Something I love so much about salamangreat is always the building process. Salamangreat is one of if not the most modular archetype in Yugioh. A lot of good searchers with of fire; circle; and cynet mining, so many fantastic starters with foxy; again of fire; and a card you didn’t mention but is still useful which is flame bufferlo, and of course the extenders are godly with gazelle; weasel; and even fowl and mole as some fun tech options. Not to mention rage and roar are incredibly oppressive control tools, alongside transcendence if you’re rocking pyro phoenix. Every Salamangreat deck feels so fresh because everyone has their own unique likes and dislikes with the deck. It’s not like some meta decks where you see the same things over and over from every duelist using that meta deck. With salamangreat, every single deck profile I’ve seen has been very different, and that’s the beauty of salamangreat.

I JUST LOVE SALAMANGREAT! The new support came out on my birthday, so it was Konami giving me a nice birthday gift! 1st local I played with the new support was a win for the GREATEST deck there is! And if that wasn't enough did I pull a nice Ghostly Wolf from my prices. Konami just want me to play this deck!

This is a long one; On combo #4 instead of Xyz summoning miragestallio right away make splash mage with gazelle and balelynx, special the gazelle with splash, make miragestallio, bring out weasel from deck, I like to link balelynx off weasel here to put gazelle from grave on their field, then you can draw there, then make heatsoul, with splash and balelynx, draw again, then link with miragestallio and heatsoul to make phoenix. Then you can reincarnate summon. So draw 2 and 2 traps.

Everyone is hyping salad of fire, for good reason, but weasel is so underrated, acts as a free extender and with stallio let’s you get a monster back to hand plus draw a card

If you run floodgates like gozen or rivalry you can also leave the monster that weasel summoned on your opponent’s field and if they try to crash it into your monster you can use salad of fire eff in grave to pop your own monster. New iblee deck just dropped

god, what a cool build. really the only card im hesitant on is desires. especially sense the deck is already super consistent. i feel like you could easily take this card out and through in some more non engine cards like Ghost belle or something. maybe even through in crossout with all the non engine you are running

For the spinny + Gazelle combo you could have gone into heatsoul for the extra draw.

I’m letting a beginner borrow my salamangreat cards to learn the game using the deck, but I don’t have any of the new set from the duelist pack. I’m wondering if parallel exceeds, flame bufferlos, and rank 4s/Heatsoul will be good enough replacements at a local level to not get stomped

How are you finding the deck plays with no Bufferlo? I've been testing Salad a lot and Buff still feels like the best normal summon even if Fire is the new one card combo, curious if you've found yourself missing the easy discard outlet + the draw? Great profile either way, I'm gonna experiment with this build too!

Good guide, but lacks some of the more advanced combos on how to link climb into raging phoenix with less optimal hands. Spinny/foxy/Jack jaguar with will are all two card combos into raging phoenix and /or transcode colinked to raging phoenix

you can't actually summon gazelle after it got added to the hand by the effect of sunlight wolf. the restriction of sunlight wolf prevent any monster got added by it's effect to be summon

For some reason on the one card gazelle combo, every time I try it online I can’t summon gazelle after I make heatleo…. Like what am I missing. Is this card bugged on dueling nexus. I’ve been double checking every combo video for this card and everyone seems to be on the same page with it but it just doesn’t work on dueling nexus.
