This is quality modern salesmanship. Facilitating and explaining, not influencing and pressuring. I was in sales for years and the modern client will not tolerate pressure any longer. Very impressive.
Agreed. And tell me th negatives first. Everyone knows they're there. If the rep doesn't tell me the negatives first (or early on), he cannot be trusted.
Eh, he's not working on cold call leads unlike 99% of sales. That's the difference, and it frees up a lot of your time to actually acquire the client instead of pushing them towards buying something specific.
Never heard of fractional ownership before, that was a brilliant explanation. I really appreciate the content, even if I'm not the desired clientel yet ;)
@@nspread8953 That explains it. It's harder to get to Eurasia from over there. I'm in 🇬🇧 and there are 30+ countries within 3 hours flight here and many of those flights cost less than $50
@@wertrocks123 People in the US fly more often than in Europe though. You can get through most of Europe by car or by train. Try to get to New York from San Fransisco without flying. By car it would take you a week. In Europe by comparison most big cities are rather close to each other. Madrid to Warsaw is less than 24 hours by train.
@@zagreus5773 That's true, but we visit far more countries. If you think about how many different cultures, languages, peoples and histories are within a few hours on a train or plane. We're really blessed to be able to do that. From my experience I'd say we British are probably the most travelled nationality on earth. It's in our DNA and in our culture to travel the world... lol
Fractional depreciation needs to be considered though. You may have bought into the most reliable jet, so all the sudden your equity is in the unit that is having the piss flown out of it. Even at that, 100 hours bought in a jet that is split 8 ways will still will be flown more and depreciate faster. Also, stability in the 135 space as a whole is very, very much in question. See Jet It, Wheels Up, NetJets issues, etc.
Don't worry about that. 10, 15 years ago lobbyists greased the needed politicians. They made is so private plane ownership became mucho more affordable. And the industry sky rocketed as a result. Private ownership, and corporate ownership of jets went thru the roof. We can thank all our corrupt politicians for that
I’m so glad, as a guy who makes $10,000 a month, that I now know what to do if I ever want a buy a private jet. Maybe a fractional is for me. Just gotta out the 3 million up front. Buying a whole jet just doesn’t make sense for me, financially.
What’s interdicting I used to work at an FBO (parking spot for private jets). Sooo many people have no clue what the private jet business is all about. I was around it enough to know everything this guy is talking about. It definitely is another world. The problem is figuring out how to make enough money to even be involved with this stuff. I wish I knew the secret of how to become a multimillionaire, the jet business knowledge isn’t that complex.
And when you own that airplane you'll do it 50 to 80% more spending, wait till you get an annual maintenance on a Gulfstream, it will probably cost more than the plane did. I laugh at these people who sit here and talk all I need a plane for a hundred hours Call Delta or American Air And by you a first class ticket. In my book there is very few people that are wealthy enough in this world to own their own jet, now there's a lot of people that think they're wealthy enough to own their own jet but if you have to lease the jet out to pay for it then you can't afford it It's just like rental property or a car that you can't afford. But he did a great job of explaining it This guy's a first class salesman, I'm sure there's lots of people that use his service good for him
There's also planesense, operate a fleet of only pilatus. The pc12 and pc24 allows people to get closer to where they want to go as it can fly in super small airport's and is cost effective compared to net and flexjet. Only downside is they don't have a jet to go coast to coast or overseas non stop.
Y’all found a cool niche. I have need of a jet, but it’s a cool thing and interesting hearing more depth of ownership and all the thought on other aspects of ownership that can come with it. Cool CRM screen setup too.
