hahaha... Also, FYI, the Premium and Luxury grade GX 550s DO offer a 3rd row, but it's very small. It's just the Overtrail that, for 2024 at least, deletes that feature, which is something Toyota has done before with off-road focused models. Cheers!
3rd delete keeps price down. I got the 2 row LX570 recently and paid less than I would have if a third row would have been present. But yeah bummer if u want the overtrail and 3rd row.
Can't speak about driving yet, of course, but I've driven the V8-powered 110, and the Defender is a little nicer in terms of materials. Infotainment systems are equal. Probably a better sound system in the 110 I had. I'd give visibility for the driver to the GX. But the idea of owning a Land Rover product out of warranty is terrifying.
@@ktpinnacle yes. Good system, not great, not as good as the Defender I drove. Given the two choices, I'd be happy just sticking with the 10-speaker base system.
Yeah, I can't wait to learn more about that. However, it's unclear if the GX's hybrid is going to be the same one as the Land Cruiser 250 (and Tacoma TRD Pro), OR the one from the Sequoia. Based on what's coming out in China, it appears to be the former. But I was really hoping to see the 3.4L V6 get more juice in this smaller-than-the-sequoia package
