Stay for the SPICE at the end! Keep an eye out for the Short later today! (also, sidetone: I will never tell you to DM me anywhere for any type of prize - that is a scam RU-vid still haven't figured out)
Petter McKinnon, honestly I have never commented on your videos, but I think i am ready to tell you that all these years of watching you and learning from you and enjoying everything at the same time, I want to thank you so much for everything you've done to us. You literally opened so many doors of creativity in my mind, you're like a father at this point, you have taught us so much in so many ways, I just wanted to say thank you and wanted to be grateful for the man who inspired so many of us. I hope for nothing but the best for you, my name is Ibrahim i am from iraq, 26 years old, but I have been watching you since my early 20s. Thank you again ❤️🔥
This was a great tutorial Peter. Missed seeing these from you because you're always so creative with it all. Combining all your knowledge into short videos and showing is what and why. Love this.
I am so impressed with your videos lately. They really blur the lines between you having fun and creating, while being informative for us, and featuring cool things and people. Always inspiring and I think I will get a turntable for my product shots!
I literally shot all of my products b roll on the turn table since i started my content. They are really useful when you know how to get different angle from them. ❤
Getting back to what you used to do! I really liked this video Pete. Educational, really simple but helpful suggestions… just good stuff all around. Thanks!
650+ videos, 5 years of epic learning, and not a single dull moment - that's the Peter McKinnon experience! You've got a real gift for delivering information in a fun and engaging way. Thank you for taking us on your journey and sharing your knowledge with the world - you're a true gem!
Peter, you are one of the most creative photographers I have ever seen. You inspire thousands if not millions with your work including me. I have been able to learn and grasp soo much from your videos going from not knowing anything about photography, to getting paid for my work. I cant thank you enough for all the informal lessons, teachings and tips through your videos keeping me engaged through each and every second of your videos. Looking forward to some rad content in 2023 keep it up pete❤🤙
You are still the king of making the most epic tutorials! Would love more how to video making videos!! You are such a pro and I love learning from you!!
I was literally mesmerized by this awesome video you made! Thank you so much for taking us behind the scenes of how you shot it! I learned a lot as always!
As a smaller creator your videos constantly inspire to keep going, I’m done comparing myself to those I look up to, I know I got this I just have to stay determined
Great video Pete I especially like the non-camera brand turn table. Accessibility for set pieces for close up product shots rock (I might be making a slider out of an old Lego train just for kicks on my channel)
Look man.. this helped me. I’m a small business owner that is obsessed with camera gear and stuff but have no training; I’m about to put this to work!! Nobody ever wants to just give you the nuts and bolts, the gatekeeping in photography is so much worse than other communities I’m involved in. Thanks 🙏🏻
Peter McKinnon does not know what the hell he is doing! To our minds that is. Mind blown! Per usual. Peter's an artist. Thanks for sharing my man! Love it
That hummingbird art concept is truelly stunning! We don't even have them In the UK! One of my bucket list photography subjects! Great video as always Peter👍
Always leading the way and inspiring us! ugh I told Kirk but I literally rewatched that intro a bajillion times on repeat when you guys did that camera sequence! those sound effects are sooo satisfying mixed in with your edits 🔥
This was super sick! Also that flip book would entertain me literally for at least an hour. Really been enjoying these dives into your process. Feels like I can really see understand the vision behind stuff
Love these types of videos! Your tutorials are always my fave. Would love to see a vid on editing process along with colour grading and adding music/sfx…basically the entire process from start to when it’s ready to be posted 👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾
THIS THIS THIS! With all due respect to Leica cameras and Arctic trips, this video directly relates to me and it's CHOCK full PMc goodness. I was feeling a bit out of touch with the content lately. Thanks!
this was helpful kind of as i just had a product photoshoot the other day. smashed it Pete although a little expensive for the average bob down the road!
Man talk about upping your video game. All the videos that you've been putting out this year are next level quality. Can see you're pushing yourself Peter creatively and it is paying off.
Hi Peter, first off I want to thank you for all that you do for the creative community. Your channel has really inspired me and help with so many things in my creative life. I've recently gotten back into photography and vlogging with a new mirrorless cam. I've been doing all my run and gun vlogging with my IPhone, and I'm finding the transition a bit difficult. I've spent the last 3 months ripping through all your videos. Have you ever made a video explaining how you set up your cam from run and gun solo vlogging? Do you ever use any auto settings? I'm finding it very cumbersome having to re-adjust white balance and ISO... when running around when the IPhone just works so quickly. I'd love to see how you deal with these issues when solo vlogging. Sorry for the long comment lol. Thanks Pet!
Thank you for always sharing your talent and knowledge! I've learned so much from you over the years, and I'm so thankful for it! I hope all is well! Also, random question: What's your favorite animal?
would like to see a video where you only have a budget of like $500 for equipment/gear and shoot a video production/promo video for a business and or a product...like how cheap could you go and still have a great product in the end (side note products given to you to use could not be factored in). To make it even harder, editing software has to be included in the budget. This comes from someone that is trying to get into video short films but I don't have money to get some of the gear used in your videos
your killin me Pete... ordered 2 MT pro lights... on Jan 17th, and they have been on backorder... were supposed to be back on Feb 23rd, but got pushed back to "early march"... curious when you got those... anyway, came for your link to Squarespace, starting a business... always lovin your videos... haha even got a Mastersupply jacket (scoundrel) because i was looking for a nice jacket and noticing its hard to find a good leather jacket that has some soul... and shortly you made your video there... got it in the mail 2 days ago... anyway... God bless...
