Pile 3/ Yeah we’re long distance and the lack of physical connection is driving me insane and so I’ve come to realize that’s a necessity in a relationship for me. So we agreed to have set dates where we are going to see each other but there hasn’t been any tangible evidence that it’s actually going to happen and if nothing changes I’m going to have to walk away but I really don’t want to 😕. I know our love is mutual but it’s just certain things that are nonnegotiable and the physical is one of them.

That is such a heartbreaking situation, my entire heart goes out to you ❤ it definitely sounds like you are on the right path by upholding your boundary of needing to have tangible evidence of when you will meet next. I remember a podcast I heard a while ago where the expert was saying that long-distance relationships can only last long-term if there is a set in stone date planned where you will no longer be long-distance. So I completely understand why you are at the point of potentially leaving despite the mutual love

Group 2: she is going to get married to guy with a lot of money. She said that we can continue our relationship which was only travel and restaurants but not any intimacy. I told her that I am not comfortable coming over to her place after she is married. So next week when we meet we become acquaintances. I do not want to remarry and we can be best buddies.
