Friends, glad to see so many reactions to this video. So I want to address everyone. Let's not be so categorical because of the first insights about the future Ghost Recon game. I still hope that Ubisoft will not be able to just abandon the multi-million audience of loyal fans of the series, who supported Ghost Recon games just because they were third-person games. So I think there's a huge possibility that a future game will feature an optional camera view switch from first-person to third-person. This practice has been used in recently released games and worked brilliantly. So I don't see any problem to implement it in the future Ghost Recon as well. Let's believe that it will be a really great project that will attract both new audience and loyal fans of the series. Thank you for being with LugovoisesGames! Cheers!
No 1st person view = No buy for me (as was for Wildlands and Breakpoint and etc.) Ghost Recon used to be 1st person, when it was a succes ( Ghost Recon: Island Thunder was my favorite) They should have 3rd and 1st person view as was allready made possible by modders (for WL and BP) and then everybody can be happy. It's allready shown that it's possible and available. If they're smart they still fix it for WL and BP too, then i would buy those games too.
I choose to remain realistic in my expectations. Ubisoft at best is a flawed company and they have not made anything of quality in a long while. The clear choice to not go to the community initially shows they are disinterested in addressing the shortcomings of previous games and the pitfalls of future choices. I hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
i WILL ALWAYS want to have a real and perfect hybrid game of "WHAT IF GHOST RECON MEETS ARMA3?" idea in the next sense: 1. detailed managing of the squad (of lets say 6 men team) to arma spirit 2. giving to the squad leader (gamer) the choose of choosing between 3th person/1st person and even also a "2th person" mixing the best of the 1st and 3th person ones 3. selecting what team members i want in my team per mission by soldier class 4. having 2 maps: a. one general map of the area of the mission (like in the breakpoint game) (given in paper) b. and other smaller map for analyzing the current combat point (given via what a predator uav sees) 5. i want back my crosscom of my team members (GRAW AND GRAW2)
100 percent agreed. 1st person is awesome, but you can never properly appreciate the character skin and graphics like you would in 3rd person. Sth I want in this one is photorealistic graphics, with a more fluid weapon manipulation (similar to unrecord, aka bodycam game), and much more emphasis into story development, and AI development. If they do this properly, take their time, and really make sth good, like even add a sandbox open-world mode like DMZ but PvE strictly, and have players who finish the campaign carry out ops in this realistic middle-eastern environment, it'd be a best seller. COD is dying right now, especially in the milsim department, so we really really need a decent milsim with photorealistic graphics and decent mechanics and animation.
I hope they offer both options, FPS and TPS. The ghost recon community can keep playing 3rd, and they can pull in FPS fans. I also LOVE the cultural feel of Wildlands. The people, the colors, the language, especially the music. Those elements gave me great escapism. When I hear Latin music in public, I think of Wildlands, then come home and play it, even though I finished the game.
I also hope they give the option to optionally switch the camera view. So that the game will keep loyal Ghost Recon fans who love the third-person view, and also attract those who only recognize the first-person gameplay💪🤝 Let's see. Looking forward to more insights!
@@LugovoisesGames What about the fans from before that when it was a first person shooter?? I like the 3rd person option too, but there are plenty of loyal fans that want a real 1st person version and this sounds like maybe it is. I didn't really get into the last game until the 1st person mod came out, but it's not a good 1st person experience at all. Now it might actually be an amazing open world larp game with immersive and realistic combat. If BP had a RON style of 1pp I would play it non stop.
I don’t see them having both, if they did why didn’t the insider mention first and third person perspective? I ofc want both but don’t see ubisoft doing it
i m literally haunted by the guy in the enemy camp singing "la santa.... LA SAAAANTAAAAA" what a real video game feeling same as the old playstation 2 vibes when you add a mood at the game and people who spend hundreds of hours in knows perfectly the ambiance, windlands make me love bolivia . i hope fps gonna be an option too
The ONLY way Ubi listens to the community is through sales numbers and they don't lie. While many successes and some flops happened to 3rd p games, their all time best selling title was an FPS and they generally sell better than 3PS. This doesn't mean they shouldn't offer a 3rd p option though.
