I've been tweaking my Scolipede deck since the new set dropped. I'm using a 2-2 line of the new Froslass to get those instant KOs on ability decks and a Munkidori since I'm already running dark energies. Survival Brace is my ace spec of choice. Super fun deck and surprisingly good.

This sounds awesome, thanks for sharing! I pulled way too many survival braces and have been struggling on decks to build but this sounds like a perfect one to try.

I tried using mimikyu and ogerpon for stall and using magcargo for burn but it was to hard to go for that and had to use poison. I thought about froslass but it wouldn’t work in every instance.

@@SturmAH So I am also using a 1/1 Pidgey/Pidgeot along with Bibs. I've found that sometimes you just need that one extra card to pull off the combo, and Pidgeot helps, but it's definitely not 100% necessary. I'm also not running any Brute Bonnets, but mostly cause I don't know how to work them in my current list.

33:06 - Mela is indeed triggered by damage from an attack, but your opponent can’t Mela there. The poison is between turns (not during you turn) and is after & separate from the damage from the attack. Mela wouldn’t work.

I'd try to throw in some paldean students, since you could discard two (with ultra ball for example) and just instantly search for a brute bonnet, venipede and scolipede relatively quickly

I've tinkered with Scolipede for a bit but haven't found the right 60 for consistency, so I'm interested to see how your deck plays out. I've been trying to play it with froslass as you get an instant ko on pokemon in the active with abilities

I've been making a lot of single prizer decks. Kingambit is one of my favorites, especially with Froslass being a good tech. The aggron is definitely the best because its Zoroark Vstar without the ability and being a two prizer. This one is up next for me i guess. Great video and as always, Cheers!

I had an interesting thought... The opponent in the 1st match, they may be running only a minor modified Chien-Pao theme deck, the tcg live given one upon an update. I kept mine intact and that deck list has: lost vacuums; Morty's Conviction and Mew-ex in it. The longer the match went on, the more I became convinced of its probability! Really, the only major differences I could see is the energy count; and no Lumineon.

Alolan Raticate seems to be better over Scolipede with the use of double turbo. It's also a stage 1 so it gets into play a turn faster.

Has anyone tried this list with atticus? It's a super niche supporter that lets you shuffle your hand into your deck and draw 7, but only when your opponents active pokemon is poisoned

I haven’t played pokemon very much, so idk if they have a card that does this, but if Pokemon made a card that discards oooor shuffles energy from pokemon that wasn’t attached directly from the hand, what does everyone think about that?? (Or vice versa, detaches energy that was attached from hand)

hawlucha with the 'flying entry' puts 10 damage counters to two benched Pokémon, so you can use it as a backup in case you miss your knockout

Chien pao player isnt bright on his first attack, he should not waste on water energy too much so there is a chance to have more energy to use. Scolipede is the dollar store version of Tsareena ex and its an okay deck to use than alolan rat

During the weekend of a major event, might be a good idea to plan not to upload that day and just stream a watch party. That is unless you are there. And if so then just make it a rule that you don't upload the weekend of events. We understand, plus sometimes quality over quantity if the best move 👍 Love your content

How many emails do you have? I have about 10 and what I do is request a password reset to every email and then find out which one receives the link. It'll only send to registered emails.
