There won't be another superpower after the US. The US will be the last superpower on earth before Christ returns...you have already given reasons. If you don't read Daniel you won't understand Revelation 13 particularly the "second beast" from the earth. Daniel and Revelation go hand in glove. Scripture points to the US. In Daniel 2, starting with verse 31, Daniel the prophet interprets a dream king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon had. The dream was revealed to Daniel by God. Cut to the chase...It had to do with the four empires of the world. Remember that the Bible is also an historical book. Those four in this order started with Babylon [Iraq], Mede O Persia [Iran], Greece and then of course, Rome, the strongest and the longest empire. Daniel explains to king Nebuchadnezzar about an "image" of a man in his dream. Head of Gold = Babylon [Iraq] (It was loaded with gold indeed), Its chest and arms of silver = Mede O Persia (Iran...it was loaded with silver), its belly and thighs were bronze = Greece (there swords were made of brass, maybe their armor as well) and its legs of iron and feet partly of iron and clay = Rome (there swords were made of iron and perhaps their armor as well. The feet? Those western European powers that rose from within the Roman empire...it didn't cling to Rome. Iron and clay don't mix). Why these empires, Babylon, Mede O Persia, Greece and Rome? Weren't there other empires in the world? Yes. Those empires were mentioned because they affected God's people...that's why they were mentioned. And it happened precisely as God predicted. The "second beast" of Revelation 13? Revelation 13: 11- 17. It's a lamb like beast [a power] with two horns. Horn in Bible prophecy symbolizes a kingdom, a government. How do we know? Daniel 7: 24: The ten horns are ten kings Who shall arise from this kingdom...[Rome] And another shall rise after them; He shall be different from the first ones, And shall subdue three kings. (the Vandals, the Ostrogoths and the Heruli...they were destroyed by the first beast of Revelation 13) We know that the US's symbolism of power is the Bald Eagle, right? Wasn't Rome's an eagle as well? An eagle is not a mammal but a lamb is. On May 9, 2016 President Obama signed into law the "First National Mammal" of the US...the bison. The bison is a mammal and it has (two horns) and it's native to North America, mostly (you can google it...NYT article but there are other articles). The two horns are symbolic as to the type of government it is: The horns represent two essential governing principles: civil and religious liberty...no monarch and no pope. These two tenets established the country's founding document, the US Constitution and its first group of amendments, the Bill of rights, which define the fundamental objective of the United States.Here's another, Revelation 13: 16. What is the only nation on earth that has the power of sanctions? What do sanctions do? Wasn't Venezuela leveled by it as well as Syria and Iran? Now Russia too? Any wonder why the BRICS exist and there's 47 other countries that want to join it? You know why... The last sentence of Daniel 2: 45 reads like this: The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure.”
There is no such thing as "independent corporations". All those companies listed are controlled by the US. It's just public-private cooperation. Ways of skirting laws
I'd say that having corporations becoming a super power is partially true. In that, this is already the case as can be seen in western countries where the line between these tech companies, hedge funds and government are blurred. The rise of a single corporation isn't completely correct, as there will be a small number of mega corporations or a conglomerate of them vying for power. In turn, choosing the corporation that you work for will be like choosing a religion, and we'll see a merge between work/life/religion being centred on the corporation that you are part of. People will also live in corporate build compounds rather than cities. This will be global. No borders as we have them today.
BRICS is working on displacing the dollar as the reserve currency. It’s going to take a long time. If it happens or comes close to happening, the US will not go down easy

I will tell why it will not even be a strong middle power. Only one who know thats society will tell the backwardness, rascism and absolute backward mentality about social structure and discrimination .....remember its generally homogenous society not like the west - imagine a group of humans will be known as untouchables, an open form of "religious practice". The biggest achilies of india is hinduism - "Talk about Islam being intolerance" hinduism takes it to another level. But the difference is its level of backwardness from the middle ages.