Yeah, you're absolutely right. It's been a mystery to me for a year now, too. Anyway, we'll wait for more insides and news. Hopefully they will give players the option to optionally switch the camera to third-person view😉💪
@SeanChristOne I agree. But the world is a better place with @LugovoisesGames 3rd person gameplay videos. I'd never want them to end! They're just too awesome. If UBI won't give the option, "someone" will ;)
Actually Ubisoft do listen and that’s the problem, everyone was asking for first person and now that it’s happening they are complaining 🤣🤦♂️ you can never please anyone i swear
Here's the thing, you either have a very polished first person with a bit clunky or unpolished third person and vice versa or you have both that are mediocre, can't really have both that are extremely fluid and polished.
@@zedus4042I think it's cool they're going back to their roots as an FPS title. Though I have played the newer ones and grown accustomed to both styles, FPS and TPS..
I love GR Wildlands. I have crawled over every square inch of that world. If I have any complaint, it is my ability (or lack thereof) to retain assets. When I steal a plane or boat or Unidad armored vehicle, I should be able to take it to a Katari rebel base and it remain there and not disappear after I leave. Especially the airplanes, because the map is so huge that a plane is very much needed in order to get around quickly.
This is possible in breakpoint. I actually prefer breakpoint over wildlands. You might too especially with the motherland add on you have faction wars appending all over and have to conquer territories based on difficulty just like in wildlands.
I’m still playing Ghost Recon since 2019…I love the game but I play realistic…slowly….i map out the area and take out each Bad Guy while not being seen or heard….love it
@@kkkjhjhuv5884yea but it used but people don’t just want to control drones there’s a lot of people fighting on the frontlines it can be done but I don’t think breakpoint did it right with all the tech stuff like the tanks and shit
Here Is how I hope it will be... A campaign covering certain regions of the map and finally once its done, opening up a bigger open world with smaller side stories.
If it’s an open world again, I like this idea. Being completely open from the beginning is too much. I also don’t like gun unlocks spread across the map.
@@CrzBonKerz21 Yeah...I feel like new weapons should be unlocked every few missions with a reason why the weapon will work better in that scenerio and later after the game is done you'll unlock its varients...I want old school storytelling and great A.I characters...We deserve this much
I really wish they would.I wouldn't think twice about buying it.The very first ghost recon and it's add on were the best multiplayer game. I personally think it would give COD A run for its money. Having your own server being able to set the amount of respawns so it forced you to play. Run and gun and camp with your last couple response.
right!? All these clowns talking about how they love all the realism, yet they whine about how it just HAS to be in third-person... see the problem there?
You really think they can make a game as good as them again?!?!?! M8 it's GOOBISOFT ARE YOU DUMB?!!! They haven't released anything but trash for years now and are ACTIVELY STEALING our games People don't realise that isn't the same Ubisoft, they cared back then and respected our time and money Now they hate us, don't listen to us and just try to rob us and milk is dry
Ghost recon was originally first person way back in the day on pc.i think if they kept it open world with a survival aspect and realism it would be great but also have a 3rd person option
first person is amazing. no more ghost peeking and making it an actual tactical shooter. almost nothing about wild lands and break point were tactical and realistic, and hopefully they really bring back their roots.
So I’m actually excited about the fps variant of ghost recon, assuming that this is true taking a team of 4 and essentially having a tactical shooter game would sound fun
You have to remember the first Ghost Recon games were first person. I'm super down for them to go back to first person view, and this is a really good time for Ubisoft to come back on top with the Tom Clancy franchise by making them mil sim (in their respective genres) especially with how popular it's becoming now a days. The original Clancy games were all technically realistic games for it's time. I'd love to see Rainbow Six fall back to it's former glory as well, and I'm super excited for the Splinter Cell remake.
