Another place in Cuba that you should visit is a town called "Baragua" which is located in Ciego de Ávila Province. Most of the people there are descendents of people from Jamaica, Barbados, and other english speaking islands in the Caribbean.

I was there f/ two weeks in June '94. Best ppl on Earth. I stayed in Old Havana and Belen. No crime @ all

I was born and raised in the U.S. but moved to Thailand 23 years ago and love it here. I also got married to a beautiful and very smart Thai woman and we have a good marriage for the past 12 years. I am 66 now but look in my late forties.

May i say she’s a big girl. But maybe she has some underlying health problems that make her that size. I give her props for wearing what she’s wearing. It shows me she’s comfortable in who she is. I had an underlying health condition that caused me to be 330 pounds. But in the US there’s available help where in Cuba, she might not be able to get help with her underlying condition. God Bless her. Everybody’s Beautiful in their own way. 😀

Hi love Cuba been there twice did a house share in Havana and on the 3rd day there was a massive gathering in the square turns out Castro was talking to the people absolutely awesome. I love these vids - they really immerse the viewer in Cuban culture! A few questions: 1. I been debating taking a quick trip ( 2 wks or less) to either Cuba or Colombia (Cartegna). I heard that Cuba doesn't accept plastic from American tourists. I'm uncomfortable traveling with Cash for obvious reasons, is there an alternative? 2. In another video you were going over the 'Dating Scene'. I lived in Thailand for a few years teaching ESL and Math. From what you described, dating in Cuba is somewhat similar to that of Thailand. There is this cultural expectation in Thailand where the man is expected to pay for the lady? Now, in my experience this depends on their background. The ones that come from privileged backgrounds typically don't rely on the man and usually they offer or go dutch ( I tested this, not that I'm a cheap skate, but to check their sincerity.). The ones that come from less privilege tend to be more dependent and a foreign man will be viewed as an "ATM Machine"...LoL! Btw, it also depends on their Education level and life experiences. I noticed the ones that lived abroad like in the States or the UK seem to possess a more westernized mentality. This 'man pays' is a cultural expectation in Cuba too?

No sirens, police cars, fire rigs, ambulances that are usually heard in any American city. Just people and local vehicular traffic, which is strangely light. Street lighting seems opaque, too. There are no night life businesses either. Everything seems local.

Because of the Economic Boycott that the United States has been subjecting the Cuban Economy to work around, the Streets in Cuba have Very Few Late Model Vehicles. Hence, the street are ALMOST VOID of Vehicles ..... so void are the streets ..... in some of the local neighborhoods that you Czech, walk thru, chain barricades are blocking automobiles ..... Motos, scooters and bicycles and foot traffic can pass around the Blocking Chains, but not autos. which has turned the local streets into a FRONT YARD when the sun goes down in the Evening. Very Nice. I've got to go to SEE about going Dis' summer to Cuba. Czech: Tks. much.

Thanks for the footage. Its real. Im a bit puzzled by Cuba. If its economy is tank and its inflation is in the ceiling examples of affluence shouldn't exists but you've captured ppl enjoying themselves in nice establishments dressed reasonably well and communities with infrastructure.

Your Spanish is better then mine . I have been to that beach a few times . I have a regular chica in Havana . Sometimes I go there by myself . I do get bothered but I am retired now so I find it all fun . I rent a casa particular in Havana for $20 us a night . A cab from the city cost us $10 us .

I've watched a lot of Cuban videos and have been surprised that there is not a prominent military or uniformed police presence on the streets. I live in a small town in Mexico and cops and soldiers are everywhere, all the time. No hassles, just there.