You haven't worked out why yet? It is slowly quite literally hypnotising people as they become so accustomed to watching this style of video content. They NEED your attention and will do anything to keep it. For some dumb reason most humans fall for this and don't see it. Pay more attention in the future and see what you think. Maybe not the answer you wanted or thought you'd get but I honestly believe this is the case. People are already confusing what is real and what is not...add in Ai capabilities and it really will be difficult to de cipher what is real. What a great way to control a global population hey. Stay very aware my friend, this is a big tipping point in humanity, don't fall for the sucker end of the deal. Make YOUR OWN life and decisions. Peace
I so get fractional ownership now. Long story, kind of sad but funny in hindsight, and for some reason I feel the need to share. Bored I guess. So... my last commercial flight was to Hawaii. I splurged and bought us first class front row. I thought we were going to be comfortable, a bit insulated, and a bonus being close to the Lavatory, meaning we could imbibe a few. So, while seated and the plane was still boarding, a sick passenger ducked right into the front lavatory, and then she began vomiting big time. Yes, we all heard her through the entire boarding process. Eventually, the FA is knocking on the Lav door, Pass comes out looking like hell not even warmed over, and she goes to the back to find her seat. Why they closed the plane's doors I still don't understand, as we all hear her start to heave from somewhere behind us. HUUUNHGAH! Heck, I can still hear it. We all felt sorry for her, but when they escorted her from her seat, she was still vomiting in her bag all the way through the plane and out the door. Never thought so much could come out of such a petite young woman, or so loudly. The FA's were LIVID she even boarded. We ALL were livid they let her go back to her seat in the first place. We were delayed considerably as they had to clean and disinfect the lavatory, thank goodness she didn't leave a trail on the aisle. So, never used the Lav, I held it all the way to Hawaii, hardly drank anything on the flight... I could still smell the lingering stench of vomit from the Lav. Wish I could afford fractional!
It’s a SCAM. There are SO many fine lines of rules, regulations, and exemptions. He’s a salesman, not a humanitarian. If you’re paying for flight time… fly first class. It’s cheaper… with no overhead, flight crew, maintenance crew.
well.. not unless you own a 500 million dollar or a billion dollar company where you have to make last minute travel plans. The My-Pillow guy flies private because he must. His time is needed.
As someone that close deals...this guy is about the most honest salesperson on the planet.......i think it's almost a sin to buy a private jet without first talking to STEVE
Why on Earth did i watch that video? I fly on commercial with cheapest possible flight and don't spend a penny during flight and here I'm watching a video about owning a olane. So not professional of me.
What a great salesman giving all the options even at the rick of losing business. You heard about this guy who mocked up a lear and makes 70K a month letting so called 'influencers' use for photo shoots?
I just learned 2 things I never new about the cost and how it justified. I really loved your explanation on owning too. You make a great point that you will fly more too. I think people forget about the convenience aspect to it as well. Another plus is leaving whenever is good for you versus set times. Excellent video
Through your videos, we see that you are a master of skills in your field. Are you also a pilot? It is unlikely that I will one day become a customer , but I subscribe to your knowledge..
Sir , can you pls teach me . As a 15 year boy I am really curious and eager to learn if not earn . Will be waiting for you reply . Yours sincerely, Anshu
I know it's not really the point of getting a private jet. If you were a pilot yourself and you were to also get a fractional would that be worth it? Edit: But then now that I think more towards it. You got the hours allotted for the year. What would be the point in flying yourself
If you are getting ur private jet at a comerical airport like say london city than the private entrance has the same security checks as if u was going through public terminal and ur hold bags can be subject to random customs checks. At private airfiled you still have to go thru a security check when going airside but as for a customs check it will depend if border force are doing a spot check or not.
It's really easy: 1. You need to afford it. 2. It's a tool to help you earn money. It's not for entertaining if you're not a billionaire that doesn't care about costs with a plane. It's a money generator machine.
Phew I had planned to buy my own private jet, but now that I know it’s not worth it for less than 150 hr/year, I’m not going to. I do 0 hrs/year. Interesting how the economy of the world has changed since the past 70 years; There are so much more businesses that only cater and advertise to the top 1%, that we peasants couldn’t imagine they even existed!