@coreycasciano3255 it still wouldn't be ghost recon, if you look at old ghost recon they had core mechanics for the AI like if your AI teammates get killed they stay dead until the mission is over then you got new replacement AI teammates the list goes on for what ghost recon is beside first person, third person has more valuable mechanics than first person
@@bradleymoreland62 I mean I get how 3rd person would cater to a larger market but OG rainbow six and ghost recon both had great ia and squad order systems while first person. Planning missions was the shit. It be cool if it got like ready or not level of immersion
@tannerbottineau62 it would also be nice if they would have a selection at the beginning of the game for first or third person. Hell they can remake wildlands with the breakpoint mechanics and I'd be happy with that
I've been playing Ground Branch a lot, and that game is the epitome of shooting. And if the next Ghost Recon is able to deliver 50% of GB gunplay while having a story and various missions, I'm all in.
"Ubi is ubi" is spot on! I couldn't have said it better. Well, I think either it will be a complete failure or we'll get something new and unique in the milsim first-person shooter genre. We'll see😉
Yeah, like other RU-vidr said in his other video, what makes me hate Ubisoft is that they don’t always make bad games, sometimes they nail it, like on Wildlands, so we never lose hope on them lol
I can't believe they decided to drop the third person perspective! Ubisoft is once again ignoring the community! I'm disappointed. Hopefully the game will have an option to switch to third person view. Thanks for the detailed review, man. And congrats to the winner of the giveaway!
I share your frustration. However, maybe they will still add the ability to optionally switch the camera to third-person view! Looking forward to more insights😉
I am glad they got rid off third person, it was terrible. OG ghost recons were FP and I am glad they LISTENED to community and implementing first person mode. Going back to roots!
So, I love how Ghost recon has handled the balance of 3rd and 1st person gameplay in Wildlands and Break Point, but I’ve also been playing since the original Ghost Recon came out and originally the Ghost Recon series was only 1st person and it was pretty much the only tactical no nonsense first person shooter at the time. It sounds like they are returning to their roots.
Look..I’ve grown really attached to Nomad. I think they should incorporate him/her in the new game. All of these games, both Wildlands and Breakpoint were IMHO great! Even after they developed DLC and other story modes..I say we give them a chance and see where they take it, and if they are willing to listen to their fan base.
@@Exotic-_ that’s my point. He’s a tough guy. You have to be when you’ve been shot down several times, hunted, lost your closest friends and then have to kill someone who used to be you service brother (I served IRL…I couldn’t imagine) He has to be cold, and they let you select dialog like Elder Scrolls did in their games which is dope.
1st person is great for the milsim immersion. 3rd person is great for looking at how cool your character looks with all the cool branded gear they put in the game!
@krisztiannagy8983 Won't matter to them. If you don't buy that's solely on you. For every 1 person that doesn't buy, there are 100 others that will recover the cost that you didn't. Also, the naysayers right now who loved 3rd person may want to re-examine themseleves. GR used to be a strict FPS only, and then the newer ones came out that were 3rd person, and some liked the evolution. (I didn't), but many others did. I am sure the same will happen if this is an FPS only. However, they may decide to do a 3rd person mode option as well. I've never seen a GR have a 1st and 3rd person option by default. It's always been strict, one view or the other. It will be interesting to see what happens. Don't put the cart before the horse!
Sounds similar to the og ghost recon with it being first person squad management. Honestly I haven’t played much of the first one but it would definitely be interesting. Sounds like possibly Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell are going back to their roots
My 1st GR game was GRAW2, but the 1st person PC port and I absolutely fell in love with it. After that, I played Future Soldier, Wildlands & Breakpoint, and I really enjoyed the experiences each one gave (expect Breakpoint at launch with the bullshit RPG elements). So for me, I don't really care for the camera perspective. As long as the game is grounded, gritty & immersive, with no robots. Give us the option to choose, please Ubisoft🙏
If there's no 3rd person option it will be Call of Duty a shame. Ghost Recon is a great game series been playing since Future Soldier it's sort of in it's own league really in my opinion. I hope they add in the option to switch between 1st and 3rd person perspective, fingers crossed.
