you can remove the stabs and clip and tune them so that theres no rattle. also did you lube the ktt white kangs? they pop more when lightly lubed, also try to get foam to put it in the case, and also get masking tape and search up the tempest tape mod
That seems too advanced for newbies, he’s trying to show the difference it would make if an average newbie just swap to these switches 😂 not the guide to make their budget board top tier
im actually glad that he just tested it on a stock keyboard just because its so hard to tell what the switch would actually sound like when you put it in a keyboard thats ALREADY BUILT TO BE THE SOUND PROFILE
Just got a set on FB. Replaced some red because most of the reds already sound decent, MAN do these sound good stock. Can't wait to build another board completely with Kangs
switches aren't the only influence to a keyboard's sound - next time, try to add case foam, do a tape/tempest mod, lube or mod in some way your stabilisers, and consider a change of keycaps. the sound of your keyboard is only as good as the worst part of it, so doing these things can definitely help.
are these switches loud and clicky because I’m trying to find any switches that have a deep and rich thock sound that are on a budget. If you know any switches pls tell me. 😭
@@MateoPalmerioI can clarify - the guy that uploaded the video (I’m just gonna call him, “the guy”, to make things easier lol), stated that he didn’t add any additional foam, ON TOP, of the foam that ORIGINALLY came with the board. It seems as though he’s telling the truth in regard to what he is (technically) saying. He is not saying that there is NO foam in this board (because there clearly is) - rather, he’s simply saying that he, personally, did not add any foam to the (“pre-built”) keyboard that he purchased. You’re correct, in the sense that the board sounds foamy as hell. This (“this” - meaning, a large majority of “pre-built mechanical keyboards”, utilize multiple layers of foam) is the norm. It will continue to be the norm, at least for the foreseeable future. That said, “the guy” didn’t even need to add any additional layers of foam to the board, as the current “layout” was sufficient to, “get the job done.”
Bro used a pisslow sound quality for the red switch and uses a good one for his "ultra cheep" switches so even without doing anything at the start it’s rigged
I was too lazy to record it with my mic and sync the audio, and it's my video so I get to do whatever I want with it, if you think it's rigged, stay mad or make your own video :)
@@oreopuppies6411 bro you were lazy to sync 2 audio together for a RU-vid short got daim and also lil bro start crying and telling me he does what he want like I didn’t knew I just said it was bad
Don't talk to me about lazy, I shot and filmed the whole video Dumbo, I'd like to see you try doing half of what I did, but you're probably too lazy to even start :P
