Need an addictive game, i miss that feeling where, when you're not playing, you're thinking about it, strategies, stats, weapons or just excited to get back to it 😢. Cheers SwitchUp!
Warframe is a hard game to get into the good meat of, just due to the sheer amount of time it takes to get through a lot of the early game and really get a feel for, but it does have that effect once there. Also free to play with a unique twist, the only f2p I really ever enjoyed. It's also 99.99% PvE which I much prefer the co-op aspect of. Builds/strategies galore. If fast-paced games aren't your thing tho I'd steer clear of it, it gets very fast-paced once you get into the meat of it...which will provide take a minimum 50hrs to do. It's kind of a diablo 3 meets borderlands meets destiny mashup. Constant huge updates expanding it as well
@@anthonyjenkins2001 it's an online mmo game, but it is PvE (player vs environment) so the enemies are AI. It is very mob heavy, so you're killing hundreds of enemies at a time once you get good at it. Some tough boss fights too, and most of the game modes are infinite so enemies just keep spawning in through the levels and they're enemy levels will just keep going up as long as you can stand it before bailing out basically. Most everything in the game can be acquired by just farming and not paying real money for it too. Sorry for the rant lol I haven't played it in a while honestly but I've put thousands of hours into it so I'm fairly familiar with it still
What I love most about SwitchUp is not only the great reviews and showcases, but your voices. I've grown very accustomed to the way you guys sound. Always a great way to grab a cup of coffee, relax, and watch your videos. Keep up the great work!
Star Wars Hunters was a big surprise, I started playing it on Sunday and I'm loving it despite not being a big fan of multiplayer games. Great video SwitchUp, hugs from Brazil.
I’d say Paper Mario, and No Man’s Sky look the most interesting. Added them to my wish list to grab once my backlog clears out a bit. Currently playing Tunic and Deaths Door.
I cannot fathom how much SwitchUP has helped me throughout the years. Every time I think of a game that fits my needs, I simply go to this channel and end up buying exactly what I wanted. This channel is straightforward and will tell you if there are issues with the game, if it's a steal, or if it needs to be played. This is arguably the best channel for any Nintendo Switch content. Not only do Mark and Glen provide us with quality, top-notch content, but they also continue to engage with their community. Long live SwitchUP, and may there be more content to come for us! 💗
I was addicted to Lorelei and the Laser Eyes from start to finish. Great story with a mystery to unfold. Surreal presentation. Challenging logic based puzzles.
Still completing my Tomb Raider I-III Remastered play through. I think my next purchases will be Sea of Stars or possibly TTYD depending on what’s announced at the next Nintendo direct to add to my backlog.
Been afraid to start Animal Well yet because of Splatoon 3 splatfests and events. Splatoon 3 was a game I didn't think I'd like, but can't quit playing it!
All of these games look like a lot of fun, but recently Monster Hunter is what me and my siblings have been playing almost non-stop. I have even been able to take on a Valstrax at hunter rank 5 thanks to their help. 100% Would recommend the game, it is amazing.
There was a time when I was playing Mario Tennis Aces daily, clocking over 100 hours in the end 😯 The game is so mechanically sound, and when you'd find another player of a similar skill level online, the matches were action-packed, end to end, and a lot of fun. Very addictive 🙂
I relate with the struggle of pronouncing Xuan Yuan Sword 7 lmao! I pronounce it like "Shoo-an Yoo-an" 🤣 Anyways, this is definitely the one I'm most excited for. As an action RPG fan, I've heard about this before but now that it's releasing on Switch, I'm going for it.
No man’s sky has been on my wishlist for a long time 😊 but for now I have to put value on my recent purchase of My Time at Sandrock, I’m trying to focus on one game at a time! But it’s hard 😅
@@SwitchUpYt I like it. It’s cheap and addictive. Has that quick load when you die. To me it’s a cross between super meat boy and Celeste (does not have the frenetic pacing of the former).
Vampire Survivors has been my most addictive game a for a while, my son and I play co-op and have unlocked nearly everything in the base game and all DLC packs. Such a great game and great value for the price - go buy it!
Another Crab's Treasure. I SUCK at souls-like games, but by just switching off the mechanic where I lose all the currency when I die, it's suddenly made the game massively more accessible to me, and I absolutely love it. I'm fully invested, can't put it down!
Animal Well has been my new obsession for the past couple of weeks. My wife has been like “when are you gonna finish that game and start being a husband and father again?“ My daughter tells everybody at school that I fell down a well. Hahahaha! But, seriously it is a pretty spectacular little game.
No Man's Sky, absolutely addicting. It gets me in a sort of relaxed, almost drowsy state , and the feeling of being alone in the world adds to the beauty of it. I might be the only one who does not miss multiplayer 😂 Cheers guys!
Xuan yuan 7 looks pretty interesting, I'm looking forward to eventually getting a chance to check it out... waiting until i finish morbid, hopefully it'll be on sale by then 😂
My backlog has just become a back-library! 😳 It's great you get to game with your daughter. Cherish that time cause they grow up sooo fast. My son's in college now and doesn't have time for his old man but those memories of our gaming time are the best. Love the channel and keep up the good work!
Thanks @SwitchUp… here’s me sinking endless hours into Minecraft Dungeons and you’ve alerted me to a new Vampire Survivors DLC. I almost thought I was going to see sunlight this month… 👻
These games all do seem interesting. Imagine Earth for that 'Civ 7 got announced' hype, Xuan Yuan Sword to finally live out one of my beloved cdramas, Paper Mario to follow my current SMRPG playthrough... And the Lands Beneath to follow up a journey through the Lands Between in Elden Ring???
