Shane Wright was 2022's consensus number one for years. Wright starred for the Kingston Frontenacs, working his way to the top of rankings. Since draft day, Shane Wright has been jerked around by the Kraken, but still managed to impress at the AHL and OHL levels, and win the world juniors in 2023.
