Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream (ソードアート・オンラインフラクチュアードデイドリーム, Sōdo Āto Onrain furakuchādo deidorīmu) is a game developed under the Unreal Engine, which will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. It was announced during the Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase on February 21, 2024. The events of the game take place in Galaxia, a new system capable of making players relive the past as if it were real. The game has two distinct ways to play. The Online game, and the Offline game. The Offline game focuses only on the original story of the game.

They revealed that there will also be a sort of "Free Roam" mode where you go in by yourself and can explore the map and meet people who are also there.

When the sword golem lights up the arena red you can stop the attack by breaking all the legs your team did that both times thats why you were confused when nothing happened.

One thing that i really like is tge way loot is handled, with you definetly getting a weapon for the played character, and on top of that for different chars, and then just creating builds around certain weapons, with really high rng potential in the weapons

A motion cancel is like a cancel in fighting games but in this game it has diminishing returns.. sometimes it can be noticeable sometimes it might just be less invulnarability frames. *pushes up his glasses*

P.s. u can motion cancel using abilities to stop the ability but there is a slight delay so it's harder to perfect doge or block while doing an action. I used to exploit animations in the older games to do stuff you shouldn't be able to do 😂😂😂. Like flying from one end of a zone to the other in online quests i. Pretty sure im the reason that delay exists now 😅. That one was super late game in hollow realization. And I dont think I even beat the second Alice game

@@gamerbeast3616 because it makes sense for people who are outside the SAO universe. Friend and I played it and it was fine but we had no attachment to any of them. He even wished he could be a guy with dual guns. So I kinda get it. Also, with their given system, I don’t see why they wouldn’t allow for it. It seems very possible to sneak a custom character right there. (Or at least allow the current characters to also be other characters)

I can say for the community that at least half the players would an open world SAO that you can make friends and fight bosses with your own unique style.

My only issue is no custom characters if it’s locked characters as how tf you going to play multiplayer when 98% of players are picking and only playing Kirito like myself. Idk if there are any other characters I would vibe with in the game.

It felt really nice but got somewhat repetitive rather quickly. The characters do provide new experiences but they have to add new co-op quests for further improvements. Also wish my teammates could successfully preform a counterattack. . .smh.

@@tiamat7208I felt the same way at first but once you get used to it, it definitely becomes a lot more "smooth" not literally, but you won't feel like you're stuck half the time lol.

Some people have been sooooo negative about this game like ohh I can’t create my character like Ight son I get it I’m big on self insertion but this isn’t meant to be that. It’s like GBF Relink and could surpass it BUT it needs more content continuous updates and more fluidity in combat like Kirito feels too stiff, not enough cancels etc. but it’s not like horrible. Honestly I love this formula and I think with established characters in an IP as big as this can really go far from manga anime novel spin-offs and gameverse characters. I’ve got high hopes for this game!

honestly, much as i liked Granblue Fantasy Relink i can see it overcoming that as well because the balance at the very end of the game was not good at all. and they removed that cool cancel you could do with Percival, which wasnt game breaking but helped him kinda keep up with the REAL top damage dealers of the game. i feel like they will work on balance a bit better in this game. I also like that there are actual costumes and the like in this game whereas Granblue had alternate color schemes, some of which you had to pay money for.

Stop making comments without thinking. Do grandblue and SAO have the same story or concept. Grandblue is meant to be played using the cast characters. SAO is about a vrmmorpg game where players from the show CREATED THEIR AVATAR and played the game. A created character is part of the freaking plot. Pls take time to carefully rewatch the Sao series to understand what I’m saying.

That man's time has passed. He's happily married, and there are millions of MMO players. Find another schmuck to focus on. Better yet, let us make our own like in Fatal Bullet.

Camera is horrible. Not sure there will be that many viable builds for each character. Lots of little things are far inferior to GranBle Relink as well. I don't think this will do that well unless they rapidly patch to improve QoL a lot.

This has to be one of the worst. Gameplay is fun but no character creation? I don’t want to play as any of the established characters. Have them fill empty spots. Having a MMO like experience with guest SAI characters would have been far more fun.

CC stuck in a world with their own objective . We have had multiple SAO games with the same formula. Plays has kirito with almost the same moves and goals.