Star Wars Hunters - you can use gold coins for a very limited amount of things in the shop. Totally agree, I haven't put it down. Play docked or on an ipad pro (2018) with all settings on full, 60fps using a switch pro controller.
In the new star wars game, there is a grand total of TWO items to buy with the gold coins. Being a blue skin + weapon for the character locked behind the battlepass
I got my switch with points from my last job. I was a merchandiser for a beverage company. Our incentive was a point system base on our sales. With my points I got my nephew. Brother and me a switch. Growing this backlog is extremely fun and enjoyable. Late to the party. But worth the dive.
Not new, but Man-eater was on sale and I pulled the trigger. Not a super long game, but swimming around eating things is surprisingly compelling. I've been very tempted by Image Earth and will probably get it as soon as there's a sale.
I've somewhat gone back to playing Mario Odyssey at the moment (trying to be a completionist with all the little collectibles and moons). But, I usually am drawn more to indie games.
I only started watching your videos about 3 months ago and I have to say I really enjoy the content. It's refreshing and informative without it feeling forced or fake like some other channels out there. I also really enjoy the review scoring format which allows for far more accurate scores being given to games.
Star Wars Hunters is the sort of game that landed just at the right time for me. Currently, there is an extreme heatwave in Greece, where I reside and gaming on a big screen TV is just not on my to do list (while surviving the heatwave is definitely a priority 😂). Mind you that overuse of airconditioners always brings the occassional power sortage and I'd rather protect my current next gen set up. Thus, Star Wars Hunters is the way to go or simply put "this is the way" 😁 It has that 'Animal Crossing rocks during the quarantine" vibe for me, at the moment.😃
Xuan Yuan Sword - you got the pronunciation right. It was a huge hit in Asia back in the 90s as the first Taiwan RPG with ancient Chinese story setting. The mountain climbing game is an eye-opener, amazed how this can be turned into a decent game. Looking forward to the releases of Monster Hunter Stories 1 and Moonstone Island. They will keep me busy till the end of the summer.
Insurmountable looks like such a new type of roguelite! I am loving the look and gameplay style!! I never got to play the first 1000 Year Door im so excited for this remake, everyone saying its great. Ahhh Animal Well just looks so adorable and scary at the same timeee! Xuan Yuan Sword 7 is top of my wishlist rn, basically all of these games were great to highlight. Ahhhhhh! Great Video as Always Guys!(:
Thanks again guys, I was unsure about Insurmountable but after your description Im definitely going to get it. And also thanks for the reminder of Star Wars Hunters as my kids will definitely love playing that together. Im a cosy gamer mostly these days, and I can't seem to out down Lemoncake. It's very addictive and cute. Cheers Guys 😊
A few of those are on my wishlist, and as soon as I break my absolutely ridiculous addiction to Balatro I'll pick up one of those, but...I don't see that happening any time soon. Just one more run.
I know I've found an addictive game when I'm playing it in my sleep 💤 🎮 😴 It's usually when the gameplay becomes muscle memory and I start dreaming about it. 😅
But what if I want to win a copy of Star Wars Hunters, Mark? 🤔 Nah, I’m just messing about. 😂 Though Insurmountable looks really interesting to me, so I’ll have to add that to my wishlist for later. Great video as always. Cheers, Gentlemen
Ooh wow Insurmountable looks fun! I love replayable games. I just today finished Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, too bad other games from that series aren't on switch
currently I'm quite addicted to ys 9 but if we are gonna go by hours played mh rise is the most addictive game for me... just something about hunting large monsters and gathering their materials to make stronger equipments is very appealing to me...
I climbed Scafell Pike (the HARD way!) in my youth... It felt great to be OFFICIALLY the HIGHEST person in England! (Twice, if you include new years eve 1997)
Love the look of Imagine Earth and the Mountain climbing one. Imagine Earth the art style looks fab, but not sure how I’ll get on with control in handheld. Mountain just reminds me of Summit boardgame which is top 10 for me so proper excited to try that. Shocked Star Wars hunters is actually good?!?
I love several of these games, and have been on the fence about Insurmountable. Might have to check it out. Also, fwiw, you're actually pretty darn close on the pronunciation of Xuan Yuan Sword 7. Seriously, good job!
Thanks for bringing attention to the game the lands beneath us ive been looking for other rouge like games on switch currently im playing back again wizard of legends

The Lands Beneath Us does a good job mixing up tactical and action mechanics. Really interesting!
I played the land beneath us demo and it was pretty interesting, how you choose and upgrade your weapons and stats, its pretty cool. Not that much variety of weapons, but idk, i just played the demo :P
Hello SwitchUp Your videos are the best in the Switch sector. I am a loyal viewer of every video ❤❤ I love playing No Mans Sky its so huge and endless thats what i love
Vampire Survivors is on sale right now for AU as far as I know. Would you recommend it to some who played majority of it in the free trial or is there not enough content left. I've unlocked 6 levels from memory.
Currently playing The Binding of Isaac Repentance. It's almost all I've played the last 3 years. Came here to get out of this rut and consider something new to me. I have plenty other decent games but always come back to Isaac.
No lie Star Wars hunters is good, gives me those obvious overwatch vibes where 30fps translates well as positioning holds weight over twitch reaction. Really vibing out in ranked. We’ll see how long it lasts but for now it’s a def blasty blast.
