This is the best looking IS so far, but I'm really disappointed to know that my '05 IS350 has the same engine as this. I love the 2GR-FSE.....but it's been so long, I would've thought there would be an upgrade by now. Just like the 2UR-GSE. There needs to be innovation. Plus the Interior is almost identical bar the new Infotainment Screen (touch as well, which is awesome, get rid of that atrocious Lexus Pad in the center console) with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
I have is250 2006 and it is perfect, it is the best car, it feels like a king. I can drive how i want. It is silence, it is tiger. But now you told which you have much-more-most perfect new one. I want to feel the new one's comfort and power and lux and etc 😖. 🏎🌪 @a.mukhtarli
This is an embarrassment for Lexus. In a class where the Tesla Model 3 has finally succeeded in dethroning the BMW 3-Series, this is not the car that Lexus should have put out. This "all-new" ("all-new my ass) IS is stuck in the past and barely a step forward!
@@marcinb7349 Irony? Isn't that technically facetiousness. As much as I love my hybrid RX450h, I personally believe electric is the future of the automobile and I love my Tesla Model 3 Performance. I don't see why Hydrogen and Electric can't co-exist, but personally I'll continue buying electric cars for the increased efficiency, lower cost to charge, and convenience of home charging. Unless someone (car companies, petroleum industry, or third party) start installing their own hydrogen fueling network across the world (like Tesla's supercharger network, or Ionity, EA, Fortum, etc. chargers), I don't see hydrogen cars taking off.
This lexus build quality and design makes the model 3 look like a Nissan Sentra with an iPad stuck on. Cost cutting minimalism with abysmal build quality and non-existent customer service is not a benchmark beyond a novelty that exploits herd mentality. Tesla pioneers technology but the globe is unprepared for mass adoption of EVs due to infrastructure and supply chain limitations. This was the right call for the time. If lexus went EV the supply crunch, interest rate environment and dealerships markups would make it unaffordable.
