The Nice Guy Comes to Visit | The Surprise Appearance of the Mother-in-law 

Thanks everyone and this is my mother in law who kicked him out of the house

Dear Luyen, You certainly have a curious situation with this male visitor. Sometimes, I feel he is grooming your daughter with gifts for unsavory goals toward her, and other times, I wonder if he's interested in you and so is being nice to your daughter to get closer to mom. However, in my country, his interest in your daughter (taking her from your home without your permission, buying her clothes and food, and toys, and his constant eye contact with her even when you're there) before showing months of interest in you first is a BIG RED FLAG. I don't know what you will discover, but while this plays out, I hope you will discuss with your beautiful little girl ways to keep safe from men who are too friendly & that she can continue to say no even if he pushes her into leaving with him again. Show her a place to hide or run to, teach her about biting or kicking, about a secret safe word between the 2 of you so he can't take her under a false 'emergency' unless he tells it to her because you gave it to him. In my country, we have to teach this, and much more, to our little ones, sadly. And it looks like your mother-in-law is a good defender. I was a single mom in my youth so I understand how hard you work to keep your kids safe. My best to you & your little girl.

Hey Luyen and Lan. I don’t know how to say this. I have noticed that this man comes along and when Lan is helping and learning things from you, he pushes her away and takes over her learning process. Then starts to try and influence you for your affection. Your mother-in-law appearing when she did, visibly irritated him before she told him to go. It would be a shame to waste the effort you put into Lan, because she has developed splendidly. First you try to lure the child with sweets and toys and then you show your true colors. Children are susceptible to such things. Lan has already shown which side she is on and has sat down next to you. On the other side😔😔😔😔
