► The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is an asymmetrical horror experience based on the groundbreaking and iconic 1974 horror film
Gun set out to once again put players in control of some of the most notorious names in horror. This time around, we brought the whole family.
Authenticity is a vital part of what we do here at Gun. But that authenticity runs deeper than just Hero Art. For The Texas Chain Saw Massacre we didn’t just recreate locations and characters, we recreated a whole time and place in Texas. Crafting an updated and inspired game score based off the iconic sound design of the 1974 original film would be no simple task. Have a quick read on how Gun approached this and the haunted noise box that became a major part of the score

I think the well would work as being able to go to the well and end up on the floor below. Example: if I’m on the third floor and I use the well I could end up on the 2nd or even 1st floor

I think that the wells will drop you on different floors, you can have one go to basement, another to the second floor, that sort of thing. I am also interested in that big tube with a 90 degree bend that you see in the picture, looks like a possibility of a well that you may have to crawl through before dropping…I can’t wait for the updates over the next few months

I think 90 degree tube could be like a well except it drops you down IMAGINE though hitchiker can enter it’d be unfair in my opinion if killers are able to enter etc cos it’s our last get away

It crossed my mind that there's a possibility of victims spawning at the top and getting out through ground level. And maybe wells will just go to different floors. Idk though. I'm just excited for something new since I'm still loving the game

Purely from speculation I think that one portion of the map that matt is referencing could be linked with marias body OR it could be a new execution spot for leather face instead of the classical hooks.

I'll be waiting until then for this map, we'll see how unique it will be! For now, Alan Wake in DbD releases tomorrow and after this week, then we got this update coming up so we are getting close!

I wasn’t expecting this map when they announced it, I heard everyone talking about cemetery. So I’m wondering if a cemetery will be incorporated into this map and thats what they were referring too as the part players might like. In the way that on the (not sure if it was reliable) but a leak of maps said junkyard on the list, I assume is what ended up being Nancy’s house since her back yard is called Junkyard. Who knows lol, I’m just excited! I seen someone made a video about the cemetery map where they suggested it could have a funeral home or church. Lots of potential, I’m loving the lore addition to the original film, it’s been so fun.

You're going to use the well in there to get behind lock rooms. But the family can use a key to open the doors. That's what I think. And new hidden areas you can only go to with a well. Maybe leather face have to cut down stuff so the family can enter it too. But you can go there by jumping down. And short cuts too

I came up with the idea and assume that the wells will be on different floors and when you jump down a well it may have different paths that lead you to different rooms on different floors!

I love this game, but unfortunately I abandoned the game months ago. It is a wonderful game, but not having the option to play OFFLINE makes it a horrible experience. Every time I came in to play, players also came in who knew the maps, exits and so on perfectly. Therefore, instead of being satisfying to play... it becomes annoying and stressful. Good game, but not having OFFLINE makes it inaccessible for beginners and for those who want to play without players who believe they are more than others.

As a non Sissy family main,. I just want Sissy to be useful. right now having a sissy in the team means a less efective HH since sissy's poison is really not as useful as his traps, and HH can Shimmy like Sissy and has a perk to allow him to shimmy faster than Sissy. also HH does more damage .. Sissy is great at collecting blood but in the current rush meta with the perk that reduces grandpa by 2 levels per shank she is not that useful . plus most Sissy players do not even use her as support but as a wanna be Johnny with full damage.
