Great video! I have mixed feelings overall on them. Obviously the animations really need some work. I like the updated hairstyles overall and hope to see them add even more styles and colors. It would be nice to have even more customizing options like the ability to change each aspect of the face and sliders for different parts of the body and height (probably a too complicated thing to ask of SSO though...) Edit to add: also not a fan of their cheeks either. They often look rather baby-faced still like they did in the beta. I'd like to see them have more faces that better represent teens and even adults.

Yeah, I would've loved more customizable characters (give me the sims watered down SSO xoxo) but from my understanding, they didn't add that many body types because so many of their players are on mobile/older software that couldn't handle a bunch of different body types?? I'll be honest, I don't know how much I buy into that excuse because not even my computer can handle SSO half the time. Regardless of if they can even add more types like they say they can, I really think the biggest contributor to poor performance remains with their game engine.

This update looks so RUSHED! It’s sad because it had so much potential. Also, why do the characters’ legs not fit inside the stirrups of the Gen 3 saddles? It looks like the characters were ironically optimized for older tack as opposed to the newer tack. SSO fell short on this one. 🙃

tbf it's a game based on horses so you have full rights to be picky ha ♡ used to play when younger with all those free star rider codes religiously but it still looks so cute to play
