agree. all the balls are cold joints, not good, the Iron never heats the pins hot enough. makes me suspicious if this Iron can solder. Normally, you put solder on other side of the pin and a good Iron can heat the pad and the pin fast enough. But if you had to touch the solder to the Iron Tip every single joint, then it's not a good iron. Every solder joint done in video is a cold joint (watch in slow motion). yes you pre-wet tip a little before starting. but with a good iron, you could Touch opposite side of the Pin with solder and the Iron could melt it from heating the pad. I did not see any demo of proper soldering on this that makes it look right. ball shapes caused because solder cooled too fast on the Pins (pins not hot enough). this is why it is best that the pin is touched on one side with Iron, and solder touched on opposite side of pin, it flows when the pin + pad is right temperature and not from touching solder to the iron directly.

The iron is not causing the issue, the operator is causing the issue in this case ;-)

You understand it correctly. The station is the charger for the tablet and for the iron. The app doesn't support multiple irons.