I loved future soldier. Been playing since ghost recon first came out on ps2. Love the series I don’t really care if it’s 1st or 3rd I just want it to be good
Why is everyone so upset with GR getting a first person title? It started out as such from what I've seen and did it well. There has been a few third titles since then with the last fps title being 2007 I think. If they decide to do both views they should make them both great instead of do both not well. But with just 1 option (FPS), they can perfect it. Also, just because a game is an FPS, doesn't mean it's like COD, it is just perspective
1st person is so popular because it puts them in the scenario and mimics more realistic feel to tactical shooters makes you connect with the character 3rd person lets you make decisions based off thing you would never actually see by abusing camera angles
hi. am an old fan of recon series (literally), and first ever cod or far cry as well. my humble opinion is not popular maybe but...some of us just love both game styles, depending on mood and fight scenario. me love 3pers view, animations, gear details much. some days just wanna walk and explore first. prepare for attack. for this 3view is more emmersive for me and visually reacher. but when it comes to fight, especially in cqb I simply move like a dog in da fog. in far cry style i am moving fast and deadly. here I die often because my camera flyes where i dont expect it to be, or animation does flips and its over. its more natural looking through my eyes and fight. so ideal would be - as they do with other options - to leave a user his choice. 😊 peace.
I too think Ubisoft should just let players choose which camera view to play with, first or third person. It would be a perfect compromise for both the players and the studio itself. After all, this way they will attract a new audience and will not lose the loyal fans of the series of recent years.
Im sure there will be great improvements in 'OVER', but for me bro..no way am i going back to 1st person shooter, i just dont like the view..its too limited ! I've years of entertainment to keep me going, GR wildlands & breakpoint, Sniper Elite 4 & 5, and God of War( not played it yet lol) each to there own bro, im sure plenty of folk like that kind of set up, i will just crack on with what i have😉, rest easy bro, have a good week, happy hunting👊
Man, let's not jump to conclusions about the new Ghost Recon just yet. I still hope they don't allow themselves to completely ignore the series' fan base of millions, who have grown so fond of the game over the past decade precisely because of its third-person playability. Maybe they'll make it optional to switch the camera to both first-person and third-person view. Like it was implemented in the recently released Starfield. Let's believe in the best and wait for more insights. I will keep you updated! You have a good week too, brother!😉🤝😌
@@LugovoisesGames Bro, i am optimistic, i hope they give a TP option, then i will be interested, but if its going to go FP only, that would kill it for me ! A lot can happen in a year, my play is starting to get a little better, im not getting killed so much, im currently working on Episode 1, im now 225hrs of play, soon ads up 🥵🤣, catch up later bro its 04:07hrs here..im just up, 1st coffee😉🫡
I think that it’s brilliant making the new game 1st person. It’s so much more captivating seeing the world through the characters eyes. The only thing I can see why people like 3rd person is the ability to peak corners and obstacles which for me immediately breaks that captivation. It feels like I’m watching a character instead of being a character
We just need an updated breakpoint in a different setting with a little better graphics. Don’t over think it. I would be fine with more dlc content for breakpoint.. I’ve been to every base so many times I just need a new open world
I believe the concept of first-person shooter a very good concept because that is real I don't know about you but when I think of a gunfight I don't think of a camera over my shoulder me looking through it I think of me using my eyeballs however I do hope the game stays open world because mission-oriented is nice but sometimes it's more comfortable and challenging with an open world cuz then you have multiple outcomes multiple choices and that is war multiplayer and negative outcomes at least in a game setting
Yeah, that's what I think too! I think they want to combine the best of Modern Warfare and smaller games like Ready or Not and Insurgency Sandstorm into this game. It might be something new in the milsim shooter genre!💪
