Actually, Niklasso, the Neptune in AL isn't the Leander class Neptune of WW2, but a proposed Neptune class cruiser that was supposed to be the British Royal Navy's improved version of the Town class Edinburgh subclass (hence why Edinburgh and Neptune have similar abilities, but Neptune is better of course), but due to no longer needing such ships as the war was winding down and ending by the time they got into the planned construction phase, so the Royal Navy decided to scrap that plan and tried their hand at the Minotaur class (which also failed to get off the drawing board). P.S, god that was painful to see an oath ship scrapped.

I don't think that the pr ships are that hard to get. When the bonus exp events happen just start the exp farm for that nation's pr ship. I was able to finish exp farming because of those events.

I know i'm late but try the single 150mm main gun (sk c/28) it shoots out her Barrage 2x as fast as the prototype 152, and with her AP boost skill and single MG it taked full advantage of it at dev 30

You can't sortie her on siren stronghold because the bosses there reverse her self heal to damage or your healing will heal them instead. But if you want to sortie her there, put her at the back of your vanguard fleet, and let her first skill do the job.

Neptune wasn't so bad as usually you get the Royal cruiser team easily , wait until you try with Roon...... I got Saint Louis and Neptune first and go on grind for Roon with the 3 "basic" german cruiser (I don't have Prinz until later part of the grind...) it was BAD.... But ROON well worth it 8)

i have 2 pr ships Izumo and Roon and 1 decisive ship Azuma, i am almost done grinding for FDG, i was almost done on Saint Louis when the 2nd pr season released

The Neptune in AL is a Neptune class light cruiser("light" because she displaces more than Dreadnought herself) and not Neptune, the Leander class Light cruiser. They are very different ships

Good god where do i start with this one? Firstly no hate to the creator just that the vid has a LOT of mistakes in it that needs to be addressed. 1) wrong history talks about the Neptune from the Leander class. A quick search from AL wiki would have saved him the mistake but nope.(was addressed but still a mistake) 2) why the sh*t(note1) RN twin 152mm and not the high accuracy IB twin 150mm 3) a good AA ship? Bloody Leander does better than her in the AA department with 12% lower stats but 30% higher efficiency. 4) the axu is a mix that changes based on situation so ain't arguing for that. Note:p The twin 152mm fires 4x1 making 50% of all shells miss if it's fired from afar but the 150mm tbsk doesn't it's accurate stays true till max range even Bismarck at her 90 range can use this gun. Hell it's the only AP gun Bismarck can use effectively. Overall again no hate to the CC but the job looks sloppy with little effort. With more followers than this group i was expecting more effort from the guy. Again Neptune isn't a bad ship just the roles he is trying to fill with her is already filled by someone cheaper. Neptune is just a buffed Phoenix mostly used for farming.

I mean, not bad. But there are some areas in which you are objectively inaccurate. Neptune does not have great AA. She has 100% efficiency with a solid stat (363 at 120). Use Quad Bofors on her, she does not have the AA carry to efficiently make use of the roomba. Also, anyone who puts HPAAR on her is obviously lacking an AA carry, such as Isuzu Kai, Sandy Kai, Seattle or someone who has more than 100% effeciency. Your gear recommendations are off as well, as her second best gun is the twin 150 TBTSK. Your history as others have pointed out is slightly off, so gonna let them speak on that. You mentioned about her reload being the 5th worst of CLs in the game, but then not explained that using the formula of how it works, it's not that bad. PR requirements aren't even that hard. 3 million XP you get just by playing the game a few times, the rest is also just "do researches", "give X amount of cubes" pay some gold"... They're really not that high for very powerful ships that realistically anyone has access to (Other than FDG and Roon because KMS is just unloved outside of events so I get where you're coming from on that). It just takes a bit of time and patience. Other than that, ehh... Better than some of the other AL tripe I've witnessed on RU-vid.

Neptune is NOT an AA Ship. Freaking Leander has better AA Stats. She ist not a bad Ship, but she's definitly not good at shooting down Planes and her Role is easily filled with far better Ships that don't require the long Grind and BP Farming.
