@@uhhrodney boost for boost, yall still cant whoop em 😢🤣 only american company that can is dodge, and even which dodge doesn’t last long.. and obviously corvettes. Muscle for muscle which the camaros aren’t touching mustangs, im sure theres a few that can. 20 years and still whooping yalls ass, lol. Never seen a maro zl1 or even a 1le walk a gt350r or a gt500, but obviously would walk the Gts and ecoboost models
@@THAPOKEPINBALLERI have a hellcat Ram and ‘24 Tesla model 3 I LOVE both, but the Tesla is a first class rocket ship 😂 and it’s more American than my Ram
That's what a turbo can do for ya, however pushing that i4 past 380 hp will make your engine hell unreliable and will most likely ecoboom, the eco is not a car you want to mod that much if you want to keep the reliability and the great mpg.
@@elnewbie2611 Naturally asperated cars at elevation are hindered. So at a mile high, ecoboost will have most of their power and coyotes become dogs...
I know, tech has come along way. My Mercedes has a 1.3 Turbo mild hybrid in ot that they share with Renault and Nissan and it makes more power per liter than a Ferrari F430 yet it's just a normal car.
That GTD would be a great competitor|comparison for the Porsche 911 GT2...mostly look wise, but i bet it's still powerful enough to smoke it in a drag race. 😏
The GTD is a feat of engineering for ford, it has the transmission on the axel for 50/50 weight distribution and insane suspension, they are supposedly going for some sort of record at the Nürburgring
Im a track tester for roush performance. I've had the pleasure to drive these S650 prototypes, and this coyote is really something special. I hope that all of you here can experience the craftsmanship of these v8s. they are genuinely so fun to drive. (yes I've driven the GTD, its a little too much power though..)
For those who do not know, which seems to be most RU-vidrs and mainstream car magazine drivers, the Dark Horse does NOT have the same engine as the GT. It is a 307 with a forged rotating assembly, built tranny, and half-shafts. It was originally intended to come supercharged but Whipple had to pull back at the last minute due to some tolerance issues. Ford slapped a GT intake on it and released it anyway. If you get a Dark Horse, you have a BUILT CAR. Supercharge that motherfucker immediately. It will NOT die.
The performance plus package on the eco boosts have 340-370hp depending on the year and trim. Not to mention it is likely one of the most reliable I-4 engines ever produced. I have 153k on my 2017 performance plus with an after market fujitsbu 38mm twin scroll turbocharger, a down pipe and a remap and it doesn’t even have an oil leak. I’m genuinely surprised at how good of a car it is….. other than the front end suspension components 🫠
Yeah Ecoboost one's maybe not charismatic as V8's brothers but this coupe definitely not empty bunch. l hope that Mustang being good road friend for you fella Allah bless you and he careful👋🏻
I used to hate mustangs, but now that Chevy and Dodge are going politically correct, I think I gotta hand it to Ford for keeping the American muscle tradition alive. Mad respect. I look forward to buying one someday.
I bought a new 1978 Chevy Z-28, I think it had around 175 HP. It was a chocked down dog. I never thought I'd see the 60's-70's HP hey day's blown away. Incredible HP in today's car's. 800 HP? Unbelievable!
I have only only owned mustangs in my life I had a an ‘04 v6, then swapped to an ‘04 GT, then moved up to a ‘14 GT, the. Finally settled on my ‘16 GT, and I never had any problem except a fuel pump go out on the ‘04 v6. Mustangs are very reliable and I will forever be a mustang fan
Honestly, I might just trade in my charger for a Mustang, it seems like the more budget friendly alternative in terms of muscle car and they just sound sick af
You forgot to mention the 25-30% drivetrain loss on a RWD car which is absolutely horrendous. The new vision of the coyote engines are only making 340-350ish wheel 💀💀
Far cry from the 1985 I had, to make that kind of power from a non boosted 5.0 took ALOT of aftermarket parts. The thing would barely idle from the huge cam you'd have to put in it.
My personal goal is to order my very own GT Premium customized my way. Not when I’m 50, 60 or 70. When I’m young. I want people to be surprised when I say I bought it. I used to own a 2008 V6. And tbh I really miss that little red bastard.
Glad to see Ford is still in the Game instead of relying on that EV SUV thing they made. Now only if people can stop crashing them at car show endings.
The entire auto industry has pivoted to smaller 2 liter turbo or super charged engines due to the emission laws coming down the pipe..and they have some amazing engines. Ford's Ecoboost engines are insanely good...and there are lots of mods you can add to get over 400hp on it.
Ford keeping the V8 strong. This is the reason I'm going with Ford for my next truck. Can't believe ram stop the V8 in their 1500 models. Thumbs up to Ford and GM for not only continuing to do the V8 but to actually come out with another generation.
They haven’t removed the Shelby name from the Mustang lineup. It will just come later on in the future as with all the previous models, they’re still hope although I’m not too sure if they’re bringing the GT350 back most likely the GT500👍🏽👍🏽
The S650 Mustangs are sick!!!!!!! I got to toy around with a brand new GT with the performance package and was blown away by how on point everything was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gata give ford credit there mustang is the 1st muscle car and the most consistent one that’s been around the block since the beginning that’s still relevant and tops all other muscle cars for less and with most aftermarket support and consistency!! 1 of my favorite cars ever!!
I wished they would have built a convertible for the dark horse. It's the only model without the convertible option. I went on the Ford website to costume build my very own. I'm getting the Ford mustang "gt premium" V8 convertible in bubble bee yellow with the peanut butter interior and black racer rims. I'm stepping out Clean this summer😅.💪💯
