I get more of a 'punished free world' vibe. With most of human civilization under the grip of fanaticism, engulfed by misery, those few places where freedom remains are not just shining cities on hills. They are furious, roaring insurgents, conscious of the only thing more monumental than the burden they bear is the opportunity they have to vanquish what can only be described as pure evil and build a new future. Millions of young men, organized, armed, and confident in their cause. The torch is held by a fist, and that fist is strained. But it won't let go. There's too much to lose, and too much to gain. Young people in the free world today have a great deal to admire. As our hollow political class continues to cede global influence to Chinese genocidal technocrats, Russian jingoistic oligarchs, and Iranian suicidal theocrats, we can only wish for ferocity in how we approach the world.

There are no good guys on politics and history, it's all grey. Buuut i think, based on the modern day education, that the O.F.N is pretty much more desirable than National socialist or Burgundian system powers.

NATO to many seems to be inactive and kinda unnecessary in a post-USSR world. the OFN however in TNO is more active in countering the Reich in combat like in South Africa and Indonesia etc. It has a clearly defined enemy (Germany) rather than NATO's loose "anti-authoritarian" position against countries like Russia and China (?). Also helps that the OFN is countering the most evil nation-state in human history, Nazi Germany, whilst NATO since 1991 has been countering mainly Russia and random dictatorships in the middle east and sometimes they do things in Europe like with Kosovo, which aren't nearly as evil as nazi germany (tho russia is absolutely disgusting) so not exactly the heroic torchbearers of democracy and liberty the OFN is in TNO.

well, NATO is an alliance created simply to counter the spread of communism and NOT aimed at supporting small democracies. Just a military bloc that "supposedly" protects against the "aggression of evil imperialists" and gives control levers for the USA in different parts of the world. OFN is an alliance that was created by the USA against the backdrop of growing empires around the world and is trying to somehow help preserve the independence and principles of democracy in smaller countries around the world. Yes, in fact, this alliance is an empire, but unlike other empires, it has many differences and OFN does not work quite like other military blocs. Firstly, the OFN almost never set up military governments in other countries (such as Japanese cliques in China, German Reichkoms in Europe and Africa, etc.) but gave self-determination. The government could sign the New York Charter, according to which the representative office of the country (as far as I remember) can vote and participate in the activities of the alliance, in fact, joining it and receiving guaranteed protection from the United States and more or less strong members of the alliance (Such as Canada, Australia and New Zealand, England in some cases). Secondly, OFN is not only a military bloc, but also an economic and more diplomatic one. The more developed members of the alliance help small countries with their settlement and stabilization of the administration of the country, as well as economically, by providing a certain amount of investing to stabilize the economy and for its independent work in the future. At the same time, the country does NOT become someone's puppet regime (as happens in the Unity Pact or the Japanese sphere), but completely retains sovereignty and just depends economically (or administratively) on the alliance for the time being. In the Sphere or the Unity Pact, such countries become simply a slave to the GDP of the hegemonic country. Actually, NATO cannot boast of any of this, although it advertised itself during the Cold War and after it, following a model similar to OFN.
