The Notorious B.I.G. channel is the official RU-vid home of The Notorious B.I.G. featuring his catalog of official music videos. The Notorious B.I.G. is widely recognized as one of the world’s most influential rappers and has sold more than 17 million albums in the U.S. alone. Before his murder in 1997, Christopher Wallace recorded two classic albums as The Notorious B.I.G. His debut Ready to Die arrived in 1994 and helped revitalize the East Coast rap scene with massive hits like “Big Poppa” and “Juicy.” Life After Death was released in March 1997 just weeks after he was shot and killed in Los Angeles. The record topped the U.S. album charts and featured the hits “Hypnotize” and “Mo Money Mo Problems.” It remains one of the few hip-hop albums to ever achieve Diamond certification from the RIAA.

@Andrea Tupac was shot went to jail weeks after, heard this in prison, the song is so blatantly aimed at him. People sympathise with biggie cos he lied and played the good guy, pac was real the whole way put urself in his position, he’s at biggies studio(his best friend) in biggies neighbourhood NY and he somehow can’t find the people that hit Pac up, but claims he’s a Don on his album. Pac was just mad with his fake ness and that reply dis (hit em up) was a personification of biggies imagine

@@andromeda6431 Well, everybody who was close to Bad Boy at this time said that it was recorded long before Pac got shot. Biggie himself said it, neither Big nor Puffy played into the beef. KloutKulture I’m 15 and not trying to siund too cliched but my faves are probably Biggie, Rakim, Nas, Pac, DOOM and Pun/GZA. I literally don’t get any appeal in mumble rap at all. Obviously its about the beats but every single on sounds the same, drill/house shit and there’s no consrtuction to them. Only modern rap I fuck with is boom bap renaissance (aj munson, bronx slang and other underground stuff) or the very best lyricists like Cole, Kendrick or Freddie Gibbs

There are so many hints and subliminal threats at tupac. Foil the plot, meaning he condoned it, christened. The robbery took place right next to him like he says in the lyrics everything around me two glock nines, waited for the neighbors to call the police, like he didn't care at all. Disciplined is the message tupac got from prison, he speaks about that on this track. The commandments man its literally half directed towards PAC and most people either won't admit or they're lying. Its so obvious. Like tupacs old news with that new school line you need to learn like be disciplined. Tupac was scared shitless by all accounts and biggie basically addresses that too with heartbeat sasquach feet, as we proceed would be agreeing with the setup