Actually, at 150 hours it still is pretty much not worth it. You need to be real close to 400 hours a year to justify a plane. Most people are not aware of all the costs of owning a private plane. You have fixed costs which is the plane, the hangar, and oh by the way, you need to hire pilots, you may need a steward as well. And, you will need to keep those guys trained. Why? Because the next thing that you will have is the cost of insurance. Then there is some other minor costs, but those are your biggies. Those occur if you fly zero or 400 hours. Then you get into variable costs. Those are your fuel costs, landing costs, and if your plane is staying where you landed, hangar space, and of course cleaning. The toilet paper doesn't just show up by elves. Then you get into the costs for the plane. You can buy a maintenance plan on the engines that are per hour. This will cover the time that the engines need to be worked on. Or you can just write a huge check. Then, there is a schedule that the frame needs to be looked at. Then, of course, you need a piggy bank for the unscheduled things that can happen. You can have parts freeze. You can have a bird hit that does damage. It goes on and on. So the reason why people use the 400 hour mark is because you can take all these fixed costs and spread them out over the hours. It seems to be the magical number where it starts to make sense. That is financial sense. There is of course the qualitative aspect that for some has an incredible value. Imagine being able to pick up the phone, call the pilot and say, "I need to be wheels up to ____ in 4 hours." Imagine the peace of mind knowing that the plane has had all the required maintenance schedules and service bulletins taken care of. Imagine the peace of mind of knowing that the pilot(s) that you have are fresh, and didn't just get off a 8 hour flight. Imagine the peace of mind of knowing that the pilots are trained on that specific model of plane and do it yearly. All of those have some value to people.
I'm assuming by airplanes yall are talking about jets which cruise right below mach 1 correct? How different would the equation be for single or dual prop planes?
Sounds like such a headache, just book a commercial flight like everyone else does, even if you think your important. Look at Keanu Reeves taking the public bus and getting mad respective.
The big thing for the super wealthy that use these planes is the time saving aspect of it - don’t have to go through all the TSA etc. you can drive right up to the plane and hop right on. So it can save tons of time flying private
@@harshrajjadhav940 it still takes an absurd amount of time to go through TSA etc. regardless of where you sit on the plane. You don’t have to do that when flying private you literally drive out to the plane and hop right in.
It’s definitely a different world. My uncle had an aircraft but I was the only one in the family that knew. He claimed it was a charter. I’m in the cockpit with the pilot on a vacation and ask how long he had the plane and he tells me it’s not his, it’s my uncles. My uncle bought it with 2 business partners. When my grandmother went home on hospice care, when it was determined she didn’t have long, everyone was called. My aunt and cousin flew in immediately. I went to the airport to pick them up and on my way out a cousin’s fiancée wanted to get out of the house and ride with me… I couldn’t just say “you’re not allowed” lol. So she asked where we were going because the airport was the other way… Oh, umm different airport… Pull up to the gate and tell them what aircraft I’m there for. She notices I know the model of plane. Pull out onto the tarmac and see them taxing over to the FBO and she’s asking me what’s going on. Most people have never experienced things like this haha. So I pull in behind the wing as the FBO workers block the wheels and as the door comes down Bill, (the pilot) sees me and goes, “Hey Alan!” 🤦♂️ didn’t think about that and didn’t know how to talk my way out of it… She then overhears us speaking about refueling and flying back to pickup my uncle and bringing him a few hours later when he closes the office. She looks at me and says, “wait, you’ve been on that aircraft before!” 😅 Needless to say it would have been 1-2 days before they had been able to book and come on a commercial flight due to only 1 flight a day to our location on top of the hour drive to the large commercial airport and another 30 minutes for bags vs 15 minutes to the private airport and FBO. No TSA, no lines, just drive up, leave the key in your car and the FBO staff will park it for you and you’re in the air 10-15 minutes after stepping on board. Not to mention flying directly where you want to go whenever you want, not where the airline takes you on their schedule.
I don't understand why this guy opened RU-vid channel and show himself in videos unless it just tells me the jet business is not making money these days.
See the difference between the two man dress up in a suit??? 1 is fake rich and the other one is confident because his doing this for yrs now. The other was just like high schooler who is going to his 1st prom night, you can see that he doesn't have the confident of wearing the suit😂😂😂😂😂sad youtube now is all scripted
It’s seems like you don’t know this guy. He is not a fake rich guy like you think. He worked his money and really doing good for himself. His name is Iman Gadzhi, you can check him out
I feel sorry for this man. All professional, business like, has the patter, has spent his life in the pursuit of money whilst never ever searching or understanding the beauty of his own soul. Purely, utterly robotic. Soon AI will do this a lot better than him, and he will become ashes from ashes without leaving a memory. What a shame.
