If the camera command doesn't work for you, it's because you first have to enable it from the game options in the "Experiments" section of the Game Settings menu. Guys if you want to learn how to set up “dynamic camera angles” that change depending where you are in the world, I made an unlisted video with part 2. You can find it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-h7tNjsLt2Ho.html P.S. The camera command is currently only available on Minecraft Bedrock Preview
The past week this has completely changed how i make mega builds. Being able to quickly zoom out and see if the palette, texture, size and anything else looks good is revolutionary for bedrock. Thanks!
@@OrcaSpiderJayGo-to creator and enable copy coordinate ui then goto keyboard and mouse and scroll to bottom, there you will see 2 new shortcuts. In mobile you can copy it using chat (top center of the chat)
@@ConclusionC001 Mods are unofficial, have less reliable support, and require a less stable modded client to run. The existence of a mod doesn't satisfy the desire to have features in the actual game.
i've always had the idea to do a topdown camera rpg on minecraft, so this is INSANELY COOL also theres like a billion possibilities with this so yea this is amazing
probably way harder to implement there, but definitely possible :) i think because the code base is pretty old and never had stuff like this in mind, it would probably take some rework od old code
@@sorae42 I think it is more the combination of Java getting more things, and that Mojang has said that they want to stop support for Java at some point in the future
thanks, man I was going to remake my favorite game in Minecraft because the camera command came out, and I tried to learn it through official documents but i didn't understand but you came in clutch thanks man
@@TheRedEngineer hey! I was wondering, can I make my angle not go through blocks, because it always whenever I don't set up the angles for each place. It always goes through the blocks. Can I make it so that it won't go through blocks?
Finally, bedrock got a new amazing feature! Now I bet java players gonna cry about it's not being in java, especially after reading comments on this video If seriously, it's actually sucks. When java players getting a cool feature, bedrock players just shutting up and watching. But when bedrock getting a cool feature, java players begging for it and saying "How's it not in java but in bedrock bruh". It's actually sad that java players literally bullying bedrock like "It's bedrock who cares" or "I clicked off this video after hearing you saying "Bedrock". As bedrock player, I'm actually feeling sad for bedrock that people hate it, especially after hearing stuff that I meantioned earlier :(
yea that's true i dont understand it, plus they have so much mods it's so much easier to do there, it all just comes down to shitty microsft though literally being the reason most stuff is the way it is.
@@justunutherhyoominoid exactly. Java players already have a VERY advanced mods (create mod is an example), while bedrock's add-on's is not so advanced. Christ, we can't even fully recreate stairs and slab, I'm not even talking about blocks with custom UI like new crafting blocks, etc. Custom BIOMES were broken SINCE 1.16 or something. It's 1.20 now, and they're still broken. It's still impossible to add custom dimensions. It literally feels like mojang doesn't care about bedrock's modding community. But whatever. I'll still stay in bedrock community, simply because I want to stay with people who wants to prove that bedrock is not that bad. I just like bedrock more after all, so
@@andel1184 i agree with your comment on every point except mojang, most of these faults are those of microsofts, especially if you play on xbox, if you didn't know they bought out mojang, they disabled the ability to acces your xbox files, download thing via microsoft edge on xbox and more just to get rid of any mods so you have to do it in an extremely complicated way. i believe the worst thing that happened to minecraft was microsoft being introduced.
@@justunutherhyoominoid so it's basically almost impossible or just incredibly hard to install add-ons on xbox? Damn, I didn't know that. That's sucks. I mean, I know that Microsoft brought out mojang, but I didn't know that they basically left xbox players without add-ons. And I also agree with you that Microsoft was introduced is not great. Like marketplace in bedrock, etc. I mean, you can find a pretty high quality content on marketplace, but it's kinda rare. Anyways, I can fully agree with your comment. I'm just glad that I can talk with someone about this topic normally. Unlike others...
@@andel1184 yea you cant get them without another device which i dont wanna do and its just generally annoying, they onky did it cuz they were losing sales on their fucking retarded little marketplace, they saw us getting pretty much S tier mods (even if they're not on java's level), but realized they're not getting money, so they disbaled downloading from microsoft edge on xbox, then we used an app of a broser to bypass it, then tghey disabled access to file making it impossible to do with exclusivily xbox. TLDR: microsoft money hoarding load of a shit company mae bedrock player have to pay muns
This brings so many adventure map/story map ideas. I actually can't wait to see what the community does with this also, you could prob recreate minecraft dungeons 👀
I've wanted to make a map similar to what the view is in the beginning of the video.. forgot what the inspiration was because it was like a year ago.. but I can finally make it
I think if you ever mess up you can always have an copy paste of, /gamerule commandblocksenabled false In order to stop it It's just a theory maybe it would stop updating the prespective but the prespective stays there I guess you can do another to fix it from there
I can see so many uses for this. Custom maps, video making, or just checking if your mob farm is working. Do things like mob spawning and simulation distance calculate from the player or camera position?
Can you please make a tutorial or command for first person perspective camera height? Like, I want to make the first person camera slightly lower than a regular player's first person camera
Fnaf maps are about to get interesting. Especially when taking into consideration that modding has been removed in a recent update of bedrock. So its up to the market place,or command block creations.
Wait you can make sucurity camera's with this command just make a sucurity room add buttons command blocks under or behind the buttons and place in the diffrent locations of the "camera's" and then you've got working camera's without mods and ya know just add somthing behind the camera so it looks like a camera as well(you can make fnaf without mods now in bedrock all you need is a texture pack and done).
This is actually sick, is it a way to make the Camera circle around the player and not in a straight camera, like when you're using the /camera command and want to goes backward the camera is still looking at the straight vision and does not follow the player head by rotating the camera automatically
Are you able to set your first person pos higher or lower? I have an addon where i can shrink or grow but the fp camera doesnt follow. Ive tried thewe commands myself but couldnt get it to work. Yes ive enabled it in experimental.
I’m currently using this command loads in making an escape room map for a friend (it’s amazing!), and this has helped me so much! But quick question: I’m currently using this for the cameras, and at the moment I’m making it so that I hold an item, and it brings my camera to it with [hasitem={…}], but I want to make it so that I hold an item, and it shows the view of the player. I’ve tried using ‘execute at (them) as (them) run camera (me) set minecraft:first_person default’ or ‘…set minecraft:first_person ease 0.1 linear’ but that does nothing… any suggestions? Edit: I’ve also tried just doing execute as (them) at (them) run camera (me) set minecraft:free ease 0.1 linear pos ~ ~2.2 ~ facing ^ ^ ^10, making it go above the player’s head, which is doable, but it looks terrible from the head blocking half the screen, to the nametag glitching out, to it even clipping through the ceiling in a two block tall room!
11:30 i understand if you accidentaly paste this to your command block and your camera stuck at 100 just do gamerule sendcommandfeedback false so you can back your true camera
Yes that's what i was thinking to, only thing is you have to use the clear command effect to get out the camera effect which is a problem not like there is a button at the bottom saying exit or something
What is the camera positions for the classic "mario" and "zelda" cameras. I want to make a links awakening like game in minecraft where it has both those cameras.
So I'd like to ask, how do you keep the pop-ups from showing like chat? I've been experimenting with this, and I've noticed that with the repeating command blocks, pop-ups continuously show up and don't go away. But with you, they're not there. How do you do this?
if you don't want that the info what the command block is doing is the hole time in you're screen it gives an command for that it is /gamerule sendcommandfeedback false
I was wondering, is there anyway you can rotate the camera while the player is still in first person? I presume not and I’ve tried but I was hoping someone else would know.
