The new Paladins Patch is "here"... and its questionable?

I don't think the update is bad like at all. All reworks are a step I the right direction. And not like. "it's not there yet but we will manage to get there at some point". More like "we are already there we just need to arrange the place a bit." The reworks and buffs took away a lot of useless stuff and made them more i'tresting. And while it might not be balance rn it's just a few number tweaks away from being good.

I think I'm the reason Willo got that glide buff. Dev read my suggestion on Twitch about giving champions with wings glide passive because it just makes sense.

questionable ? It's a very good update. Listen I know you have to critisize everything since that's why you do these videos but at least give them credit they are trying. And when you just keep critisizing every thing the devs do it kinda hurts them.

The only thing I like from this update is the return of survival (since I didn't get a chance to play it in the old days) and the classic maps in custom.

The damba change makes him heal more, but it hurts his utility cards like movement speed and DR when healing with mending spirits

Koga with claws will still work with Trigger scent lmao

What’s the difference between giving fernando aegis into his base kit making him both a good off and point tank than just simply buff his off tank kit to be again, a good off and point tank? The results are the same

This patch looks amazing, so many things we been asking for years like Aegis on base kit, anti CC for Raum, more flying for Willo

Also the reload card after teleporting goes past the 60% cap so... What's the point in having the card any higher than 3?

I think he answers himself a lot more than he thinks. Dredge example, ammo vs reload speed. It's literally up to play style.

Good video overall, pointing out how overblown this "big" patch actually is. However, the part of not getting Koga's new Passive was kinda hilarious: "The energy meter now has a proper name and explicit description (instead of being just implicity reffered to by the abilities that consume it)" is not rocket science, you were just too pissed off to understand that paragraph.

There is no Commendation Frame for 2023 xD. i liked the Commendation Frames very much (i have 1400 commendations...)

Aegis isn't that good but if feels mandatory. I'm so sick of waiting 12 seconds for a shield just a khan stunned me and I choice to play a fun talent. Folding in a mandatory talent into base kit so they can have talent diversity is good when it works! I play Seris, they gave her void abides base kit cause she needed AOE healing, they gave her agony base kit cause she needed utility & agony sucked, now they gave her mortal reach base and now she feels like she has 3 different talents that are actually interesting.

I could not play for like 6 months due to servers and my internet not liking each other and now that i finally can the game feels like its going in a weird direction, imma feel sad if it shit down but i wont be surprised. This patch is questionable at best

I watched theechibis video on this update and oh my god, was he full of shit about it. Not only is this a abysmal update,it's bassicly recycled content,the thing overwatch is renowned for doing with skins and game modes. They didn't fix the core issues,they buffed wicked strong flanks like koga again but now he can't get value off shields(why wasn't that in game a long time ago? Idk) the maps are still awful and symmetrical which is gives a lack of mobility and positioning. The characters are still stuck in a Mets limbo with nyx,victor,Skye,koga and either seris or io and with a game with over 50 characters and over 3 million play styles, WHY WOULD YOU MAKE CERTAIN ABILITIES AND CHARACTERS META! not one Skye doesn't go debilitate not one buck ever strays away from bounce house, mothers grace inara is a pain in the fuckin ass and fusillade drogos is mildly worthless compared to his spit fire or wyrm jets! This game does not need to be so damn slow and mediocre when there's another game that's doing what paladins does gameplay wise better and that's overwatch,when I say gameplay I am strictly referring to in game movement and damage and burst and map knowledge, everything else paladins does better in spades. We don't need damage reduction as a item we have damage reduction cards we don't need nimble as an item we have speed cards we don't need damage reduction or healing amplifiing talents those are basic card stats that can always be added. The talents need overhauls and the characters need to have identitys becuase for God sake what stoping me from playing Vivian if there's victor or Tyra? What bother playing strix when kinessa can do damage and teleport? In short. This update killed my hopes. I love this game to death,my reddit for QOL quality of life changes for paladins was deleted and now the updates are recycled. I am beyond depressed now...

They fixed 3 maps brought all they detailed back blut sense this is paladins keepers review and title will always be negative but this was overwatch wouldn't say one bad word
