In Germany these things still get used for sure my kids will get to see these things

Can anyone confirm what it was that they held in front of the projector at 2.29 to produce that effect with the light?

Looking at what is in schools today, overhead projectors have been superseded by smart boards. Usually smart boards are a white board with cameras, speakers and digital video projectors combined.

They can be used for a variety of reasons. Like a science experiment during the solar eclipse

Being seeing this thing at my university and thought it is an old microscope 🙈

It's still easier to take notes on paper!

Some real inaccuracies here…like fires caused by objects touching the projector. Yeah- whatever!

The bulb is hot, though!
