As for the fuel consumption, you can get down to 1.6 L per 100 km in city, if using the engine braking a lot. I deliver food for Wolt and I regularly hit 1.6-1.8 after a shift.
Thanks for the review! Very biased somewhat though. Yamaha would be my first choice too, but Honda has better, faster engine, ride quality, storage is WAY bigger than Nmax (which doesn’t even fit one helmet). Honda PCX is most popular 125cc for a reason…
I just got the new 2022 pcx 160 here in the USA. it has rear drum, no ABS, no keyless ignition, no hazard flasher switch, no auto start stop...But the new 4 valve engine is powerful. Top speed 85mph and gets almost 100 miles per gallon. The seat sucks (hard as a rock)😫, rear shocks are very bad!! only comes to the us in color of white with black side covers. They even left the tool kit that is under the seat on most bikes out. But i like it, handles great and fun to ride... just don't hit any large bumps in the road!😬
I have been really enjoying watching your vlogs/road tests etc. I am waiting for delivery of my new PCX 125 and have viewed your video several times now and I have to say that besides being full of all the most important info the production of your films is superb, well done keep the content coming, thanks Derek
I have the PCX 160 with dual disk brakes(Japanese model), but I prefer the previous drum combination brakes where you could brake with only one lever. I've tried the N-max before, and the riding position felt basically the same as the PCX. I went with the Honda because you can adjust the angle of the handle, and it has more storage room under the seat than the Yamaha.
@@bodol4d2 Just like a normal motorcycle. Remove the screws of the cap that holds the handle bar and rotate the bar. Don't forget to adjust the brake lever angles. With the N-max, you can't do it without modifications because the handle bar is covered entirely.
Hi Your other Review with the SH 125i which i thought you would have liked Was not over Positive ,B,ut I new in my Heart that The Honda SH 125 was for me with a better spec than the PCX 125i But it is a personal choice after all ,Love my SH 125i with the Honda Screen Hand Guards and Country Lanes .West Midlands England
Hello Eric, yes, all a matter of personal taste in the end. That's why there are so many different types of scooters and bikes out there. I am glad you're enjoying your Honda scooter. Wish you all the best of luck with it.
@@TopTechTrendsX I've been using the nmax for a couple of months now and in my opinion nmax is much bigger, smoother, more comfortable looks more modern. The pcx like bit better build quality, more maneuverable in city traffic and more economical engine. So if you are only in the city pcx, anything outside of the city nmax. But try to at least sit on both and feel what is more comfortable. All in all I would have to give the win to yamaha.
I clicked on the thumbnail knowing 0 about this channel. When i saw that Graffiti of "Custodia compartida" at the beggining, I recognized Málaga. BTW at 1:47 the carnet needed to ride it it´s the B.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fsGpROXKLrA.html And also the Asian vision Honda PCX in black glossy shiny looks more attractive and elegant. The European model in matt black we are getting in Europe looks like the paint is unfinished job 😔
@@BenalRida reducing costs...I really don't need a 350...for my only with the 125cc it's ok. I need a motorcycle for short commutes and some leisure... what do you think ?
I think you will find, that honda as styled the pcx to feel like a small motorcycle then a maxi scooter, hence the look of the handlebars and being able get on just like a motorcycle leg over the seat. I also think you like the nmax because it looks more like a maxi scooter! It's all down to taste!👍
@@BenalRida last year I purchased a kawasaki J300 maxi scooter, and did not get on with it so I returned it. Now waiting for the new pcx 125 in the UK, can't wait. All the best.
@@BenalRida I really didn't want a bigger size bike just something to get me around town! And the pcx was my first choice, but couldn't get one new in the UK.
Still using drum brakes on the rear tires? Even though in my country already using disc brakes, around 160 cc more power and cheaper price (around 1766.37 Euros if converted from Indonesian Rupiah / IDR around 30,350,000 for the standard variant). But overall the reviews are pretty good and don't forget to review the Nmax 125, which is an Indonesian product that is sold in Europe. Thank you.
Hello Paul, have you watched my video about the new NMAX? (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PvWzE7RNB2M.html) If not, please do so. Personally I like the NMAX better, from the design and from other things I like better, like cockpit, connectivity, ABS in the rear, for me better seating position.
@@BenalRida Hi! Thank you so much for the reply. I tend to agree with you on all of the points you made. Pcx is perhaps engineered slightly better and has more storage, but nmax is definitely more spacious for taller people and new model has great design. I did watch all your videos. Thank you for your work. 8 did just put a deposit down on the phantom blue one. Will have it in a couple of weeks. 👍😊
Hello, as far as I know, traction control does not have anything to do with locking up of the tire. It is ABS and there is no ABS on the drum brake. So it only has ABS on the front wheel.
@@BenalRida im leaning more on the nmax because of the rear disc but the 2021 instrument lcd display looks more outdated than the 2016 version I find. I liked the older display better.
@@ROTANETA Hello, well, in the end it all comes down to a matter of taste. I just like the looks of the NMAX better, plus for me the seating ergonomics are better, the colors of the NMAX look better and the NMAX has front and rear ABS with disk brakes.
@@BenalRida thank you very much indeed. In Turkey , 100 euros difference selling price . That's why i can not decide easily. i am agree with you nmax looks like better than pcx. remaining 2 questions for me. first , which is important for me, how is suspension of nmax. the people using namx says , nmax's suspension harder than pcx. and secondly, fuel consumption of them. is there a big gap ? finally bonus question :)) is , which one is more comfortable for acceleration, seat and suspension comfort on highway ? i mean traveling intercity (appx. 400-500 km road range).
Hello ROTANETA, yes, the suspension is a bit hard on the NMAX, but that's similar with most scooters. I am not sure about the fuel comsumption. My 2015 model NMAX uses 2,1-2.4 liters. I felt more comfortable on the NMAX.
The only thing I dislike about the pcx is after a few months of use the bike starting to make some squeaky noises when accelerating 10/10 pcx had this problem could be something to do with the drum break
@@bodol4d2 I had it checked, they fixed it, and it came back after 2 days of riding. They say it ain't a big deal, so I live with it. But it's there. Doesn't bother me.
