I had some technical issues with some of the clips that I had to cut. I interviewed two really nice lads pre-game who you'll see briefly in the outro. I'll come back and see AFC Liverpool again very soon!
Brilliant and interesting video as always Sam. Live locally and didn't know what the origins of the AFC stood for until this video. Another local club in the area is city of Liverpool aka the purps who were ground sharing with Bootle FC but heard they are now looking for a new home as well.
Quality videos to watch pal , Celtic fan here but sometimes it's good to go and watch teams away from all the distractions, a like to watch bacup borough a club with it's roots in the community
This. Especially given current ground issues. Would be a good video Sam as they'll be at Widnes rugby ground next I think and massive stadium for the level so would be odd but maybe a good video.
I have total respect for the people behind this club. I actually have always been an Everton fan!!!! BUT- of all the club’s Liverpool FC fans and club have always kept to the ‘Spirit of Stankly’. So fair play to LFC. Let’s be fair following a lower league and non league club is brilliant fun. Again; well done to Footy adventures for promoting to the people and wider public that you can have an amazing experience at lower or non league levels!
Another example of how “grassroots” of the game are growing and strong. Just like the lower league coverage you provide for the Scottish leagues, seeing the what is going in the English game at the lower tiers shows how much heart is still involved.
Yeah good friends,I have heard about AFC Liverpool before and they are going well in the English Ninth Tier football and hope to see this team coming up well, good friends!!!!LONG LIVE AFC LIVERPOOL!!!🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️
Nice video, Sam. We both support Liverpool, Sammy boy. i respect AFC Liverpool for their A = affordability. £5 tickets only. You should go to a fulham premier league match one day Perhaps their home match to Crystal Palace of south east London. Nice that Marine AFC to let AFC Liverpool to stay in their stadium. Peterhead on the 24th this month and Nairn county would be nice. 3:40 because what he say and of the American market i won’t be surprised if one premier League match in near future be played in USA, as they are hosting the World Cup in 2026 time too. Chelsea v arsenal is a suggested match because how big them two are. Hanwell town in west London if you do a google on them is the non league Newcastle Sam. 😊 17:08 should be nice
I always thought that pro clubs always had an amateur side too. Atleast many teams in the Netherlands do. a few years ago i saw Ajax amateurs play in the cup and i even played against the Heerenveen Amateur team. Badge, name all the same, maybe just same dated shirts
Fascinating! AFC - Affordable Football Club - never realised that, but what a great approach. Does any money at all filter down from the Premier League to this tier?
If you're interested many Dutch clubs have amateur teams connected to them like SC Feyenoord or Ajax amateurs. As far as I know they used to be the same club but had to split offer for some reason or other
What other PL teams have baby club spin-offs (regardless of their reason for doing it)? City, MU & Liverpool all have them (Maine Road FC having the longest history having been established in 1955 lol) but do other clubs in England have them too?
I feel as though I should point something out quite a lot of these players and staff ditched my local team Skelmersdale united when our old manager joined afc Liverpool I hate this team because of this
@@FootyAdventuresCity of Liverpool is worth visiting (however ground issues). Probably be at the Widnes rugby stadium next. West Didsbury gets around 800 at home games. Crazy for that level so that would be worth a visit too mate.
I very much dislike their badge. It looks like they got Mao or Lenin to design it. All that's missing is the hammer and sickle. Are they out of their minds with such symbolism?
Another great vid! If you do find yourself back in Manchester any time soon, I can't recommend West Didsbury & Chorlton enough, they average about 700-800 and as the AFC Liverpool fella mentioned they're a fun bunch, some of the best chants in non-league 😅
Good point . I mean in big Metropolitan areas you are spoiled for choice in teams to support at that level. Personally if you do not own or are not the primary lease or tenant holders at your ground you should not be admitted to the Leagues like NW Counties
As a life long commie I have to say how much I love that club badge. Mind you, also as a lifelong Tractorboy there'll only ever be one club for me. Lived in Largs for a wee while (see what I did there?) and look forward to when you visit the National Coaching set up on the outskirts of the town and the Largs Thistle ground not far away from it. Great vid again.