Its crazy how everyone talks about wildlands like it's a god tier game now😅 when wildlands released and for sometime after, everyone was calling it trash and heavily criticized it at every corner🤷 oh but now all that complaining got us to where we are now and these games are touted as ideal....Maaaan. perfect example to just enjoy the games, be supportive and hopefully they will innovative the series correctly because when they try to yall just complain ✅
Always happy to be helpful. Well, I don't think we should jump to conclusions just yet. Let's wait for new insights, maybe the game will make it possible to optionally switch the camera to third-person view😉
As a big fan of the Ghost Recon series myself, I'd be happy to see the next game as a tactical first person game, but in the open world setting of Wildlands. I prefer the tactical first person experience from the older games (Have modded GR Breakpoint to be just that), but loved the open world setting of Bolivia in Wildlands, with all the randomness that came with it.. Made it feel alive. Breakpoint was a big step down from Wildlands, with the AI being boring as h#ll, just repeating the same 5 lines over and over again (And being WAY to loud) Things I'd like to see: -Open world setting like Wildlands -A more alive world like in Wildlands. Loved the vibe of that game -The full control of how to approach missions like in Wildlands, with me (the player) being able to choose stealth or full force fights. -First person (With the option to switch to 3rd person for the people who like that) -The World Parameters from Breakpoint, so i can customize the gameplay experience I'd like, BUT with an EXTRA 'Hardcore' mode, where the bots don't go all invincible when they spot you, but are always 2/3 to the chest (Depending in range, caliber and ammo) and 1/2 to the head. -WAY smarter AI. Don't let them either hide or shoot, make them smart (AI in games such as Tarkov or Ready or Not are more like it) -Realistic weapons; i DO NOT want the system we have in Breakpoint, where an M4 can be an 'SMG' or 'DMR' just because it has a different barrel. Make weapon customization more like CoD (I'd prefer Tarkov's version, but that's not to everyone's taste in a game like Ghost Recon) -Realistic ballistic mechanics. Make scopes able to zoom (smoothly, not EITHER 1x OR 12x, but everything in between) and make a sniper able to reach 800-1000m (And the bigger rifles even further), no bullet drop like it's airsoft. -Healing mechanics like in Breakpoint (It's not supposed to be as difficult as Tarkov for example) -Being able to control your AI Squad mates just as in Ready or Not -This time ACTUALLY improve the vehicle mechanics -I like to see the AI use more modern tactics and equipment, so let there be drone surveillance on bigger bases, but NOT as annoying as in Breakpoint. Make it fun and challenging. -Make the missions grittier and harder. The CoD MW2022 first mission (Woman with the trigger in the house) was a good example. Add elements in there the player has to deal with, changing the outcome of the mission because of the choice the player makes. I know everyone has a different take/idea what the next Ghost Recon game 'should' be, this is just my take on what I'd like.
Lo que sabemos hasta ahora es que Ubisoft está posicionando el juego como un shooter en primera persona. Esperemos que permitan incluir opcionalmente una vista en tercera persona.
I’m gonna give this series one more chance, so once again I’m highly anticipating this game. Really all gotta do is make gear matter that alone will raise the bar for this game immensely.
I am very exciting ghost recon is going back to its original roots as a FPS. I am a huge fan of the Ghost Recon games and I am not disappointed at all. Even though I loved Ghost Recon as a third person shooter I feel like this will give New Life to the franchise. Can't wait!
No 3rd person, no buy Ubisoft will just end up turning it into a generic forgettable FPS, and us console players will back to having 0 tactical shooters yaaaay
Entitled much? The Original was First Person and was the best! Waa waaa it doesn't come with a feature you don't want so you won't buy. You are the epitome of an entitled millennial. Grow up! You were born probBly in late or early 2000s, weren't you? You have no idea what tactical means do you?
Stop being an entitled bratt. Just because it doesn't come with a feature you don't like, you won't buy.... The very first Ghost Recon was First Person, and it was the GOAT! Were you born in the early or late 2000's?
I know what you mean. I too was initially shocked by the news. However, I'm believing the best for now and hoping that players will be given the optional ability to switch to third-person view. We'll see...😉
It’s wild to see how many people are vehemently opposed to it being a modern take on the original formula, but then turn around and say they’ve never played it. Like ask long time series veterans and most consider the first game to be the best.
