Tip for riding rexes!: Rex hitboxes go crazy on its left side, allowing it to hit you even if your behind it. But when the Rex turns right the hit box shrinks! Try to Always stay on the right side of the rex and keeping your head IN its right leg, this way aslong as you have had enough practice keeping your head in the right leg the rex may not hit you!

i play dilo a lot and that has happened to me quite a lot, the glitch is in the tail someone times the damage transfers trough the whole rex body

I always die for the same reason

The best thing about hunting at night as a dilo is knowing that you can see it, but it can’t see you. Some of my scariest experiences have been hiding at night and hearing footsteps run past, or hearing a dilo call.

I died a lot of times like that as a Dilo against Rexes and Giga. When you strike from behind, if the body of the dilo is perpedicular to the tail of the target, sometimes you can get hit...And the second time, that's because you walked too earlier onto the last position where the Rex bite

Rexes in general have awful hitboxes, bites reach super far and yet their hitbox is way up in their torso/chest area. Ive tested this before with a friend and the hitbox is so far in the middle and so small that honestly, hunting rexes is not worth the effort in my eyes. Not to mention dilos and uthas have their hitboxes reaching their very tail tip! Like whaat?? Anyways was so excited to see another video up, youre way more entertaining to watch than some popular the isle youtubers... Keep up the great work :D

Another small tip, if a rex ambushes you and you dont have your ambush try to out turn them. Dilo turn radius is really good and if you time it correctly you can end up behind the rex

And btw: If anyone can't decide whether to buy the game or not: well, if you like dinos and want to relax/hang out with people or enjoy some adrenaline rush as a hunter or prey THEN JUST DO IT. Do not read a ton of different reviews and EXPERIENCE IT YOURSELF, the game is cheap, buy it. I personally love it and the community (which is the core of this game) has been great so far :)

its funny that rex's hitbox reaches the tip of his tail but if you ass ride him under his left leg he will not get you, while your tail is literally in his left hitbox

18:33 that doesnt only happen when playing dilo, its the rexes hitbox, the left side hitbox is really big, so when riding a rex you have to stay on the right side

I think the reason why that part where you bit 80mil times at the same spot was that it was the end of the tail and not so much in the rex body so that hit box was small thus the 2 hits maybe?

lil info, every dino has a glitched left hitbox so whenever you're tailriding a dino and it turns left if your left hitbox gets on his mouth you get biten and also the rex has a drag effect wich means he can bite u even after the bite so always avoid showing your left hitbox to the rex, its not the rex bite wich is CRAZY its basically your left hitbox will mostly be under his mouth or his stomach and rexes can hit u from there so jus try to avoid being perpendicular to his mouth cuz u can show your left hitbox easily ^^

I killed an acro with my dilo ;). iOS got like 3 or 4 bites on it while I was on its tail and I ran through the trees. I had really good camo so I would sneer back to him and bite when he is laying down xD. Ended up killing him lol.

That allo should have kept laying down because he should have known that as long as he isn’t taking bleed damage it would take you forever to kill him and all they have to is add tail swiping and Rex’s would never die to dilos

You may have learned this already but the LEFT side of a trex is the only side they can hit you like that. Its why you must attack on the right side only

Tip Watch out for Ceras they are really good against Dilos I play Cera and Dilos are always in my menu literally my fav food but if I don’t find none time to go to port haha

Here's a tip buddie good fights tho but never no matter how good you are go in on the left side unless you know how to ride the left side

The rex and giga hitbox - never, EVER attack them from their left side. Check out Sticky Utah on youtube, he goes into great depths about the hitboxes

one time i was a sub rex fighting a dilo 1v1 i was pretty confident in winning (full sub rex, i prefer not to grow) until i broke my leg off this tiny cliff thought for sure i was dead with how much bleed i had until i somehow caught the tip of the dilo’s tail or something in a bite and killed it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ felt kinda bad for the dilo cuz stupid hitboxes but happy i survived lol
