The NIV Says Jesus is Lucifer 

The King James is not the absolute Bible. You will not find the word Lucifer in any old German Protestant Bible, it is a Latin word meaning bringer of light. And it is precisely because this Bible put this word into the world that there are now so many people who are confused. In Hebrew it means something like.... howling, bright, shining, but nothing to do with light. In the Butcher's Bible it's translated as shining star, son of the dawn and that refers back to Ezekiel where the men are worshipping, facing east (that's where the sun rises), kneeling before the sun and worshipping it and that's why he's called the son of the dawn because the false Christians (Catholics) worship the sunrise at Easter.

That's pretty much pathetic, you sure don't know your history. The Roman Catholic Latin Vulgate is the original bible. Not that the king James bible or any other are useless, they all could be used to knock sense into anyone about correct doctrine. But there's the Douay Rheims made in England that was against the protestant reformation, absolute same translation as the Latin Vulgate.

So, If there are differences in meaning of certain verses, can we say that they are both the word of God or that he can contradict himself? Just read 1 Corinth 13:4-8 and you will see how blatantly differently they can be.

Ive never fully read the bible and i am going to start, but the main question i have is which version?, i watch videos that say the wording is very different in each version. And i know they twist the meaning of words around like the lord baal thing. It keeps me from reading it beacuse im scared to interpret it incorrectly. So i appreciate this info greatly!

billy mcfadden .. i know how you feel. But the best thing that worked for me was to get a basic understanding of hebrew letters & words. (Allan Horvath has some really good lessons here on YT). Thats how i learned to look up words in the strongs concordance and compare it to the structure of the original hebrew language. Don't be discouraged. Pick one version and take it apart. Bit by bit. Shalom.

@@billymcfadden9226 Alot of people claim the King James is the only way to go but this is not true, I use an amplified bible that is much easier to understand and I would recommend it, you can get a E-Sword or My Sword App depending what kind of phone you have and it will give you the option to compare several Bible's to the King James and then you will see whether you think that they say the same thing,that is what I did and my Bible works great for me and really strengthened my walk with God also the King James version on the E-Sword has the numbers next to the words that when you click on the number it gives you the original Hebrew, Greek or Aramaic translation and definition, I hope this helps you ,God Bless you ❣
