Not sure if this still works, but people used to make what they call a warp drive by spinning some quantum rudders. It was crazy fast for some reason. That is likely why they do not allow them in the race.
I HIGHLY doubt thats the reason. They likely didnt even think or care about that since so many players on the leaderboards use glitches, but that doesnt mean that it isn't a possibility. The more realistic and logical reason for not allowing them in this style of race would likely be bc allowing them to be used would absolutely defeat the purpose of making the player build an aircraft that performs well in space with zero gravity while also performing well in the atmosphere.
I bet the detection coding is looking for your cockpit. So, landing on your tail thruster is leaving you less space where the landing pad hitbox and your cockpit hitbox overlap
Just looking at it, if you put your cockpit near the back it should help with landing detection. Might hurt your time, but you also don't have to land it either. If you can skim the landing area just right you can then just pull a massive bait and switch turn up to the finish and marginally lose speed on the direction transfer.
Since the planet has air, you can use wings and fins to help with the sharp turn. I used sails for wings to get even more braking. I'm not the fastest, but I got down to 12 seconds
I got it to #6 globally My vehicle has 3 stages for the 3 parts of the race Rockets to get going A glider with a RIDICULOUSLY STRONG airbrake to land And a fuselage of about 15 gimbals to ascend to the finish It was designed to be able to slam into the mushroom at like 200mph and survive. The nose cose has like 20 suspension behind it My best time was 8.05s If i shave off half a second I'd beat Alvaroping
@@frederickthesquirrel i suggest you try lithobraking Put at least 8 rows of suspension between ur nosecone and ur seat And make sure the seat is armored I slammed into nassau at mach 3 and lived with that
hear me out if you have your tale wings in front . the craft will flip automatically when it reaches atmosphere and with dampening in the back it wil absorb impact 👍👍👍
Might a wheel and seat as your lowest point work? that you can skim into the landing zone. Then you have a way of changing angle of your primary truster to launch again.
If you just build something that goes supersonic and transfers speed really well on fast turns, you can skip the landing part. It’s very precise though
One thing that I’ve always wanted to try is make a vehicle that can do a challenge with only the press of a button using like the delays and sensors to have it automatically go
I would try less thrust and more maneuverability and using suspendion to take the landing, as well using the weakest thrusters because they are broken in the space map
I’m not sure if console leader board is different but I just grabbed my a 10 with gyros swooping down so the tail hits the landing point and now I number 20 in space league 😅
Ok your idea yuzi is good but what I did was make a vital its wings got the thrusters on them and when it turns down I can easily go down and it’s fast to also it don’t need qutem Ruders so it’s fast easy and it don’t need no ruders (people can use my comment to put ideas to)
