I think I read a comment about it: supposedly it’s not actually the spinning that causes the wielder to fly/float/glide but rather a built in mechanism that allows for flight to occur, the spinning is just for effect (although I always assumed that it was also spinning to provide either protection from above while flying or to help keep the immediate surrounding area illuminated in case of flying through darkened areas, maybe both).
@@Nick-hm9rh this is a universe with space wizards, planets that are entirely one thing and one of the stories within this universe involves a family that harvests moisture on a desert planet with 2 suns; most explanations on things in this universe are hardly going to make it any less silly.
First a torture to break her by the Emperor, then her eye to Vader, then one foot to Sixth Brother, then one hand to Cal Kestis, one slash across the chest which would kill most of people, and at the end her head to end her misery. She really had been through a lot, perhaps the inquisitor who deserved pity the most.
That lightsaber ignition at 4:56 had no business being as clean as it was Edit: Just realized, to me it actually sounds pretty similar to when Cal triggers his dark side ability towards the end of the game. Don’t know if that was an intentional detail meant to foreshadow that moment but nonetheless it’s interesting
When I first watched this i had a thought about what the politician guy said and when he was saying “while you have been chasing shadows” to the 9th sister when she showed up he might have been referring to maul because in rebels the other inquisitors refer to maul as the shadow this might be obvious to everyone it’s just that I noticed it and thought it was a cool reference
Yea but then we know Cal would lose if it was the grand inquisitor. The grand inquisitor really is skilled but more then that, he has plot armor until rebels season 1. That’s why in kenobi, we all knew he was alive or at least know that if he wasn’t then we would be pissed at Disney for ruining canon. And by the time of rebels, we know the grand inquisitor has not gained any cybernetics or cyber enhancements so if Cal defeated him, it wasn’t anything permanent.
@@Donovan_oryx924 eh it would be kinda bad. The first 2 fights with Trilla but why would the grand inquisitor stop trying to kill/capture Cal and the darth Vader thing, I don’t see him that much more skilled then Cal. I see Cal as already better than season 2 Kanan by this point, Cal is still improving his skills while Kanan has remained stagnant and he still survived against the grand inquisitor many times even if the grand inquisitor wasn’t trying till the end.
She lost her hand and Vader respects her. So, she learned more loss which makes her stronger through rage. She didn't do like Trilla did and get redeemed. When Vader was suicidal, Ninth sister spoke up.
Ninth sister is probably one of the more competent Inquisitors besides Grand. She doesn’t let ego get in the way of her job, she actually utilizes her rage instead of having it blind her, and she doesn’t underestimate her opponents.
@@matthewriley7826who said he needed new recruits? Matter of fact, every inquisitor was theoretically a threat to Vader since Palpatine wanted to replace him (not that Inquisitors would ever beat Vader).
@@alpacawizardman6778 She doesn't underestimate her opponents? She pretty much underestimated Cal in Fallen Order, calling him trash and all that just before getting her hand cut off and then yeeted of a tree..
The start of this game was so elite, wish they did corasaunt a little better map wise though. Being able to be on the upside and go through different levels would’ve been dope. Also wished we could’ve visited the Jedi temple, we haven’t seen much of what it’s like now palpatine uses it as his HQ
Masana Tide did not willingly become an Inquisitor. She was captured, isolated, tortured, her mind played with, until she was broken, twisted, and reforged into a cruel and angry killer. That was the fate of many of the individuals who became inquisitors
@swolewalker realistically leaving would be as difficult as leaving the army in real life, specially if you're a war prisoner who was kept around only for their skill set. Of course the torture part would fall under how tyrannical the government of said army is but we're running on hypotheticals here.
I cant put my finger on it but everything about her in the first game looked more polished...here? It just looks like they ported her from the old game and put here in this one...but the engine didnt completely accept it...for gods sake even her lightsaber looks too small for her...what the hell?
I started out playing on story mode which is my normal first play through choice and I felt she was easier in this game compared to fallen order. I’ve since upped my difficulty in game but it was an interesting fight for me either way.
Feel bad for this inquisitor. Last game, I loved practicing on her and really beating her up without any damage. So fighting her again after all those years got her beat again. Just got scratched two or three times.
The only reason I had to watch this was because my game lagged out so much during the cut scene that I had no idea what was going on. Cal exits the ship and then the 9th sister appears and then I'm in the sewers. The pc port is trash
whether movies or games i just cant come terms with a lighter sabre continuing to remain stuck in someones body in the spot while the scene continues. it should be more like block of butter being dropped on a red hot knife. even if you sanitise the scenes by removing the smoking/ localised vaporisation. even Greedo death scene with a blaster (smoke / vapours) made sense in the first movie. lucas did not show anything like that in the first trilogy.
Well in here, the 9th Sister is holding the lightsaber with the force in this scene, but yeah you're actually right. It should really just continue to fall, however in most cases the character who is stabbing is maintaining a grip on the saber.
What the EFFING bejesus was that!!! I'm playing on Knight and blocked her sttack twice in an entire fight!! Had to turn the difficultly down. Absolute bullshit fight.
I want to change the new Canon having Obi-Wan and Ahsoka joined Anakin on mustafar to the darkside and have a rebellion far outside the galaxy nine hundred Gigillion MC80 Liberty star cruisers, nine hundred gigillion MC30C frigates, nine hundred gigillion Nebula Class star destroyers, nine hundred gigillion Endurance Class star destroyers and two hundred Viscount Star Defenders.... and Tech, Wrecker, Echo, Hunter, Omega, Rex, Wolff, Gregor and several others have been teleported to this fleet to join the rebellion.
inquisitor's suck it's like everything Disney touches turns to shit. Hell the only character that doesn't suck "ahsoka" was the last character lucus created.
god the ninth sister was awful, hated her since day one. laziest character design ive ever seen and she does nothing but shouts. i was surprised to when i saw "sister" in the title
I don't understand what's lazy about his design, however I appreciate him as a character because he works well in his role as a secondary inquisitor, he's intimidating and has his charisma, making use of his head as well as his muscles
