I wonder if Eubanks was familiar with Betty White. They had seen each other on a few episodes of Trivia Trap, but for her days on The Golden Girls? This program was shot at Sunset-Gower Studios in LA and so was The Golden Girls.
This 1985 show was more in line with the original ABC run from 1966 to 1974--suggestive, but far less sexually explicit than the late '70s syndicated version.
John...when I talked to one previous Newlywed game contestant in the 1970s a while back, the soundproof room was full of mattresses in the 70s version. Was it like that in the 1980s?
It was great to see both of your appearances from the GSN reruns as well. Little did we know that GSN kept rerunning both of your episodes ad nauseam, I bet Liberty Media did GSN in.
@@cyberbo1960 I can not imagine anyone else doing TNG when Mr. Eubanks passes . Bob Barker , a great host , but TPIR still is popular . The jury is still out Jeopardy without Alex Trebek . With so many of the old game shows a great game host could most many of them , like Bill Cullen , but no host is personally tied to a particular game show like Bob Eubanks is to TNG
