Can technology and data bring back to life one of the greatest painters of all time?
On 5 April 2016 The Next Rembrandt has been unveiled in Amsterdam: a 3D printed painting, made solely from data of Rembrandt’s body of work. Thus bringing the Master of Light and Shadow back to life to create one more painting. Only this time, data is the painter, and technology the brush.

please does anyone know the song in the background? (and if it isn't one then possibly all of them xD ?) , and I must to say that technology can do amazing things, but even so I would rather had at home originaly painted pic .. but really amazing work on that, it really is special

It would be amazing to have 'hybrid art'. A painting composition made by combining the artistic values and characters of two or more of the master's to create a painting.

Annoyed by this techsterbation... far more rewarding to watch children learning to paint and those such as myself actually experience painting first hand.
