Season 2 let's go!!!! Also, I've been doing an experiment regarding the thumbnails the past two episodes just letting YT use a "default" thumbnail. I will most likely go back to using "normal" thumbnails. Anyway, let's all see what happens next in season 2! Thanks for the support!
I am surprised you enjoy horror and gore films, because you seem super nice. Some might even call it adorable. The way you fanboy over Tyrion, Jon or Dany, hehe. The thing is you would probably be better served if you had a more cynical mindset. Almost all characters say one thing but mean other. GRRM is a huge cynic and his signature is passive-aggressive banter when it comes down to it. There are moments of heroism and beauty as well but they are far and few inbeetween. Embrace your inner cynic, for this is a brutal and grim world.
Cersei says power is power not knowledge. And yet she doesnt kill littlefinger. Why? He is useful. Why? His knowledge and ability to sing the needed song. The mockingbird sigil.
Some of the new characters introduced in this episode are my favorites...Kraster's daughter/wife Gilly and the Onion Knight, Ser Davos. Also, Milesandre has a huge role to play alongside Stannis and will prove most beneficial yet terrible...
I love that you are loving this show. I am also glad it's picking up and hopefully you are getting more views and it's worth it for you to keep going, because I promise you it only gets better and better and people will get hooked to your great reactions and will keep coming back for more!! @10:29 YES it is, its the prevailing religion in all of Westros, most people follow the "seven" or new gods as they are also called, very few people follow the old gods, most notably the Starks follow the old gods and prey to the Weirwood trees.
Another great reaction to this episode Sarah.....it's just the beginning so strap yourself in for more gore and awkward situations. Best wishes from down under :)
3:25 thats her trying to sound smart but in fact there meant to be in the Captial thats how they sell there crops to the people in the city and they live. no farmers allowed then no food will come through the gates
That's not true. He retired to continue his formal education and he wasn't that thrilled, at the time, with acting. He's since returned to the performing arts.
Would you consider watching the histories and lore? It truly gives a lot of context to better understand and enjoy the show. It is not too late to start with the histories and lore for season 1
The medieval period was an excellent time to live in, nearly the height of normalcy. People were in their proper stations, hierarchy was normal, and fidelity was the glue that held it all together. It was an alien world to our own where the primary concern was spiritual and legitimacy of the elite was conferred from superior realms, not by votes nor mere force of arms. Today is upside down world that was ushered in by its various subversive predecessors like the Renaissance, Enlightnment, and the Revolutions. What is funny is that the middle age is referred to as the dark age when modernity would actually fit that designation from a traditional point of view. You can see how this age of hedonism, democracy, egalitarianism, atheism, the economy, low politics, etc is clearly the dark age, the Kali yuga, or the iron age. It is said of our contemporary era, the actual dark age, that "piety, faith, love, and truth changed to deceit, violence, the tricks of trade, usury, profit... war, inspired by curse of iron and gold," etc, or "wealth (internal) and piety (adhering to one's dharma) will decrease day by day until the whole world will be wholly depraved. Then property alone will confer rank, wealth will be the only source of devotion, passion will be the sole bond of union between the sexes". Reject modernity, embrace tradition, initially by overcoming yourself.
No i'm not part of any crowd. If I was forced to be a part of a crowd it would the "anti-judgy people" or "anti label a person", both ironic used in this context. Or I'd be part of the "anti-I'm cooler than you" crowd, or "be happy for people who enjoy stuff" crowd.
