It is wayyyy to big for a tutorial sorry, the redstone’s area takes up like 600 blocks and then that’s not even including it’s height like it’s just huge lmao

Is it possible to add a door to the elevator that closes for the floor it's not on and opens on the correct floor or would it get in the way to much

I think you could add a redstone block to the side of the slime, and then when its at the top have the block power the doors open, and then when its at the bottom have it power open then, i wont make a tutorial tho since it takes the 'simple' out of its name tho

How do you call the elevator if its down and your up and the other way around (just incase someone pressed the button without getting into the elevator)

I didn’t show it in this video cause it’s not exactly ‘simple’ you could either watch my other realistic elevator video, or just link up a redstone line from the bottom to the top, then top to bottom etc

Can I ask, you've shown how to do a lift between 2 different floors but what do you do if you want to have a lift going between more than two floors?

@jamiewilliamson9829 it depends what you’re looking for, the new one will have a call function, but will be less realistic. The current one doesn’t have a call function but is realistic

You can’t make this multifloor, but you can add a call function if you want to

Easiest way it just to have a observer line going from down to bottom and bottom to top and connect them to the appropriate buttons

I have a multifloor elevator that’s similar, it’s the lectern one on Yt channel, and I’m about to release one which is also simialr but not as nice, but I don’t do one for this exact elevator because it’d be very complicated
