this video is good as usual, one thing though is there were a LOT of repeated clips throughout the video, as i'm a person who can't focus on audio only and i actually watch the entire thing. didn't ruin it tho good work
also little wierd audio thing at the end, but great video!! ive been watching LS almost since i started in season 4 so i knew almost all of this, but it was still good insight with viewpoints i havent seen, or endings to stories i was never really invested in to find out
I'd say you missed one of the times LS had a chance to prove his starcraft skills at an SC2 tournament organised by Day9. He didn't win a game but was apparently going through some sort of health problem at the time
Hey just wanted to clarify the segment around me (15:01). I had two tryouts, the first tryout I played well and second I piss smurfed. Both tryouts I passed and was offered.
LS, aka "Low Standards", is an ex commentator for the LCK that is often ridiculed for his annoying personality and questionable game knowledge. He is specifically known for his Annie and Tahm “Thomas” Kench two-trick-pony in low platinum solo-queue.
LS aka Leonídas Spártakos is an infamous Pantheon one trick, known for single handedly winning the Peloponnesian War by freezing waves and maintaining the phalanx against the onslaught of Athenians. He has ulted to the mythical land of “Korea” for retirement, where he pursues his passion of acrobatics by dodging 90% of his games
LS, aka Losing Streak, is the Head Coach of esports organization Cloud9. He is most famous for going 0-9 and rage quitting after his jungler died at scuttle for the 4th time in 3 games.
LS aka "LEISURELY SCAMMING" is a coach btw who is well known for underselling his clients to make himself seem more correct. Little does he know his twitch chat has a combined iq of 72 and can see through his tricks.

Some stuff that wasn´t mentioned or at least not as much: -Sexuality: LS is openly bisexual, this is important since I think S.Korea is heavily homophobic and his sexuality probably played a part in the LCK casting, BBQ and T1 issues. -Other players beef: Aside from Nemesis, he also had rough moments with other friends of his. Mainly Malice and Sanchovies. The Malice issue was because I think he refused to help him level an NA account so he could practice with his players in his C9 run, also Malice smoked in an apartment that belonged to LS when it was strictly prohibited. To this point I don´t know where their current relationship stands. Sanchovies issue was because at one point they both were very close, but something happened and Sanchovies said he no longer feel comfortable. They cut relationship for almost a year I believe but eventually they regained the friendship and now they´re good friends again. - Upcoming players: Some pros like Bwipo or Crownie acquired coaching from LS before they became pros, the coaching sessions are still on his YT channel actually.
I remember way back in the day he annoyed me tremendously so I made it a mission to not watch anything revolving around him or would skip his clips in LoL clips vids, he just rubbed me the wrong way. Then recently I said fuck it and watched some of the videos of him with Drututt and I realized I was being a weirdo and he's actually pretty funny. Kinda shows that you shouldn't always base your opinions on what you thought of someone years and years prior. LS is pretty cool.
ya he can be humorous, but he is still a glorified drug addict that robbed c9 and leeched off of dozens of people before being made relevant by those people whilst simultaneously claiming he made them relevant lol
Haha, just wait for another Twitter drama that LS starts because he's just another Twitter user that bases his opinions without knowing anything. I was the opposite of you and that I watched LS despite the hate on him because of his analysis on pro games and reactions to them. I later come to the conclusion that this guy is just very narcissistic and have stopped watching him ever since.
@@MuddaAsian Meh to each their own. I'm not saying he's a saint, I'm just saying he isn't as bad as I'd imagined and won't go out of my way to avoid watching anything with him in it. I don't watch many streams in general let alone LS. If he shows up in a video of clips then cool.

