Here's the prompt that Wes used. Hope that helps. give me 30 semantically relevant but unique topics under the main category of home renovation, and for each, give me 10 different variations of the topic that each address a different search intent. Make it in table format with the following columns: column 1: The unique semantically related topic, column 2: the different variations on it, column 3: an intriguing, clickbait style title.
Thank you Wes for great insights! Here are my takeaways from the video, hope these help everyone: 1- Use AI to generate drafts and topic maps efficiently, but enrich this content with personal experiences and expert insights to make it more engaging and authoritative. 2- Tailor your content to answer specific queries directly and clearly to align with Google's preference for direct AI-generated answers. 3-Integrate video into your SEO strategy to enhance engagement and trust, utilizing platforms like RU-vid, which remains less affected by AI content saturation.
Thank you lots for the information given here to us . I'm opening a new business and been following your ideas and experience to build my website. Keep the good work please 👍👍
Thanks for the great tips. I really have to consider starting RU-vid asap! What tips might you have for creating custom instructions or even a custom GPT to help with the outline and the first draft of the blog post?
I love this. I came across this other tool that does the Topical map fleshed out into pros/cons SEO suggestions and then does up to 9 hub pages and then clusters them. Its saved SO much time and effort!
@@MollyLynnWilliams It's Chadix. He did a deep dive on their fb page earlier this week, to go over what it does and the roadmap. I dont say it lightly but I'd guess it's the future of SEO
Mă simt norocos că am dat peste acest canal! Videoclipurile tale sunt o comoară de cunoștințe și învățăminte practice. Mulțumesc pentru contribuția ta valoroasă!
This video was super eye-opening! I never realized how much AI content can be so bland and generic, and how important it is to add our personal touch to really stand out. The idea that Google is moving towards AI-generated answers is wild, but it makes total sense that we need to craft content that answers questions clearly to get noticed. And I love the tip about focusing on RU-vid! It’s like a goldmine for video content. Can’t wait to try these strategies and see how it all works. Thanks for the tips!
Another excellent and useful video Wes! A worthwhile extra step for RU-vid content creators is to be sure to upload a transcript of the dialogue of their video in an approved Closed Caption format. The benefit is that the search engines can "see" the text of the transcript and that helps with SEO results. Much as voicing the keyword phrase early in the video ensures it's relevant to the user and they keep watching, the caption file can be crawled by the bots to improve the match between user query and search result. Hope that's helpful for your viewers.
Thanks for the video. You provide a lot of useful content. I've learned a lot from you. I am taking notes almsot every time I watch your videos. That speaks volumes about your quality. 😊 When you said, pivot to videos, I thought to myself...how can I do that if I write quotes on my Instagram account?
I’m new to this but learning. What is the point of a webpage when google business profile ranks for most every type of business I search for? It’s always the map 3 pack.
Hello. What is your advice when updating services based on the categories. There is an option to add a service description and price. Will this help SEO in any way?
There you go!! Thanks for this, it's not "dead", there will always be a way to tweak basically anything to do better with it. That's the entire concept of SEO and we might as well claim AI optimization now. Great work.
Hi Wes! Thanks for the video. Do you post that as a blog article on your ecommerce store or just use the generated content to optimize a collection page? I have a shopify store. What do you recommend? Thanks a lot!
Wes if you work from a home office, and only show the city you live in as your address on your Google Business Profile; will that hinder how you rank, even if you're maximizing all the tips you gave in the last two videos that I just watched?
You should've run the smae prompt on GTP 3.5 and shown the output for a comparison of what we'd get for our 4.0 money. Currently I don't see the need to piss away cash that can be used for other resources. The real power is in the user. But then again, I know how to write copy and do research. AI just makes it faster... way faster.
