recently picked up interlude black iris for about $180 pre shipping to southwest USA, really nice pickup! my area is like, 95F 8 months out of the year and 70 F for the rest so its been weird trying to curate a collection as someone getting back into fragrance now that i have some money (started in high school with YSL L'homme and PR 1 Million). Found myself gravitating towards wintery fragrances (black iris, SYW Absolutely, JV Vintage) and parfums/extraits due to high heat and sweating etc. But I'm thinking I'm going to eventually need to have more fresher fragrances besides 9AM Dive and Fico di Amalfi. Part of me wants to say fuck that and pick up something more Middle Eastern since the climate is similar. Of the next three choices, which do you think you be the one to round out my collection: Alghabra Labyrinth Of Spices, Mancera Aoud Lemon Mint, or Day Three Fragrances Ambar Dominicano? (an actual freshie recommendation may be better than these lmfao) Cheers!

Some really nice suggestions in here but im kinda getting sick of phrases like “beast mode” being a positive in the fragrance community. Everyone likes smelling nice obviously but I find it’s actually a negative to be smelling THAT strong to people around you, its headache inducing and invasive. If people want to keep smelling your scent then they will ask to smell you. Nothing wrong with a normal sillage throw on an amazing scent and find it weird when its seen as desirable in a fragrance to be completely overbearing. Would love to hear your thoughts?

You chose to give them alternatives to what they have which would make them almost redundant, thather than recommending scent profiles they re missing in their collections, like for other seasons or occasions..or flat out another banger they should give a shot to in their least represented genre

Omar what do you think about the milestone Middle Eastern clone house. I found Ambre leather and it smelled pretty good but I have never smelled that home forward and don't want to spend $15 on something that won't perform at all. These generic fragrances aren't even cheap anymore.

bro when will you explore the middle eastern niches like Arabian oud and Gissah and Abdul Samad Al Qurashi pretty hard to get on them since they have that middle eastern vibe and alchohol differs then the one used in europe but once you get used to them qualiy/price is absrud makes niche europeen weak sauce and thats me talking from experiance

I got the Rasasi TL clone, and it indeed is a nuclear bomb of a fragrance. 1 spray is more than enough lol. I also just received my sample of Alexandria II a few days ago. I wanted to understand why everyone is fawning over this scent, and... I tried it multiple times. I wanted to like it, but it just smells like one of those cheap incense sticks to me. The ultimate rich man scent to me is either Ebene Fume or Oud Wood by TF, maybe DHI. In terms of oud fragrances, Oud For Greatness is awesome.

Maybe I will get some reserved stuff after finishing dental surgery and making money as a doctor. xDD Also I want to add, that first collection was pretty nicely selected. I would go for something oriental without gourmand character straight off. My suggestion is YSL Kouros EDT. Nice trio for 8/10 mark.

that long black bottle is hugo boss soul, its really nice, only if it projected and lasted longer, hard to find these days I believe

just picked up Faris by Kajal, smells super great. its actually so strong that I could smell the fragrance through the box it shipped in. At first I was worried it was broken/leaking but when I opened it and checked it was completely dry, and completely fine. Wonderfully fresh, crispy, sparkling green apple and citrus opening, with a drydown that kinda similar to sauvage but smoother and less "sharp/screechy" as people say.

Fantastic video as always. Now regarding Oud fragrances. The worst for nearly everyone is MFK Oud collection, Satin Mood, Silk Mood, etc. Smells dusty and suffocating, nothing refined at all. Alexandria II leans extremely feminine and frankly more towards older demographics. On positive note nearly all Montale Ouds can give MFK and Xerjoff’s Ouds run for their money.

I'm impressed. If I were the age of some of these owners' collections, I wouldn't be able to afford even more than one of these frags. Nowadays, I'd be lucky owning a few designer niche.