Ghost recon needs to be a 3rd person shooter!! That or be able to switch between the two. Sad to say it but if they lock it into first person I won’t be buying it. Ubisoft if you want a first person shooter make a new title don’t try and slap it into a game franchise like Ghost Recon.
I like the idea of unlocking the open world after completing the story. Let the campaign hit a few key locations with cinematic introductions, but after the main story let us explore the open world component. Having it be open world off the bat makes it too easy to get side tracked and feel more empty.
So IF its FPS only then all the character customisation with everything goes out the window. How lame Ubi if you,re going to cut this huge corner. This is what us GR fans want and we don,t just want to see an end of a gun swaying around. IF they make it switchable then it will be great.Hoping also we can still have a open world to play and not just some mission based area then finish (like the ridiculously short COD games) Ubisoft think about your hardcore GR fanbase because guaranteed you will lose a massive amount of them.
Your review definitely needs to be shown to Ubisoft. I agree with every word of it. You know, I still hope and believe that they will give us the ability to optionally switch the camera to third-person view like they implemented in the recently released Starfield. Therefore, I don't see a problem to do the same in Ghost Recon. Especially considering the fact that this series has been positioned as a third-person game for over 10 years now. You can't just pick up and spit on Ghost Recon's fan base of millions. Do you think I'm being overly optimistic?😅 Hope springs last. Let's wait for more insights😉🤝
Wildlands strategic system and difficulty.. and re work the physics and update the melee combat from.breakpoint.. add gore... some pure controversial scenes similar to mentioned.. deep story that has you making delicious that would haunt you.. lesser of two evils kinda choice. Third person open world.. and make it live service.. so that after a year or two.. you can add an edition that beings you to a new location with a complete new story.
If thats the case, me too Bro ! At least they should give the player the choice of switching to First Person, or to third Person. But If they make IT that way i think they loose a big big Fan/Player Base
Not only that, as it would be okay if it was just an option, however they need to lose this online live service shyte. Relying on Ubisoft servers in order to be able to play is complete bullshit. Still play Wildlands to this day as I consider it to be superior to Breakpoint on so many levels. Breakpoint was just a lush map with no activity. Literally a huge map of collecting flowers lol.
GR wildlands was freaking awesome. The perfect sized map, weapon mechanics everything was almost perfect. Breakpoint on the other hand I did like the solo taking out the camps and everything. the new stealth mechanics and vehicles. Graphics were top notch but idk something about the gameplay was missing. It didn't feel like a ghost recon game. Enemies would spot you from afar even tho you were hiding.it was ridiculous. I hope this one feels like wildlands.
If they go with a setting similar to Modern Warfare 2's DMZ mode, they may definitely may have something as COD completely abandoned the DMZ mode to focus on Warzone. Done right it could be a great game. focus on the tactical shooter aspect, Continue the insane customizations, add in great weapons, stealth, Caliber changes, and more lively environments along with music. it could be a game we all love. (just make First person an option. like MW3 zombies.)
Lets See how it will be. I hope it's become more realistic and the story could be better. Aka the cutscences were so robotic and unnatural. I'm not a big fan of Ubisoft anyway, so it was kinda predictable.
We'll see about that, buddy! I think they want to combine the best of Modern Warfare and smaller games like Ready or Not and Insurgency Sandstorm into this game - make a cool story with an emphasis on hard realism. This could be something new in the milsim shooter genre! At least, I really want to believe that😁💪
I have never been into shooters, however, a couple years ago I got ghost recon: breakpoint, and I still play that game quite often (it followed my jump from xbox to pc). personally, I like wandering the world in third person, but then I always had my aiming settings down the iron sights. I prefer shooting from the sights of the actual gun. I don't know what to expect. From what I've seen in the gaming industry as a whole, the major game developers haven't really been listening to their fan bases and going the way of what games look best for advertisers. I'll treat the new game the same way I treated the newest Forza game, I'll wait for it to have been released for a couple of months for evaluating
Ghost recon was originally a first person shooter, they’ve only dropped a couple 3rd person titles just more recently so anyone 23 and under has probably never played a first person ghost recon, being 30+ I’m more used to 1st person ghost recons this is a step towards the origins.