Really insightful video on SEO strategies for 2024! I appreciate the practical tips on using AI effectively without losing that human touch. I’ve been using Plerdy’s free tools to tweak my website based on these ideas, and it’s making a noticeable difference. Thanks for sharing these future-proof techniques! 🌟
Gonna try this out to get me started with video 👍 Feedback on your video: the "whoosh" is quite intense (when wearing headphones), try it a bit softer or higher pitched 🙂
hello I feel a catalog of products in My eBay but the problem is that I have no visits, Could you tell me what information Iber makes available to me and how I can act and resolve this problem? also I wanted to ask you if you use custom GPT, can you link actions with the eBay API? Thanks
Loved this video! New sub. Will be using these strategies to see what happens. I knew video is the way of the future so I'm stumbling through my growing pains and these tips will really help. Thanks!
Dude, @WesMcDowellInc, You forgot "Column 4!!!!!" PROMPT: Given the same parameters as the previous prompt, what would be in a fourth column entitled: "Voice of Customer," based on the results of that previous prompt?
love your content, for a editing tip, in the middle of your videos, could you cut the music in the background please? its unnecessary and a little bit annoying. in the beginning and ending its all right, but in the middle its distracting.
Thank you for this gem. Once we have an outline like this how often should we posts these on our site? Can I do as many as I can per night or spread them out like one per day, etc?
I always think it's much better to build it slowly each day. As you can see, on any platform, if you do too many actions at once, it will make the administrator suspicious and kick you out of the community, and so will Google.
@@WesMcDowellInc so my blog with the proper keywords and longtail keywords is all that I need on my website? I’m new to blogging I see an opportunity for a post and I’m not sure what that meant, sorry don’t wanna be annoying. Thank you so much for responding.
Semantically in SEO means optimizing content for a topic, not just a keyword. It ensures your content speaks the language search engines love, helping deliver accurate results. So, including 'semantically' is about making your content more search engine-friendly for better user results! 😁
Is the "AI powered snapshot" (AI generated answer, snippet, etc) based on BARD? I ask because BARD is not yet available in Canada and I do not see this. So, I'm making an assumption.
Any tips for making these articles less fluffy? Mine keep sounding like a AI wrote them and just stated a bunch of obvious statements. When I rewrite to add my own context it gets flagged for not being optimized…
I think you really should look at the viewer end of the SEO changes, will people purposely eliminate any articles that have that chat got look and feel, I hope that google and youtube will warn you when you come to an article or video that is AI generated for those of us that want to completely avoid anything ai generated. I want a real human when i call customer service and so does everyone else. Larry

Thanks, Wes, and I hope you're doing awesome! I've been thinking about optimizing my online presence, especially on RU-vid, and wanted to get your take on something. As a service provider offering multiple services across different locations, do you think it's a smart move to create a dedicated page or blog on my website for each service and location? I'm also thinking of incorporating RU-vid by linking each service to its respective page. Since every job we do has a story to tell. I value your insights and expertise, and I'm curious to hear your thoughts on whether this approach would enhance the overall user experience and engagement. Looking forward to your input!
No! I'm actually saying you should be on RU-vid. SEO is changing in a big way and YT is the single best way of being found going forward. Watch this to see what I mean: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4j2_sbd2yak.html
Hey man, I love your videos. I have also just started using RU-vid to promote my brand. I have been doing websites for almost 7 years and there is still so much to learn. Hope your channel grows and all the best man!
The whole Ai thing is still in it's infancy. People are getting excited because they can't see too far ahead. Remember when mobile phones were like a brick around 1994? Yet, people were still excited to carry it. Ai content is easy to spot. The GPT programmers seem to love words like Elevate and Unleash. They also trained it to say, stuff like: Product X isn't just any product X, it's a......etc. The thinking is pretty repetitive. Soon, we will have Ai generated music and after a while we will recognise all the hallmarks. The bottom line here is that us humans are capable of much more, when we fasten the seatbelts and get to work. We prefer human content, despite it's imperfections. But were are inherently unwilling to work hard for our success. That's the reason why Ai is perceived as a useful tool. Ai has it's role to play and it should be entirely fit for purpose. GPT-4 once said, it's like maths on steroids.
imagine if wes was actually an android sent from the future to train hopeful entrepreneurs wanting to escape the matrix into ghostwriters for the ai megamind