What could be interesting to add is the "systems meme". Basically LS is a close friend with T1 CEO Joe Marsh aka CEO of Based. And when C9 kicked LS because of the inability to change their coaching system Joe Marsh defended LS and Jack and Joe clashed a little bit. Now every time C9 performs badly internationally the "systems meme" is mentioned because C9 is known to priorities winning the league and neglecting the international success (because NA bad and winning league is good for sponsors because they think NA cant go far internationally, which was deproofen by the NRG run).
LS : social climber, desperate for clout and money. But isnt very good at the game and has niche strategies that are elementary at best. Seems like a nice guy when off camera tho!
In regard to the Nemesis falling out, it's not that LS have moved past it and Neme hasn't. It's that LS fucked up and Neme doesn't wanna be close again.
@@hazmat1 As far as I remember in his early career of league he played teemo EXTENSIVELY. And thus made a "book of teemo" - a huge document about teemo: how to play, when and exactly where to place shrooms and all that jazz. He said he worked and reworked on that a lot but in the end it was never released to the public. He definitely mentioned it years ago from time to time.
I feel like people like LS and Caedrel that have a super high understanding of the game would be REALLY good if they were brought onto teams as solely an analyst. Effectively "these items are bad don't buy these" etc for the team. Still question why teams don't go for this tbh
The problem with LS is that in fact he had good ideas but most of his claims and the disrepectful way of talking to other people who disagree with him are just wrong. and he will never acknowledge that, he feel superior in any aspect of life to anyone and he will always play victim when he find himself in disadvantage.
100% agree, he is the type of guy you should always ask as he might have a great idea, but you should never blindly follow him since most of his staff is utter BS and his ego won't let him acknowledge it. Also were any of his claims about being faker-approved or having multiple coaching job offers or ever playing against professionals in scrims been proven? I feel like these are only his claims while in reality he is diamond at max.
@@gaborolaszi5062 Yeah the T1 stuff is confirmed by the CEO Joe Marsh. I also believed LS peaked low masters but i'm not 100% on that so fact check me.

