he’s not even trying position himself near Kirby during the attack.
@@RobbertRobbert12345 actually the only boss Kirby has canonically REQUIRED help for was 02 because of the Crystal Shards. Every other time the help was optional. In Magalor's case specifically it definitely was alone.

As much as I love the difficulty of post game Kirby Bosses, I would love if they had secret Super Bosses that were actually stupid hard, like KH3 DLC boss hard
The funny thing is that is this possibly a reaction Magolor may have had given that he thought the Master Crown would just give him power and not corrupt him to be an evil, reality-warping person.

watching this was just amazing. considering that i never playtested it it's just crazy to see the amaunt of skill that can be put in a kirby game. cant wait to make the deluxe version!
@@spencerfair7505 i don't know tbh. There is some script in the game that tells the boss where kirby is on the screen relative to just the boss, but i don't think it can be tweaked to tell the spikes where kirby is relative to them. Though i did something similar to what you're saying in my newest mod, where magolor ex spawns spikes right below the player right away, instead of spawning a portal first
Honestly I think the intro to this boss is cool and fitting, instead of him slowly transforming he just bursts to reality in a bizarre fashion with an attack.
Some of these effects I wish were in the actual game, especially the screen shaking when he teleports. After all, what you're fighting is merely a shell with complete master control over the fundamentals of the universe.
I'd honestly be down for that. Shit looks incredibly difficult to beat but even I felt satisfaction when I saw the death animation in the video. And I ain't even playing.
Actually this is how they would fight in our perspective but we're playing as kirby so his perspective is easy mode cause he is the elder elderitch horror that can defeat gods easily
