Could Notion Mail be on the horizon? (unconfirmed!): either way: loving the potential of Notion Charts - what's your favourite of these features? 📣Watch this video next for my top 5 Notion Use-cases! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fDcU9BLMG_8.html
Would be great if they could do the extremely simple thing of repackaging Notion Calendar for iPad OS. It takes literal seconds to recomp a universal Mac app.
Notion keeps amazing. I think it would be perfect if Notion would release the ability and/or app something like Notion Notebook, so you'd be able to create pages that you can draw notes and mind maps and all the things you want on with some cool features like Auto transcription and math. Another one I'd love is a dedicated Notion Tasks App where you could make Notion an actual viable Taskmanager.
Totally agree! I think I've achieve the second! Check out my latest Task Manager template: It get's close... bettercreating.lemonsqueezy.com/buy/405d8738-11b4-4303-9bb4-a5289443ff55 but ooh, a task app integration from Notion could be super cool!
If Notion puts time tracking and video clips (like ClickUp) the I'll switch in a heartbeat. Site publishing is legit for sure but the biggest part is native time tracking for projects. I know you can custom create these things for time tracking and time tracked but if that was native...it would change the game.
Notion will never completely 'beat' an app dedicated to project and task management, with a team of professional developers dedicated to that purpose, such as: Asana, Clickup, but for an all-in-one than can approximate, say, 50-60% of what those specialized apps can do, it can work for you. Plus Notion can do a whole lot more, nothing as good as a truly dedicate app for a single purpose, but a Swiss Army Knife, Jack of All Trades.
I set the enterprise system up at work in notion and I recieved a video from the Notion team"A summer of updates" in the video when it features charts it clearly states July 31st when it's going live so 🤞it's only a couple weeks away
I'm also very excited for the upcoming native support for charts. I'm considering getting one of the paid subscriptions, but I'll have to see how good the native charts in Notion are. As a longtime Excel user, it'll take quite a bit to impress me with charts. What would really push me over the top would be support for pivot tables!!! Now that would get me to subscribe in a blink of an eye -- provided that the pivot table I'd be able to create are similar in power to those in Excel. I'm keeping my fingers across. 🤞
I don't see the need... what a can of worms and support headache integrating email would be in Notion, I would think, Notion risks severe feature and code bloat if it keeps taking on too many features and slowing itself down, already not as fast and lean as it could be.
Finally we are going to be able to have dashboards and KPIs natively !! Also something not talked much because not visual are the big improvements made on the backend structure of Notion. I would appreciate videos on that even though it is more complicated and we have the blog posts .
I really love the new features of notion I have a good luck that I have the educational plan on it that give me with my classmate a plus plat it so useful for as as student for collaboration and sharing files .😊
Hi Simon. Big fan of your channel - thank you for what you do. I've bought some of your icon packs and am now for sure going to buy your LifeOS. Do you recommend I buy the one on your website and then upgrade to the new one that is soon to come out? Or do you recommend waiting? Thank you so much!
I'm waiting for insert and update statements in the databases. Not just "add a page" but "add multiple pages" according to a query. It would be also great, if it's possible to update databases with a single statement. A user then can use the button for triggering the inserts and updates. Hope that features are on the notion roadmap.
Hey mate thanks for the video, good as always. I think something is wrong with the colour tho as you looked washed out a bit so guess the colour grading was not bang on this time.
Coda's had charts for a long time. Now if notion can completely redo their formulas like coda so they're actually intuitive, maybe I'll use it more. It's funny how ya'll wait SOO long for features
does anyone know if anyone actually is more productive using Notion? or their productive time spent adjusting Notion instead of actually performing at a higher level in tasks they need to perform outside of the tool? I personally have spent many many hours trying to set up Notion for business objectives, only to delete what I've started and begin again from the start and end up down a rat hole. in the meantime I could have created some spreadsheets and been highly productive and not wasted my time perfecting the spreadsheets The way I wasted my time trying to perfect Notion.
I hear this all the time - and it’s can be so true for so many! Getting past the build phase can feel long and frustrating and lead to people feeling like they shouldn’t have spent the time. But I can’t tell you how much more effective my work is now with the custom Notion system working for me. I hardly do any building / set up on it and it has streamlined my workflow no end. It helps that my business has become making templates for that too! But yeah - 1-2months building and tweaking / learning it whist working, 3 years using it: pretty good I think! :)