heyy hazmat seeing your videos and more about LS it made me really curious to know more about how he sees the game, how can i do this? just watch tens of hours of his streams?
Hello, there are a few ways to do it, but you have to jump around essentially. 1. His FINAL CAREER RECAP stream, jump around in the chapters there: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hxqSQfssCoc.html 2. The InvenGLOBAL articles of him are pretty nice: www.invenglobal.com/articles/13666/part-2-of-talking-with-ls-riot-saved-my-life-with-this-game-i-was-homeless-i-was-struggling-i-didnt-have-anywhere-to-go-back-to (there are more articles) 3. Looking at his Draft Dystopia videos (TSM/T1) 4. In-depth discussion about champion categories: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Qj3JV5CeLBk.html & ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-T5MFmezx5ow.html Addendum playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PLnRqvw2W1-bbNzeuxLSRqKyeGjbEFPspH And then you obviously have my summary of his philosophy in this video itself which mainly comes from those said sources.
Adamant on his opinions. He might not have slightest clue on the context, but he will still flap his mouth and create a controversy. From, bullying countless small streamers to getting fired from the C9; LS has some serious issue.
If I recall correctly LS has mentioned there is a sex tape of him with which he was being blackmailed. Though I think its gonna be hard to find any info on this to confirm it.
I haven't really been following the league scene actively since S7 or S8, but it's kind of bizarre how much of this i already know from following LS on his early days. This iceberg has been more of a reminder of the past to me and reminded me why i liked watching him in the first place, but i still dislike how much he almost talks down to people that he doesnt agree with, or the things that he thinks is wrong. Sustain in league had to be nerfed systematically across the board for morello to become a bad purchase, it's always been a bad item that's been horrible to buy, the item just feels terrible, but it was a systematic issue in league that forced the purchase, not the item being strong stat-wise. So if you do actually do the number-crunching math you'll find out that morello works when it matters, when higher overall damage doesn't actually do anything for you when the enemy just sustains it back up. And i also kind of agree with Febi on feeling how the game plays, just the raw understanding of fundamentals is much more important to success in league than mathematical number-crunching which is what a lot of silver players focus on, it doesn't really get you anywhere. All people see are stats and winrates and these don't tell any tales. Of course it's important to back up your points and arguments with statistics, but it's never the end all be all of getting to the truth of the matter. This also comes to the renekton argument, LS hates him because he doesn't fit in teamcomps, but if the champion is just so ridiculously broken that argument doesn't matter. Anyways, that's my 5 cents on LS, I like him as a person but i've always thought his takes were really outlandish, he always strikes me as the guy who would say malphite, orianna and yasuo is the most broken teamcomp that can never beaten because they all press their ultimates and win the teamfight.
Your opinion on him talking down to people he doesn't agree with is very understandable. People generally feel bad about being wrong so when those feelings aren't being accomodated while someone is showing them they're wrong about he issue, they take it as rudeness. One could explain this behaviour as a sign of autism. A lack of different social cues is common with autism and debating with autistic people might leave you feeling like your feelings and thoughts aren't appreciated. This is my perception, yours may differ. Just because there is a breakdown in communication, doesn't mean someone is talking down to another person. It may be perceived as such, but perception is subjective. LS isn't afraid of being wrong, he is wrong often and doesn't mind conversations about league, he just tends to dominate those conversations due to having a decent knowledge base compared to his chat/other league players. People clown on him for being low-elo=D1, he plays in korea and often not soloq meta champs. Does he feel the need to prove his abilities to anyone in soloq? Doesn't seem that way to me. I would enjoy waching him grind out only soloq meta picks in midlane for a month and seeing where he lands elo-wise on any given server. Regarding Febi's feeling and your opinion on fundamentals, I believe players who understand fundamentals go and look further. LS doesn't only argue about numbers and projected efficiency, he argues about anything anyone wants to discuss about the game. He has argued with the best coaches and some of the best players. Based on what you wrote it would be strange if they still respected him and his opinions. They do, so maybe you're incorrect? Renekton isn't/wasn't good, idk meta atm, he feels good generally and is comfortable into nearly any matchup so pro players can always go even. He just doesn't scale. His damage is lackluster in pro play late-game, his tankiness is moderate at best due to weak tank-enhance in ult and him having a single target point and click cc makes him a secondary cc support akin to thresh come late game in pro play. He gets consistently outclassed in team fights and in the side lane by other champions. Often in both. Febi isn't relevant, you're not relevant, I'm not relevant. LS has worked with players better than Febi, better than you and better than me, and he has coached them. He coached T1 and it seems to me he was ousted only because of toxic, entitled and controlling fandom. Higher overall damage is what fights in the game are based on, more dmg dealt in a smaller time frame (percentage wise if you want to account for difference in HP). Of course mechanics come to play but then you have to make several arguments, all very specific and you still end up not covering even a small percentage of potential misplays in any given scenario. That would be where intuition comes to play, an educated guess so to speak. Will 10-14% increased dmg matter more than 60% reduction in healing against that champion. What about the 4 other champions on the enemy team? What about my team? Do they have easier to apply GW than Morello for an AP champ? Liandry's means more dmg, morello is situational. Healing makes champions stronger in extended fights, so early and mid game. By late game your healing won't matter as much due to a large increase in damage in a shorter time frame. LS generally doesn't evaluate meta based off of soloq where anything can happen. If you felt like I talked down to you, I'm sorry but it was definitely not my intention. I don't have the innate capability to communicate in a way that accomodates others enough for their perception not to be the same as your perception of LS's communication. I have tried my best. I spent atleast 30 minutes filtering my thoughts. LS doesn't have the luxury to spend equal amounts of time filtering himself as I did in this comment, due to him streaming live.
@@NuudelikasiDG boohoo, he has it so hard, he needs to stream and also communicate thoughts in real time without being condescending whilst he's not even the one playing the actual game.
The part about agreeing with fabi on how the game feels is actually just crazy, thats like playing the game with 50% of your screen turned off since it feels right to you. Regardless if you say you havent followed him in a while, how can you talk about the renekton argument if you dont really understand his position at least at the time. The morello argument you are saying is also wrong since you are not giving enough context, rather you are assuming context happens. LS actually adresses alot of what you are saying, but then again you havent followed him recently. I am pretty in the middle on LS, probably a bit more biased towards him than others, but your logic and argument on him/his beliefs is just wrongly procured. but hey thats just what i think

The portugese MP was just a guy who watches league of legends content, but he dislikes LS for whatever reason. LS cared likely because he was attacking the credibility of LS, and pointing out how LS is a problem in teams when he isn't by using skewed statistics

