Shifting from conventional farming practices to regenerative agriculture takes courage, but the Kahles believe it could be the key to restoring the health of their soil-and the health of their family.
Love how TNF brand was integrated into this film. Very subtly at the end but also very impactful. Thank you TNF for investing in making important films like this and also your commitment to supporting the planet.
We have watched this family through their journey. They have been so diligent to push forward and make changes with conviction even though there were tough times. We are so proud of them for their research, testing, and tenacity.
To the folks who think this is some kind of ‘woke’ play - you’re wrong about this one. I for one hate the woke culture, but that is certainly not what this is about. This is about the farmer. I’ve met this family, and they’re the real deal. Not sure they mentioned it in this, but several of the members of the Kahle family had cancer at one point, from exposure to chemical applications. Please reconsider your reaction to this. It’s not intended to be a virtue signal. I’ve spent most of my career around agriculture and have met the practitioners of regen ag. It’s the way of the future. I’ll shut up now. Take care my friends.
Great Clip - I enjoyed that very much. Very inspiring story indeed. At the end we hear that the first cover crop was planted in 2015. What sort of results have been seen in the 8 years since? RA is often seen as doing more good than less bad and I can see a shift towards less reliance on chemical inputs. Wonderful story.
