The New York Staff Band of The Salvation Army presents "Shine on Us" (Thomas Mack) at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Garden City, New York during their annual Children's Benefit Concert, the proceeds of which send Nassau County, Long Island children to Star Lake Camp for the summer.

This was one of the most beautiful renditions of "Shine on Us" that I have ever heard. Thank you so very much to the director and to those men and women whose voices are a true blessing to all listeners.

Tommy Mack, must be part of, The--Mack-Family, of, The Central Square Corps of, Cambridge, Ma. Back in the 1930's my Dad, Clarence Damery, was Band Librarian, and, Truck-Driver for Band-Equipoment, transport up To, THE GROVE, at Old-Orchard.. Bandmaster of my childhood was, George Foster, and I went to Countless rehearsals w/ my Dad... Though I was intended to be a Brass-player; Drum-Corps, won out and I became a snare line member, later on, teaching and forming, Youth Drum Corps well into the 1970's.. GREAT Memories, GREAT Souls..