As much as i like this kind of format about league personalities. It is insane how biased you are in most videos and kinda defeats the purpose of those videos. Sure it is a long video so maybe that why you left it out. But you make a lot of claims which make him sound incredible in instances where he bsrely did anything (for example irronically using caedral disliking renekton as an argument to validate ls coaching despite caedral point being that he is wrong about most stuff and right about one thing which he then blows out of porportion to validatr his coaching) and when there is something negativ aboit him you try to barely talk about it or leave it oit all together (like nightblue drama, nemesis drama and etc). Like it is ok for you to like ls and believe in his philosophy, but when doing documentary being neutral should be the right approach

there is a place for his philosophy towards the game. If the game was 5 pro level AI's coached by LS against another 5 pro level AI's coached by someone else LS would be the world champion. but even the best players in the world are human with human tendencies and habits with limited learning ability. Sure Ivern mid is a really good strat on paper but its far better for a player to play Azir which he has played thousands of times over Ivern where he played it 5 times in scrims and first timing it on stage expecting the same level of play.
I see your point but the idea that LS sees players as robotic is false. You can hear more about it over here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hxqSQfssCoc.html
what would be really interesting is if he owned+coached a team, got together 1-2 veterans and fresh rookies all fully bought in to the LS religion and competed in a tier 2 league ( tier 1 would be too hard as the rookies who would be skilled enough for a tier 1 wouldve been scouted for higher pay and opportunities leaving only less talented rookies left) C9 was impossible for him to coach with players like Summit whos toxic even in a regular setting@@hazmat1
I cant believe how LS has convinced so many people his takes hold any weight. Faker certified?😂😂 ill believe that when i hear faker say LS knows his shit
- t1 ceo has confirmed that story multiple times on LS' stream - when has faker EVER shown it would be consistent with his behaviour to say something like that?
When LS was in consideration for T1 coach he had to interview (as in talk about the game and philosophy about it) with faker and he got the approval. That's why they moved forward but community backlash ruined it.
Video seems a bit biased, enjoy lot of LS content but for a lot of things like the caedrel renekton thing you made him seem better than he was, its certainly true to some extent what caedrel said, but fair play you gotta get clicks from somewhere. also as a many time toptop legend hearthstone player for years he most certainly did NOT create handlock, would like to see some serious sources from the hs community. you also didnt cover much of the LS nemesis thing close to in detail at all, like seemingly? missing out/ covering out LS' mistakes that he himself admitted to, and much to be fair to him seems like a big moment of growth for him especially during his difficult circumstances with mental health etc. they both certainly couldve done better and no one knows what actl happened but yeah, generally good video but looks a bit biased+ missing out/wrong about some things

In LS’s world he’s a god. In the real world he’s a low elo, failed coach Before he criticises anyone else, he should first prove his gameplay and/or coaching ability
Idk about that. There are way too many coaches who aren't challenger or even the top ranked in their own respective game yet they coach the best players in the world. Kk0ma is a prime example of hovering between gold and plat yet he managed to coach T1
man, this video is literally 1 hour and 20 minutes of LS proving his gameplay and coaching ability through many stages of his career. The main reason he failed as a coach is because of his non-diagnosed autistic behavior that no one knew until this year. That's why he is infamous and his controversial nature won't let him make his way in the esports industry. He is not a god, but he isn't an ignorant when it comes to game knowledge.
this video was pretty biased, didn't really highlight the negatives of his stream.Or at least it seemed like you made the video to absolve him of any issues he might have had i.e getting fired from C9, drama between just about everyone in league scene, perma calling pro players idiots etc.
Idk how LS is even popular with people to this day. The guy is hardstuck plat, has a mechanical skill of an average silver player and moans about the same exact concepts from year to year while completely ignoring the fact that they only work in a vacuum, even if we talk strictly competitive, let alone solo q. It's just weird at this point, sure, you can freeze a wave as top for 15 minutes and make the opponents game cancer, while the enemy jungler will proceed to throatfuck your entire team that is desperatrly trying to 4v5 and is typing death threats to you and your extended family, seems like a good idea.
