“She singing the Japanese alphabet” If only you knew. 「The lyrics are actually so clever! The Japanese alphabet is grouped as follows: a i u e o, ka ki ku ke ko, sa shi su se so, ta chi tsu te to, etc. It turns out they can form really nice lyrics about love and sweets! The chorus goes: a-i (love) u-e (above), o-kashi (sweets) shita (beneath). ka-ki (Japanese persimmon) kuu-kke? (eat it?) ko-nna ni mo (there's so much). See it going through the alphabet? What's even cooler is that when they can't make Japanese words, they make English ones! For example: ta-cchi (touch) tsu-te (casual pronunciation of "tsuite", meaning "just after"), to-ruto (a torte) kita (arrived). So clever!」 Saw this comment about it a while back and it blew my mind so I saved it, this is just a paste. 日本語は面白いですね。だからこそ、勉強を始めました。
Another thing I love is that she's singing about sweets the whole time and towards the end, it shifts towards Watanuki and the lyrics are just Watanuki, Watanuki, Watanuki ❤️

The background was painted to be the color of her hair. It’s like the body painted people in stores and things that blend into the shelving but the other way around.

Welp~ ok... But... Narrator: uhmm.. he doesn't know what to say... And i also don't know what to say .. welp my job here is done. Just kidding this guy found this on his recommended too cuz he watches anime clips like clips from Love is War...
Its from an Anime btw: Inu x boku SS they change the endings for every episode if I remember right. I can't say the show is worth a watch, since I didn't really liked it, but others swear by it

The song's lyrics are genius. If you thought that she was singing the Japanese alphabet(Hiragana and Katakana, aka Gana), she's not, well, in fact, it does sound like she is, for example at the start of the first line of the song, 'A i u e o' from 'A i u e o kashi shita'. A I U E O are the pronunciations of 5(10, if you count the Hiragana ones and Katakana ones which have the same pronunciations separately) individual Ganas, so you might've assumed that the lyrics would be those 5 letters, however, the actual meanings of those 'Ai ue o' are actually: Ai(Love/愛), Ue(Up/上), O[kashi](Sweets/お[菓子]). There are lots of puns like that in the song, and I thought some of you misunderstood those so I decided to leave a comment about it.

The Japanese language is such a deep rabbit hole that I literally spent hours going on seemingly endless tangents of grammar and vocab trying to figure out what the hell this meant. Mostly on the first line. *_The first fucking line._* I love it, would 100% recommend.

I'm so glad this popped back into my recommended feed. I been jamming this since 2016. Plexi is a god of music. Anime music remixes keep me going through the hell of my daily grind working 14 hr shifts. I also have got a whole Transport Depot of blue collar worker guys jamming to this on the graveyard shift, blasting this out the 2 12 inch subs I got installed on my Big Rig hauling B Doubles.
Ngl this isn’t the type of music where people can just vibe in the street in full blast but it is pretty chill when ur alone or when it’s played in a clothing store.
Did you guys know that this is by Kana Hanazawa, the same artist of Renai Circulation? Edit: alright I know I worded that like a question but I meant it as more of a statement so yeah lol
No i didn't know that, you are the only person in this entire universe who has heard of Kana Hanazawa so I couldn't possibly have known about this fact.
0:47 i just realised this: if you listen carefully, you can hear "se~ no!" like at the start of renai circulation, which is genius because Hanazawa Kana sand both of these songs
