Im excited. Cool unit. I really enjoyed my Losi Mini LST, way back when the diffs were not blown up. Also my Clod Buster. This truck will be fun to upgrade. Cant wait.

The blower is actually called a roots blower and the Chevy pick up truck from 1960-1987 if it’s two wheel drive it’s a c10 and if it’s four wheel drive it’s a k10
Ima Traxxas Fanboy and I love it but FMS offers 2 Speed Traxxas could of atleast matched it there And Im suprised they didnt do a Big Foot 😢 Still a cool lil truck Thanks for the review Always good info 🤙
they have a Bigfoot conversion kit that they released along with the trucks today. part number 9844X. looks like it comes with everything you need to convert a Ford TRX4M body into Bigfoot. so theoretically anyone with a Ford TRX4M can turn it into Bigfoot for $25. I'd still love to see them release a Bigfoot edition of the TRX4MT though.

If they come out with a flatbed trailer to pull this behind the regular trx4M and maybe some skinny tires so that its realistic to how full size monster trucks are loaded on a trailer

@@RcPlayer-tt2vwya the smasher body isn’t the best but I have the fms k5 and that looks damn good and I have the 1/18 landcruiser which is super fast. But barely use it now. I like Traxxas but they fell a little short with the trx4m and this doesn’t help it at all. They should have atleast threw in the high speed gears maybe even a faster motor. I’m sure some people will like it but I’m guna pass. Just picked up a granite grom “for my son” lol
Mark, I know you love your Traxxas stuff, but I have to keep it real and give an honest opinion. Looks good, but way too slow. The Losi beats it hands down in every category.
True Losi parts are expensive but regular usage they pretty much last forever , my muggy has original gears ect but now I have a track drive daily I did wear the diffs in LMT. But talking many hours of abuse tbf traxxas makes good diffs also even though pop metal they last , my slashes are original also , now I go through a arrma diff every month or so or every few months I need full rebuild
The max smasher killed them. They look great but don't perform. My son's max smasher with the $15 upgrade motor has been great. Pulls wheelies and does backflips

Order a blue f150 with the Bigfoot kit can’t wait until they come in and I have a few of the broncos and high trails and I use the yeah racing motors they seem better than the Traxxas motors
I had two Trx4M’s and i have never ever in my life seen shocks that leak more than the Trx4m ones. Rebuilt them about 5 times and they were still leaking when the car was just resting on its stand. Sold them both
My wife and i got these cuz they had the deal. Im finding that some trx4m parts will work with these such as links, pre built injora front and rear axels, servo and some other parts but tonight i tried to put a new transmission mount skid plate and it wont work because the height and 2 long pieces thats attached to the stock to support the battery mount. Any tips or places thats selling the "MT" parts that are more compatible? I have upgraded a good amount but still wanna go all the way through and also got an injora motor 180/32 and also looks like i need to re solder the stock wires to the new motor and that will be something new lol but anything helps. We love these cars and 1/18 scale is fun to play with since i have xmaxx ultimate8s/xrt8s/arrma kraton 8s and more its totally different for sure! Any advice helps brotha
Losi and even fms blow this one out the water. I love my trx4m, it can push 30 pounds and still goes smooth on rocks and fast on the trail, but I put like $600 into it and honestly there are better options for that price to be good and honest.
As someone that works at a hobbytown and has replaced the servo on over 100 less than a week old trx4m's I can tell you that this will be a stock servo eater
They look very nice but it just stinks they’re so slow, I feel like they would definitely have better sales if they were a little faster and be way more fun. I still may get one.
Traxxas seems like they are scrambling for new things, they been dead in the water for almost a year or more they need to get with the program. I'm a die hard traxxas fan and saying this ,I been going to arrma recently
For the price, this thing should at least have bearings and speed gears, now imo the mini lmt for $70 more is a much better value. all traxxas did was make a mini clodbuster.. 🙄
just get a fms max smasher save 50 bucks be able to actually jump and do a wheelie have metal gears in everything bearings in everything a better servo 2 speed trans its all around a better option this thing sucks
I don’t see the market for this. It’s slow as hell; how is it any different from something you get at walmart for $40 if a young kid is going to play with it anyways? Sounds like a cash grab from traxxas, just mildly changing an existing (trx-4m) platform
I don't get the motor sticking out on a monster truck. I like the original trx-4m and love RC monster trucks and honestly this looks like a toy nd from seeing running videos seriously makes it look like a Walmart toy.
They should sell them cheaper so MT Lovers who don’t like throwing money at traxxas can’t resist, most there profits are made from upgrades . And the parents who can’t afford 200 cheaper will increase sales . I bought a 8 channel escavator for 20 bucks unbelievable good , to think we used traxxas in 80s because RC10 Lodi was too expensive 😂now traxxas charges more than pro kits
Any serious RC fan sees this and understands its garbage. The axles are poorly made. The motor and transmission are nowhere near big enough. It's a turd. Not fun. And everyone sold is a customer robbed.
