@@verum6076 I do the same with the uppercut. Every time I buy it, I die before I get to do anything with it. But if I loot it off some poor sap, I end up going on a killing spree 😂 I have three in my inventory that I picked up off of dudes who killed me in the same match. Best trophy’s ever.
Love the history of the nitro express, they named it because the cartridges use nitroglycerin instead of standard gunpowder and there was a famous train that ran across America called the American Express as the shotgun sounded like an express train when the rounds passed over head. Also if it hit you, you look like you were hit by an express train.
Considering how the amuntaion maker was british and express trains exist around the world, I don't think It was named after the american Express and it seems that it would called express not because of the sound but rather the speed.
Also they don't just use nitro, they have it mixed into the propellant. Pure nitro wouldn't work, and would just turn your cartridges into grenades that explode randomly.
I like the nitro with shredder, but i find it inconsistent. Sometimes i literally destroy people from 60 m, then i hit somebody from 10 m and he survives. Good gun tho
That's just Nitro and limb and shoulder shots, it's not shedder ammo causing the hit marker and in those situations shredder is far better cause they're bleeding to death very quickly.
As a Nitro main, I'm convinced that simply changing the ammo name from DumDum to shredder was actually a buff. Nobody took it seriously when they were comparing it to regular dumdum ammo, but shredder accurately describes it as a completely different kind of ammo that just so happens to also cause bleed, and gets across how destructive it really is.
I tried the Nitro for the first time the other night, and I had an absolute blast. I was scared to try it because I am so bad with the sight, but you basically have an insane range shotgun if you hipfire and then an RPG-sniper if you ADS. Really fun weapon to use
Do note that the Nitro DumDum (Or Shredder as it is called now) Can pen ANY object as long as it is one. Brick, Thick Metal, you name it. It doesn't decrease it to long ammo pen, it just decreases the quantity amount the nitro bullet can pen through.
@@LJDima Being the person who got Hornet to try the pen on the Nitro DumDum in the first place. There's actually a surprising amount of walls you can shoot through that are a single layer. And actually, most bricks that you do deal with, are a single layer. There is a few in the world that are double, for sure though. I just can't remember which ones as I've given up this game for a while now.
I agree but at the same time i'm sour cus i fanned a guy twice upper body with fmj pax, only for me to get shot by his team mate with a shotgun. I only got to shoot those 2 shots, and they somehow didnt kill him. I am flabbergasted. XD
Nitro is a weird gun to me. There was a period of time when I was destroying everyone with it, landing almost all snap-shot/quickscope. But after resting from Hunt for a brief time, I just can't seem to do that anymore. Also, I had been grinding prestige, so not having much access to it also doesn't help.
Only downside to shredder ammo is it will never one shot to the arm, even point blank. But other then that it's a straight upgrade. I think if more people ran nitro it would be nerfed, thankfully most people don't want to deal with the sights. I actually like them for some reason though.
Unless something has changed since I last played, Nitro and Nitro DumDum/Shredder will one shot to the arm. 13-16 meters for default, and farther for shredder. The other downside is a very, very minimal decrease in muzzle velocity.
Tbh if the nitro got one of these three buffs it'd go from underwhelming to being fairly good/decent. 1. Bump up the Limb damage modifiers from .25 and .2(Arm and Legs) to .4 and .3 giving it a oneshot capacity in arms normally and legs if using shredder for its compact ammo damage drop off(20m). 2. Give more ammo like 8 rounds overall(2/6) while keeping shredder to 6, as it's special ammo makes it hard enough to gain rounds. 3. Drop it's price to +1k down to either 800 or even 700, as the current way this rifle functions is so underwhelming why the hell wouldn't you just take a Avtomat for the extra 200 or a Crown and King/Dolch for less. Implement all three and it'd make the gun too good imo, but any one of these would at least make the weapon more amicable for its super low ammo count and forced aperture sights.

Dude, question... How is it possible that you can literally stand there and aim shots/hold angles in highly visible areas without getting absolutely annihilated? You do it so often in a lot of your videos. I can't stand still for longer than 0.5 seconds without someone one-tapping me at 6 star. Most of my 6 v 6 star experience is almost ZERO angle holding because you'll get checked by wallbangs from FMJs. Or, flashed, or they just won't peak that angle since they know approximately where you are.
One thing i am trying over and over again is to finally get a trippel or even a Double colleteral with the Nitro. Diddnt happent once in 1000 hours guess its up to spending more worthy time into this incredebly work of art.
I love desalle still. it's so much harder to be successful with a passive playstyle because there are so many ways to accomplish your goal. has its downsides but I put 90 hrs in the test server for it and it was some of the most fun I ever had in hunt.
Lightfoot trait. You can jump 2 times and take a couple steps and it makes almost no sound. Takes some time to get used to the movement but it is definitely worth it.
In my experience i feel like the oneshot close range is a bit less reliable with the shredder ammo compared to normal ammo, but maybe thats just me being inconsistent with my aim
my main beef with the nitro is the effective range. it's just too good. and millionaires don't have to worry about the only downside of this gun. but I don't think it's op. The avto straight up needs to be removed though.

@@hornetlul lol! I have 1k hours in hunt, I know the trait ;D I can't repeat the execution of that ninja jumping. I know about CD and what buttons to press. But my char moans at the start of the jump and slows down. Experienced players do this seemingly at full speed.
Thank you for the video! it was so nice to watch you play the nitro. IMO with the economy system in hunt being a little broken at this time, nitro feels a little too overpowered. I see nitros regularly with that one hit kill, crazy velocity and people getting better and better with that sight - its brutal!! :D
They need to get rid of this and avto. With people getting to unlimited currency it ruins the game especially at higher levels of play. The game is balanced around weapons having ranges of effectiveness and there being counterplay. Both of these guns are effective in multiple range brackets and have zero counterplay. I think they need to add a "budget" mode where you can spend a certain maximum amount on your character, 500 or 750 would probably be a good limit.
Not just that but also the velocity on guns. Lower velocity guns are almost impossible to hit even as close to medium ranges because when people move erratically you will miss just due to the low velocity. So players that have farmed money are able to be more effective with less skill and a larger amount of ranges.
Most things shown in this video could be done with slugs imo, maybe half of it Nitro is one of those weapons that never work for me, if my enemy isn't standing still I can't track them with that atrocious sight let alone hitting something
I didn’t know reg nitro only one shots at 41 meters. I shot 3 people like 70m out and got hit makers. I got a kill with the 6th but I was like man this gun is ass, well now I know. Thx for the knowledge
The Nitro is bascially a shotgun user that likes the one hit kill then they switch to slugs so they can kill from farther and then they think, ok what if I can kill from EVEN farther.
