There are few upcoming games that I'm excited about right now, but "Gunner, HEAT, PC!" is one of them. GHPC is a sim-lite game developed by Radian Simulations, a completely independent company. It's in the Fulda Gap in 1985, but will eventually branch into other theaters and conflicts. You take control of various armored fighting vehicles including main battle tanks (MBTs), infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), and armored personnel carriers (APCs). Each vehicle is modeled as realistically as possible, giving vehicles their unique idiosyncrasies. An M1 Abrams will not play the same as a T-72 or M60. The voice acting is also phenomenal, with crews becoming more panicked as the battlefield becomes more intense.
