@@russellwright9961 they’re tears of joy lol. I’m happy we finally got a flip screen for the Z6 plus all the added specs. This will pair nicely with my Z8! Nikon is giving all creators options.
This is pretty much the perfect camera for what is needed in 2024.. people seem to forget the z6 was always the more video focused camera but it still has some really Stella photography feature’s. If I hadn’t gone all out and got the z8 I’d be over the moon with this offering.. it would mean I wouldn’t need my monitor which is always a nuisance to use.. my mini tripod could actually hold the camera again.. BUT I don’t think I could go back to 24mp after being on 45.. I’ve gotten used to being able to crop. I wish I was rich enough to have this as a dedicated RU-vid camera.. but I couldn’t justify it to myself (wife).
I don't shoot a modern Nikon, (I'm into the Canon R system) but still got my old Df and AIS, Zeiss, adnd D glass. I'm happy Nikon is getting back in the game.
Mmm….Inhad a bit if a think about this. Expecting to see a stacked sensor, with the existing Expeed7 processor. Then slightly later, drop a Z9H with this sensor, and new Expeed8 processor, for high-action sports and journalism action. Let’s see how it develops, pretty excited at the moment.
Dude, do you how handy this feature is. I do vlog, shoot video and i've been wanting a full frame Nikon with flip screen. Zf is great but not the fan of the ergonomic. I'm sold by this Z6iii.
Yes I have tested the new flexible colour in NX studio, it is awesome, but can’t get the profiles onto my Zf. The camera won’t read them. I believe a firmware update will be required - how long this will take is anyone’s guess…
Another home run from Nikon. They will sell millions of this new body at this price point. For the price and features you get, is amazing! The waiting list will be a few years for sure
We can really see the full capabilities of Nikkor glass in all its glory in this video. Great job! it's a breath of fresh air for real seeing these different premium lenses render images like no other!
Returning it. Don’t like the grip on this body and the AF/subject detection is seriously having issues. May be just a one off or a glitch that’ll need to be fixed but my Z9 and Zf perform way better in subject detection. Nikon needs to try to replicate the D750 grip in the other bodies. That grip is phenomenal.
Thank you. As usual, a great presentation. I do have a question. First some background. The Nikon Z lenses do not have a focusing window readout on the lens barrel (feet and meters). I looked at the Zf and its viewfinder does have a slider that runs across the bottom. But, it does not tell you the actual focus point in feet. Now, for my question. Does the Z6iii viewfinder display the actual focus point in feet? This may seem like nit picking, but if your trying to set the hyperfocal distance for landscape or street shooting, this kind of readout is important. Many thanks.
I really want to get this camera so badly, I really want to upgrade my cosplay photography to a new level 😭 hopefully I’ll be able to save soon or hopefully there’s a giveaway!😊
yes better than the z6ii but mostly mostly marketing talk as not 1 of Nikons sample images on there own website is sharp, or maybe they just need to get there samples from a pro, don't waist your money just buy the z8
The Nikon Z6 III is a great package and performs above Canon R6 II and Sony A7IV level but the price in Germany is currently a bit too high to get buyers attracted or interested to make the leap.
Please tell me the NX studio and cloud options are coming to the Zf!!! Given they both have the same Exspeed 7 processor I might cry if they don't extend support!
Why are you crying over this? I don't understand why some are moaning about 24mp not being enough. If that's the case, go buy the upcoming Z7iii. There's also the Z8. Why must every single camera cater to you? Not everyone wants high mps. Unless you're cropping heavily or making billboards, 24mp is enough. I'm sitting here, looking at an A0 print I shot with a D7000 & an 18-105 kit lens. That's 16mp. And here you're crying about 24? 😂
You'll most likely have to wait for the Z7iii. I'm glad Nikon didn't go haywire on the mp count on this one. Not every single camera has to be high mps.
You’ll be impressed! The Z6III is built with an efficient heat-dissipating design! You’ll be able to shoot continuous 4K UHD/60p for up to 125 minutes.
Nice camera but you move it to another price bracket, now what is the z5 ll will be bumped up too? Look at Canon and Sony they have great tracking with lower end cameras, when is that going to happen with Nikon?
This nikon has a fast sensor but is poor in dynamic range, A7siii still competitive after 4 years. I'm curios what camera model will launch sony after this nikon model.
Because it's not a hybrid camera...a7s3 is a trash compactor still camera ..it only Excell at video which the z6 3 matches if nor better in some areas ....Dr is better in post not through janky test
generally speaking autofocus of Nikon cameras is not that great when using ad high F-stops (like f8 and more) in an indoor ambient with not too much light Typical situation of flash photography You absolutely have to improve it,! it could be enough to simply use the lens to widest aperture and not in stop down when focussing in AFs
8:36 “20% faster than z6ii” *When using NIKKOR Z 24-200 at 24mm… so that only applies to this lens at 24mm focal length??!! 10:25 pre-release in RAW & JPEG? I heard only JPEG…
@@loriphillips7902 my pleasure. I'm speaking under correction, but I think you can indeed change the focus point border. That's the red box on the 'outside' of the actual focus point. Almost sure I watched a video where another reviewer adjusted it. Think it was Jan Wegener or Manny Ortiz.