This game will be very cool and epic if the feature is updated by changing first person and manual peek modes. and added a little open scope animation which is a bit realistic. will probably be the TOP 5 best pc game in the world
They can absolutely do an optional setting to move between fps and 3rd person (not saying it's easy but it is possible). I understand the fps move if they are aiming to make a milsim that is pvp (to avoid the complication of 3rd person corner peeking), but not much sense in a PVE campaign.
I don't mind the 3rd person camera I just wanted the option to also have a seamless 1st person which wildlands and breakpoint didn't feature. I like looking at my operator and seeing the gear I earned, but for actual combat or CQB fighting I prefer first person. Basically give me battlefield 4 gameplay with the customization of breakpoint and some cool combat and stealth mechanics.
You forgot about Ghost Recon: Future Solider first TPP entry, which is tied to Wildlands and Breakpoint (first game where Nomad shows up although its only shared codename not the same person).
Breakpoint became a problem when I ran out of ammo and wanted to use a dead enemy's weapon to stay in the fight. They didn't drop weapons when the game released because they wanted you to loot chests and boxes for gear with levels. They fixed the game by removing that part entirely. Breakpoint now played like Wildlands and its great. But I still love Wildlands.
I like the 1st person push, back to OG ghost recon on OG Xbox where it was 1st person with a topographical map no pins or red triangles just straight up tactical combat
I hope there are realistic elements such as crack sound from glass give away to enemies... the birds in the jungle suddenly fly off... the foot prints in the mud, sand or in the snow... and much more that you can think of...adding environmental destruction also is very nice... and please make it available both offline and online
no third person no thanks, Third person is what made Wildlands and Breakpoint so great hoping the devs are paying close attention to the community and picks up on what we want and what we are willing to pay for
Ghost Recon WAS 1st person and having it go back to that is NOT a bad thing. Having said that I should say that it is a good thing IF they really go back to basics in other ways too. Something more like the first few games with a modern open world setting would be my preference
i’m actually really happy to hear that it’s first person, but i also hope it has third person. modern warfare can do it so i don’t see why ghost recon can’t..
I'd really like to see this as a completely new universe, set in modern (not futuristic) times. I would like the story to really portray the dark aspects of war and politics, and how Ghosts are basically the necessary evil, sent to carry ops that never existed, to intervene in countries their handlers could never be seen intervening, and to have to maintain their humanity and remember why they exist, not as a weapon, but as the shepherd dogs ensuring the stability of the globe. Gameplay-wise, I would think a photorealistic milsim, with 1st and 3rd person option, using a semi-fluid gun manipulation, with exceptional AI system would be what we need. Imagine an open-world map like Al-Mazrah, teeming with civilians, military, mercs, and terrorists, a sandbox mode with dynamic weather elements, where you would operate alone, or as a team (with hopefully retaining AI squad) to carry out new types of ops in a PvE format. Imagine the type of content we'd have. These are all what we all wished for from the MW reboot that we never got. DMZ was the first step towards the right thing, but its inability to shed the warzone elements ruined it. If Ghost Recon can become what MW never did, it'd be the top milsim on everyone's list.
Honestly I’m most worried about the fact that their taking (from the look of it) inspiration from the newer modern warfares, so I’m just hoping that it will be more inspiration from MW2 than MW3.
Okay... The Ghosts are supposed to be a secret government force that no one knows about. We were never officially there. No records of The Ghosts actually exist. So why in the absolute hell would you make us a group of Navy SEALS? The gameplay seen in the video from Project Over look like they belong in a game about a real spec ops team from the U.S. Not a small group of highly trained mercenaries that can bring down a country in a few nights. Ugh...
